"I have had difficulties in placing on line orders recently. Placing items in the shopping cart is sometimes a challenge when ordering from some of the sales emails. When I place one item in the cart and want to select additional items I often can't go directly back to the page I'm ordering from. And sometimes when I get back to the site, the first item is no longer in the cart. Then when I go to finalize my order, it won't let proceed without entering a mobile phone number. You already have a phone number (land line) for me and I do not give out my cell phone number. I have ordered for years from Acme without having to provide a second phone number. IT should make sure that final step to place an order goes on easily. The last time I called customer service for help on this problem, I got no help. Basically I was told to try changing browsers or redoing the order - basically that is a waste of my time. On a previous order I was so frustrated with this, I bought the item on Amazon - nice and easy."
"I am disappointed that Acme misrepresented this heater (#F242300 MrHeater) as made in USA, when it is actually made in China. On the Mr Heater website, they do not specify its country of origin, which of course means China. If I bought it from anyone else, it would still be made in China, but I wouldn't be misled. Acme did have the best price and product in stock, so I cannot complain with respect to your competitive position.

"I've found myself buying more and more stuff from Acme Tools. Great selection, even better prices and at first I was hesitant to buy from them because of the extremely long distance, they're in the Dakotas and I'm in S.Florida but as it turns out their turn around time from ( me ) ordering and (them) shipping is so fast that I actually receive the order faster than when I order something from the east coast. "Ordered some nice bar clamps (and some other items) that were shipped incredibly quickly. One small part was damaged in shipping (clearly not the fault of Acme), but all it took was one email to Acme Tools and within a few hours they responded with a solution to send a replacement piece, which then arrived a few days later. This type of direct customer response and service is wonderful and increasingly rare. "
