"Purchased an E drum set for my son paid over $400 with the shipping and the protection plan and all of that and the tax it arrived broke. Contacted customer support. They gave me a gift card for the exact amount of the purchase price of the product that doesn’t cover shipping. It didn’t cover tax and it wouldn’t cover the protection plan went back-and-forth with customer service Ultimately, they gave me another credit $26 to cover taxes or whatever it still wasn’t enough. So I try to use this gift card that they give me and it keeps telling me that the payment isn’t accepted so instead of buying a brand new never opened set I try the open box set because it was $100 cheaper and the card should cover it at that point, but it tells me that it won’t accept the payment over and over and over. It won’t accept the payment. To try a different payment method the payment method they suggest using his credit and debit card which is what I picked it’s still not working so now my son has a broken drum set that I paid over $400 for."
"basically i couldn"t figure out if the unit was new, used, refurbished, etc. there were multiple listings for the same unit, some new some open box, and the prices didn't make sense as the one i received was cheaper than the open box one. the unit i received did seem to be sealed but the box looked like it had been roughly used and looked nasty. not sure if this seller deals with clearance or new ld stock, but so far the unit seems to work"
"Google Pay and PayPal are my checkout tools of choice and I usually don't have any issues. For reasons I can't understand, it took me 15 minutes and at least 4-5 attempts to actually complete checkout on this site. Worse, all the churn of trying to get through their checkout flow caused me to accidentally order two of the item (not a particularly inexpensive one either) so now I'm on the hook for that bill until I can return it.
Support was mildly helpful but their response was basically that "it shipped, so we can't do anything until you ship it back". Will shipping it back actually be easy? Who knows. If it's anything like the checkout flow and support experience, not optimistic. I hope they prove me wrong.
Be very careful during checkout here and triple check your card if you run into errors. "

"Tracking was all over the place, showing delivered then returned to origin then back out for delivery. Showed delivery attempt made then sent back to origin. Any time I called the shipping with tracking info they stated it never had my address associated with the tracking info. Was not allowed to update shipping info through shipping co, so contacted ProAudioStar multiple times through email and phone. They never responded to email. They answered the phone and said it would be rerouted but never was. Had to open a dispute with my credit card company to get my money refunded. ProAudioStar never responded to my credit card co or to me. Buyer be ware. If the price seems to good to be true it probably is. Lesson learned. "
