"Ordered a computer monitor. FedEx claimed to have delivered it but my building has zero record it ever arrived. After an initially slow claims process, and some non-answers from fedex and Newegg the second time I called I got connected to a Newegg rep named Danny, who really took top notch initiative and personally in one day got the claim against fedex approved and also managed to get me overnight shipping with signature service (so fedex didn’t drop the ball again). "Ordered a $2,400 65" Samsung TV on Wednesday, received it damaged the Friday after next... Horrible shipping experience with AIT the ONLY way Newegg ships large items. Items get passed through too many hands and even though the problems are obvious, nothing has been done to fix it. I don't see how Newegg can even make money if they just waste peoples time using this company to ship and have to refund all the money they would have made anyway.
Either way, you're asking for trouble and a bad experience if you order large items from Newegg. Don't do it, not worth it."

"Talked to a guy named Cid over the phone about a lost PSU, SSD, and RAM. Was initially going to do a charge back, but after talking with him I agreed to just have NewEgg ship the same item again and file a claim on the lost package. Cid was very calm and understanding the whole time about the issue. (Give him a raise if you can)
"Newegg is pretty much perfect. Not because they always get everything 100% on time, but because they do it 99% of the time, and the 1% of the time something bad happens, they fix it.
I ordered a power strip, which never came. I logged onto the site, texted customer support. Got a refund, though I wanted a replacement product. Two days later, when it was obvious I was not getting a replacement, I texted again, got an apology and a free power strip shipped. All over text, without sitting on hold or answering automated systems. This is how customer service should be!"

"I have purchased countless items from NewEgg over the years, and I have never had any issues with any item, the delivery, service, or any other part of the purchase/ownership experience. I want to share my most recent experience, where I did have to contact customer support. I had purchased a refurbished laptop in July for my daughter to take to college as her first laptop. It was a great deal. (I had shopped around and only found the same one for $70 more or higher, which is about 13% more than NewEgg's price.) I was fully aware that part of the deal with getting a refurbished one is that you cannot return it, except to replace it. 8 months later, my daughter thought it was stolen. I bought a new one to replace the first one, and then we found the first one. I chatted with a wonderful agent, Natalie, and requested that NewEgg make an exception to the written policy and allow me to return my laptop as as special case with rare circumstances. She took my request to her supervisor and quickly approved the return. Go, NewEgg! Thanks so much!"
