Pleasant AND Efficient!!

"I have worked with many companies and in logistics mistakes happen. In this instance there was an issue with actual inventory of a product. I was told by the Marketplace Seller that out of the two displays I ordered, only one was in stock so they would issue a refund. The next day I received an email from Newegg that my credit card was charged for both items. But when I got on the phone with Becky at Newegg, and she took care of everything! Not only was she pleasant to talk to, she put me on hold and by the time she got back on the phone she had reached out to the Marketplace Seller to confirm the situation, gotten the process started on my refund, gotten me updated information on when the product would be shipped and filed an email thread to keep the line of communication open to make sure that all these steps will be carried out. I have NEVER encountered a support call where they were that efficient in one full swoop! MAJOR kudos to Becky, you do a wonderful job!"

Amazing Customer Service via SMS

"I had paid for expedited shipping for a next day delivery as per the shipping options. However, the item was not delivered the next day. I contacted customer service via text messaging, spoke with Lily in California. She refunded the expedited shipping charges and explained that per the NewEgg policy and additional day could be added.

While I believe that such a practice is VERY misleading I still wish to credit Customer Service, specifically Lily, for outstanding service.

Customer Service that "just works"

"I recently ordered a laptop from Newegg, sold by Lenovo. The price dropped the next day. After back and forth, Lenovo recommended returning and reordering to get the price difference, but Renee in Newegg customer service understood that was crazy and so she made things right. I'll absolutely order from Newegg again knowing they have my back."

"I ordered computer parts a week ago. Shipping label was created quickly but it has stayed in waiting to be shipped status for 5 days. Not sure why and terrible at communicating updates. They charged my account quickly. I will not use this vendor in the future. "

Excellent costumer focused service

"I called costumer service to do an exchange on an item that exceeded 30-day return policy. I explained that the item was still unopened in its package. And they courteously allowed me to return the package and get refunded.
Naturally, i used that refund to make an even larger purchase on Newegg. Honestly, this kind of costumer service is the type that inspire costumer loyalty. It felt great using that refund to buy and even more expensive upgrade with Newegg.

Always willing to help

"Competitive prices are always great, but if the company selling them doesn't give a crap about the people it's selling to, prices Don't much matter. The few issues I've had have been dealt with respect and efficiency not seen in many brick and mortar stores. I've been using this company for almost 20 years, and don't intend to stop anytime soon. In an industry mostly driven by profits, it's good to still see a company that cares. Keep it up."

Newegg took my money. Customer service horrible.

"I paid for PC memory on Newegg. Newegg never shipped me the item. I contacted customer service for either a refund or a replacement item to be shipped.
Customer service refused telling me I would have to wait 7-10 business days to figure out what they messed up.
I requested to speak to a supervisor and I was refused.
I requested an immediate refund and I was refused.
I requested them to just ship me the item again and I was refused.
What is the point of having customer service if they just refuse any requests?

Buyer beware - guaranteed two-day shipping is not guaranteed

"Ordered memory and paid nearly $50 for "guaranteed two-day shipping" and Newegg's site stated it would arrive by Friday 8/2. Tracking now says Monday, 8/5. And live chat says, "order processing time is 1-3 business days". The lady apoligized for any inconvenience... Then, she said, "order processing time is 1-3 business days" and said I could file a claim if I want.

If the site did not say guaranteed delivery by 8/2, I'd be fine. I could have made the decision to wait or not order it. But to guarantee it by a certain date and then tell me I'm wrong? Never again.

Shipping nightmare

"Ordered RAM and a refurbished PC (tower) early on a Monday morning. Paid extra for Thursday delivery. It's Saturday and I'm still waiting for the PC. Tracking says it's not even in my city yet. I live in the 9th largest city in the USA. Called customer service. They were very kind and refunded the extra shipping charge I paid. But that doesn't change the fact that it's a shipping nightmare and a broken promise. Doubt I'll be using newegg in the future."
