"I understand that in a pre-order I'm not going to get a product exactly when I want it. However, when I contact customer service, I at least demand, and expect the truth, so at the very least, I can make informed decisions. In a nutshell I ordered a motherboard a week ago, in which the release date is the 7/16. On this date, I politely asked through chat, if stock came in and what is the reasonable amount of time, I should expect my order to be fulfilled. They replied that they receive 300, and that it took a day to check it into stock, and to contact them the next day if I don't see an email that my order has been filled. So I wait a day, and thus I contact them today (17th), with the same inquiry, and CS replied, "We didn't receive any stock." So I asked, then why have I been lied to, at which they replied they are sorry for the understanding. I said, it's not understanding, it's intentional misinformation, the message was clear, and it was false. After multiple attempts to claim it was a "misunderstanding", and not admitting to the lie, she then said, "It's possible that stock did come in, and that all pre-orders for that stock was fulfilled, and that it went out-of-stock before your order was filled." umm.. which one is it? Why there stock or not? Why backtrack your lie, with another lie? What's the point of lying. So I told her that there's "not point in lying, and that if you told the truth, and stock hadn't truly come in, then I would have cancelled and purchased another motherboard in stock. But since you chose to keep this deception up, not only am I cancelling my pre-order, I'm taking all future commerce elsewhere." They basically responded by saying "Sorry for the MISUNDERSTANDING". LOL, even after all that, they won't admit they lied."

I had messed up by not reading the return policy, it was a replace only, and when Drew G got on the chat they supported me and fully refunded my purchase even though I was the one to mess up. "I was first granted a refund on a item that normally isnt eligible for store credit, I was then able to purchase an item of equal or greater value(in this case greater) with cash out of pocket and have that initial store credit refund transferred back to its original payment once the claim was completed so I wouldn't miss out on an opportunity on a brand new item. I'm very grateful as many companies wouldn't have such great customer service!"
