"It's 4am, & this is the only invoice # that I have in the shop. I have ordered from P2U 12-15 times. ALWAYS great Pkg'n.Comes in about a week. REAL cheap $&h.Some order-takers may be related to "air heads", but where can U hire ALL good people these days? "I was sorry to see this supplier go out of business if that's what indeed happened. I attempted to place an order as usual by loggin onto their site, but was redirected. It was only after I did a google search and found this site that they were apparently purchased by TigerDirect. I liked the quick efficient order form you entered when going to their site. The prices were always reasonable and they will be missed by me. I had come to rely on them for my needs as a first source. Which brings up the point; why did they go under? I hope to see them re emerge in some form so that the team can continue to supply my needs. I always got everything in a timely fashion and the quality was on par with other suppliers I've used and perhaps a little better. Packing was always good. In short they seemed an honest bunch. "I was happy to find they did not go our of business. They are reopening January as www.tigersuplus.com I saw the website was down and called them at ***-***-****. I have used them several times and could not be happier. Each package to me has been timely, and because the prices are so low, like a Christmas present. Ordered two motherboards from this company. One went bad within 2 weeks the other would not support the processor it claimed to support. Sent both back, both received by package2you, but still no refund or replacement. I was promised that a refund would be issued by early this week. It is now Friday evening (12/20) and still no refund. Now it appears their website has disappeared and all emails are being returned undeliverable.
I called Tigerdirect.com as an earlier comment stated that Package2you had changed to Tigerdirect. This is not the case according to the representative I spoke with at Tigerdirect.
I would suggest staying away from Package2you.com at all costs. That is if they even exist any longer.

Update 12/21/02:
I was contacted by Tony, owner of Tigersurplus (not Tigerdirect), almost immediately after posting my comments here. Though they weren't showing up at the time, he assured me that my account had been credited for both motherboards. As of this morning one HAD appeared on my bank statement and based on this, I'm confident the second one will follow shortly.
Overall, it's a shame it took this long to get the issue resolved, but at least it did get resolved.
Though I still can't say I'm 100% confident in the company, I will say my opinion of them has improved significantly. Hopefully, future customers will be kept more well-informed when problems arise and problems will be handled in a more timely fashion.

"Unfortunately, every once in a while a shipper loses a package. It is at that time that you learn the calibre of people you are actually dealing with when you order products. When Fed Ex delivered my motherboard to somewhere besides to my apartment---to be signed for by someone named "porch" no less---I was pretty upset. I called Dee and Pam at tigerdirect.com (formerly Package2you.com) and they took care of the situation in a quick, timely, friendly, and professional manner. I was so pleased I also subsequently purchased a power supply from them. My computer is up and running on schedule thanks to their efforts. They are not just good people; they are terrific people---and I will be referring my friends to them and ordering from them again as well."

Called Dee at the company, who was very proffessional in her questioning of me, and who said she would send the two small packages of thermal grease right out to me, and wished me a happy holliday season. "My order arrived but one item was defective. I asked for and rec'd a return authorization and send the part back on Oct 22nd. Since then I've sent several e-mails & rec'd confirmation that the package arrived but the part has not come (this is Dec 15th). I've not heard from this company since Nov 22nd when, again, they told me my package would be processed. "We had ordered two seperate motherboards from this company; one simply would not post, and the other couldn't get past post (first was an older Soyo mobo, second was an Asus A7VL-VM); Asus tech support confirmed need for RMA. First board's RMA refund came SIX WEEKS after it was PROMISED (note, not after we sent the board in, but after the board was RECEIVED by package2you), 2nd refund, to my knowledge, STILL had not been credited. Got tech support from Wayne, who seemed knowledgeable and very willing to engage in good customer service, but horrible quality of RMA service overshadowed it all. All in all, HORRIBLY dissatisfied."
