"Attempted to purchase an old refurbished macbook pro and they wouldn't ship the order until I called THEM. Every time I called them the wait was >1 hour and I didn't have the time in my day to wait that long. No option to get a call. No option to verify online.
How can a business think it's okay to make a customer wait and go through so much effort after dropping >$1K on one of their products? Absolute garbage.
Updated this to 2 stars only because a service rep called me after writing this review to help with my issue. Sadly he wasn't able to help and it's still sad that only when I wrote a negative review did they finally contact me (rather than when I spend $1,000 on a computer). "

"I recently purchased an Acer Predator x34 that was retailed for $799.99. A few days later, the price dropped down to $749.99 and another additional subscriber coupon for $50 off, which would total to $100 off. I called NewEgg customer service, and the 1st lady that I have spoken to could only offer me the $50 price match guarantee and not the promotional coupon. So I thought to myself "Well, I am a premium member and can always return what I have for a full refund of $799.99, and get the one that's on sale for $699.99". Which I also mentioned to the first lady, but she could only grant me the $50 price match guarantee item.
If I were to get the one on sale for $699.99 and return the one I have for a full refund of $799.99, not to mention the shipping cost on their part, and re-selling what I currently have for a lower price as "refurbished or open box item". That's when Becky L. Lopez stepped in on my 2nd call (30 minutes later) to the Customer Service, she was very helpful, polite, and very patient. Becky, was able to grant me the $100 difference without a problem (unlike the 1st lady I spoke on the phone). "
"Had to RMA my motherboard because of a defect. Customer service rep was able to send me an “advanced” replacement so that I wouldn’t have to take the partly working motherboard out of my computer and be without a computer for a week. A++ service, will only use Newegg in the future."

"I ordered a $300 or so product from the site one evening and had some life circumstances force me to cancel the order the next day. Newegg had already generated a shipping label so they had to handle it like an RMA instead of a normal cancellation.
Despite this order being a total loss and a complicated mess besides, Vida L. (my rep) and Newegg did a great job helping me utilize their automated system where possible and performing manual intervention where it wasn't. This is consistent with every other experience I've had with the company and I will definitely continue to do business with them. "
"I’ve been buying from Newegg for over 5 years now. I’ve bought many, upon many computer parts. Cases, power supplies, RAM, CPU’s, GPU’s, etc., I’ve bought it all.
I finally ran into a problem outside of Newegg where my package hadn’t been delivered, prior to me ordering it over two weeks ago. So I called Fedex and USPS, and they both told me that they couldn’t find the package because it was in transit. So I contacted Newegg and they gave me the solution right off the bat. No edge-cutting, nothing. They told me they’d file a claim and that they would give me a full refund if USPS/Fedex can’t find my package.

What they failed to say is they submitted a request that will take over 72 hours to then contact the shipper. TV I ordered a week and a half ago is still not here and I missed Sundays kickoff. "
