"Bought a motherboard and cpu. It turns out that the cpu failed during installation and the motherboard bios would not accept a cpu that ran above 8.5 MHz-the cpu I purchased ran at 1GHz. The vendor didn't know abot the bios incompatablity and I was totally confused. I shipped both items back to the vendor.
Package2you technical support (Wayne)handled the problem professionally and was able to isolate the failure and mb bios problem. The mb and a replacement cpu is being sent back to me.
To avoid further complications package2you updated the mb bios so that the cpu would work.
I appreciate the effort put forth by package2you to resolve these problems but would hope in the future that complex items such as mb are screened more throughly."
"This company shipped me a DOA video card (A Geforce4 Ti4600, to be specific). Then, since they ran out of stock, they couldn't ship me a replacement. THAT I understand. What I do not understand is that their return policy page clearly states:
"In the event a replacement is not available, a refund will be given, or an equivalent or better model will be provided."
However, they refuse to give me a refund (quoting some extremely fine print hidden on the item's page itself, despite the site-wide return policy), and refuse to provide an equivalent or better model, despite their policy.
I'm thankful I bought this item with American Express, I may need their big guns to help extract some honesty from package2you.com, the ultimate fine-print "it's not my policy" bureaucrats."

"hey, this outfit is great! Specifically one Wayne Schultz in customer support!!! I got cable. I bought a cable modem. I caught unshirted hades from my wife & daughter for not letting em play too. Sooo, I went to pricewatch.com & ordered a refurbished Netgear RT311 Gateway Router. When I couldn't make it work, I called Netgear(had a miserable time with them previously over an RM356) & they told me that since it was refurbished, they would only provide e-mail support. So, I called Wayne. He dealt with several issues(mt isp, connectivity, etc.,) then he called Netgear. He then called me back & got my router up & running. I am very grateful. People like him give the computer industry a good name. Oh yeah, next time I have to buy parts I will give these guys special consideration due to their diligence."

"Bought 5 items of which 3 didn't work. I mated the Abit PIII Mother board to a Celeron II 600 MHZ(Coppermine), bought two brand new cases and wouldn't work. Got a MB from another supplier which worked on the first try, then the CD-ROM I got from Package2you wouldn't work. Same experience bought another one from another supplier then it worked fine. After sending the items they claim they tested and worked fine, so I had to eat their 15% restock fee. Not a good thing, won't order from them again."

"This was my first purchase from them, an ABIT motherboard. I am still a bit of an amateur in building systems. "I came across Package2You while searching for low-priced 200MHz MMX CPU for an older computer that I was wanting to upgrade. Their prices were very competitive and most times very cheap. Before I made my order out I conversed with them by email a couple times to insure that the CPU in question was the exact one I needed & wanted. They were very prompt in their replies and quite helpful. I placed my order on 10-18 for the CPU, thermal grease, and heatsink/fan, and received the package in excellent condition & packaging promptly on Monday morning. I installed the products and everything worked fine.
I work on computers on the side, repairing & upgrading older systems as well as custom building new ones, and am always in search of good wholesale-or low-priced resellers to purchase my products. I have ordered several motherboards & CPUs in the past from a varied list of resellers, that were either damaged or in a non-working condition upon arrival. I am still stuck with 3 new motherboards I bought last fall, after being out almost $300 with that company. The boards were inoperable & non-repairable. So, I shop around quite often and constantly looking for a newer alternative for certain products. I would recommend Package2You to anyone looking for low-priced quality products & good customer service. Jeff, Wayne, & Bo were all very helpful and prompt in their replies. I intend on buying again from them when I am in a search for a product they have in stock.

"Well my experience with this company started off bad. Their email confermation is horrible. I put the order in at about 3am, and i called the next morning at about 10am after reading their review on this website to cancel my order, and mysteriously my order had already shipped out. Which was fine. But the problem i ran into this evening is that the motherboard was DOA. The condition listed on the website says "new", yet the box looks like it was sitting in someone's garage for a few years and was stepped on a few times. The cd was opened and scratched. And the IDE/floppy cables were also opened. This wouldnt bother me besides the fact that the motherboard just sits there after you power it on. I tried multiple known working processors and not a damn thing works in it. I've got customers waiting on their systems and i cannot have them waiting around because of a mistake made by this company. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND ANYONE PURCHASING FROM THESE PEOPLE. I cant wait to call them tommorow morning."
