"Recently received a large order from Newegg (**). About $2700.00 worth of PC hardware. The items were packed very tightly in one large box. The lid was sticking up, but it was obvious the lid was forced down and taped shut. There was no packing material whatsoever. As a result, several of the boxes were bent and crushed. When I started unpacking the boxes, I noticed that some of the items were wet with a chemical smell. The Windows 10 media packages were very wet and one motherboard box was very wet on the top. It smelled like some type of cleaner.
Luckily, all of the parts worked, but I had to explain to the business who hired me to build the computers why the boxes were wet and damaged. I contacted NewEgg via chat on 1-24-20. The support person asked me to send pictures to email address followup@Newegg.com. I sent three photos later the same day (1-24-20). I never heard back from Neweggg and have sent two additional emails. As of 1-29-20 (afternoon), I have not received a response. Finally, "Louis" responded and asked the same questions over and over one time a day for about a week. Nothing but "I apologize" "

"NewEgg, wow. They lost my $1000 package and then wouldn’t replace it or give credit for it, since they said it was over $500. They gave me the run around, said I had to deal with the police (when the F****** package was delivered to someone else (“Carrier/NewEgg issue”) not a police matter) Now I am out $1000. Their customer support team is total trash, accusing and blatantly disrespectful, (when you can actually get ahold of them.) Their products are good, but so are Amazons, which is where I’m taking all of my high priced business from now on. Only thing that would change this review is for them to replace what THEY lost, so don’t message me NewEgg unless you’re going to replace it."
"Pro Advice: All orders should have standard shipping in them. You will receive them faster than if you select three-day shipping.
An order placed on the 8th was confirmed for delivery on the 14th. They cited weekends and working calendar days. Somehow, this applies to UPS as well? With no accommodation presented or offered, I requested an RMA. They stated the refund wouldn't be put in effect until a week or two AFTER they receive the item back. I asked to escalate this to their shift supervisor and was told they have no leadership on weekends. I don't know of any company operating under normal working hours without supervision, but that's what I was told. When you're literally in competition with Amazon Prime for the cost of a 3day shipping, this response was a poor response from NewEgg. I've been a customer for years without issue and their response today was disheartening and a disappointment."
"Whenever you buy a refurbished product, there is always the risk that you will end up with a lemon. Not necessarily the fault of the reseller, just really the risk you take when buying secondhand product. I recently purchased a very affordably priced refurbished laptop through Newegg (EPC). Three months in, the laptop randomly broke. Newegg (EPC) could not have handled it better. They were very responsive and, ultimately, I was able to keep my hard drive and was sent a replacement laptop within the week. Now, I'm up and running again with minimal inconvenience on my end. I am so happy that I chose to buy this laptop through EPC via Newegg!
Given this does depend on the vendor at the other end of the purchase. In my case it was EPC. They rock!"

He listened to my frustration and was very prompt and professional. At the end of the call I was a happy customer.

"I recently purchased GiftCards through a marketplace of over $1,000 in credits. I made the purchase and my account was suspended right away for verification issues. A week later, I asked for an update and my account couldn't be unlocked. Including the loss of my Newegg Points and my account of a valued customer for a couple of years, I lost hundreds of dollars on the gift cards. I asked and chatted with no avail. The giftcard balances were not going to be returned to me and no information was disclosed to me due to "Security Reasons". Instead they suggested I make a new account and repurchase the items TO MY OWN ACCORD after being out of $1,000 in gift cards. I'm beyond **** and angry with not only the support, but the Webstore as a whole. I'll be deferring anyone from using Newegg from now on and will continue to give bad ratings."
"Had a problem with activating a few product keys for a couple games that came with my PC parts about a month ago give or take but the gentleman and sorry if I misspell his name , Raz , and he's been a joy to work with in giving me some ideas on how to go about it first and went beyond my need. Couldn't called AMD at the time since they were closed so sent an email to them with photos of the problem and surprisingly didn't wait that long since they got back with me quickly the next day by email and everything started working after doing the Validation Tool again.
Really appreciate both AMD but also more so to Raz for helping me out so much with my problem and because of his willingness to go so far to help me with something so small not only shows me but proves to me why I always shop at Newegg now and forever if they have representatives working for Newegg at their customer service center !. "I had to call in today because there was an Issue with the UPS shipping address. After waiting for an agent the issue was corrected quickly and efficiently. The agent was understanding and reassuring. I appreciate everything that they helped with. This is not my first experience with Newegg Customer service every time I contact them I am satisfied with the end result.
