"This is the second time I have ordered from Package2you. The first time, after seeing their prices I decided to order a mother board and processor to build my first cpu from scratch. I'm not a tech but figured with these prices I couldn,t get hurt if it didn't work. I am so bad that I had to rely on Bo in sales to tell me what processor fit what board. The system is a 1 gig and working great.

This order was for a refurb 2.2 hp cpu that came with no software or drivers. This system gave me a fit! I could not find the drivers for the mother board its self and without them the system bus would not run. Finnaly after pulling my hair out, Jeff and Jeremy in package2you's support were able to convince me to upgrade from win98 to 2000. Guess what! It worked. They then helped me find drivers for the PCI cards that windows didn't recognize.

These people are used to shipping to techs and computer stores. For them to take the time to help an amateur like me meant a lot.

Yes I will shop there again if they are willing to put up with me.

By the way, I have not encluded my E-mail address but will be glad to communicate with anyone by phone if they think I am affiliated with Package2you in any way other than a satisfied customer. Package2you has my permission to give out my office number until I tell not to.

"I have had very good luck with this company. Sometimes a bit slow but compared to other on line sellers they are quick. I also had a bad mother board and returned it for a replacment. When they did not have the replacement I was notified in about a week and was given the option to wait for another board or a refund. I took the refund. Could have been faster but many other companies never follow up. It did take 2 1/2 weeks to complete this process. Most of which was in transit time back an forth I would think. I will and have purchased other items without any problems. The people in sales are polite and very helpful. Tech support is to the point but did what I needed done. "

"Another DOA motherboard. Bunch of lies to stall everything. Their strategy is that you finally give up and keep the junk they send you, fed up to return at your expense. Most positive ratings seem to come from Package2you employees. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!
edit: Funny! The comment from ltlCobraJet looks more like a reply than a legitimate comment, otherwise he wouldn't have wrote " I also had a bad ...." ( emphasis on the word "also"). Please, potential buyers, read all the comments on all pages and then draw a conclusion... LtlCobraJet posting, most likely, has the sole purpose of boosting the rating. "Sep 3, I purchased a Gigabyte Motherboard. Received defective. After many phone calls I returned board for credit on Sept 16. Since they were out of stock, they agreed to issue a credit. Credit was never issued. Called them many times till finally on Oct 3 they said they had issued the credit and it was the C/C company that was slow in their posting. That was just another lie and on Oct 12 to my suprise, I received from them an Acorp board that did not work in my application. Oct 14, I called them again cause I have paid all freight to date. They promised to call back that same day. You guessed it, no call back. Oct 15 (this morning) I call them and they say they can't have the package picked up, I am on my own and that there is nothing more they can do for me. Fortunately by then I knew they were liars and prior to calling Package2you I had called the C/C company which agreed to remove the charge from my statement. I now had the upper hand and where they could not have the package picked up before, suddenly they can. Funny how it goes sometimes. Their strategy seems to be to let things run long enough so the C/C company can't help you anymore, not call you back, and eventually leave you hanging. It has cost me phone calls and freight but I learned my lesson. Hope you don't have to. I will update this posting once they pick up the board (if this was not another one of their lies),
edit..All of a sudden, I am getting attention. The president called. He did not offer to reimburse my expenses but informed me that since I initiated a "charge back" with the C/C company, other suppliers may not want to sell to me anymore. Hmmmmm. I doubt it. It got me thinking and I read the profile of all the positive responses on this page. Generally, this was their first and only posting. You may notice that they usually do not refer to a specific order but just praise the company. Ask yourself what got them to post suddenly after placing many orders for which they did not post. Do they only buy from Package2you? No positive or negative post for any other suppliers!!!!!!!They seem to have another purpose. BEWARE

"I've ordered several times and have gotten very good service, prices, and merchandise. They're ordering process is the easiest and best I've seen. And yes, I've even ordered a few other things I didn't need because I saw it at a very good price. I've ordered using ground shipping and have always recieved my items within a week after ordering. I just recently had to email them to return a faulty motherboard last night and they got back to me early this morning. My emails to them today were replied within the hour, and they were all very cordial. Bottom line, I'd do business with them again without hesitation or fear of DOA packages."

"Shopping at Package2you is like going to a 'first-Saturday' computer flea market without having to wait or getting up early. It's a great place to buy PC peripherals. Like me, you may end up spending money on things you don't need! There are many bargains to be had. Most (not all) prices are the lowest you can find anywhere. Shipping charges are reasonable too. Tech support answers my emails within 24 hours. I'd definitely purchase from package2you again... although I try not to do it too often."

"I ordered 2 16MB Hitachi Multi Media Card (MMC) Cards from Package2you as they were the lowest priced vendor that I could find. After (stupid I know) placing my order I checked out reseller ratings, and I was a little skeptical as it seemed hit or miss with them. I chose their 2 Day shipping. I am happy to report that I recieved my cards as advertised & were recognized by my Pioneer CDJ-1000's immediately. The only bad thing I can say is, they charged me $5.99 for shipping, which I felt was kind of high as the combined weight is less than a quarter! But actually taking into account tracking & insurance it's probably very close. Will do buisiness with again."

"We bought several items including a USB HD interface.

This order started badly when they misrepresented the shipping as being "2-day". They actually shipped by USPS Priority mail which has NO guaranteed delivery.

When we did receive the order, the USB HD interface was defective. We obtained an RMA after several attemps and a week. Package2you acknowledged receiving the return but after three weeks they still have not processed the return. Our emails have been ignored and I am taking action with the credit card company.

"The issue is as follows, and now I wish I had read the second pages reviews. I ordered a dual Socket 370 motherboard for a SOHO network server. And after reading these reviews I'm lead to believe that the employee's of the company are encouraged to give rave reviews. I'm hoping I'm wrong and the motherboard will eventually be delivered but as it stands right now not even the tracking # seems to be valid."

"put order in and a week later still not shipped..tried emailing them and got answer that" the items are in the shipping dept waiting to be shipped"I tried emailing again no answer back???Also on order before this i ordered a NEW floppy drive....they sent me an old used coffee stained drive and when i sent them email about it they never responded.....

Well i finally called them on the phone......seemed they had a flood in texas and they were involved in it.......they straightened out the order and sent it.....seemed like nice people to deal with.
If they would have just emailed me explaining the trouble i wouldn't have been upset........but not getting any good reason why the order hadn't shipped had me conserned

"My complaint letter to them (no replies yet):

Hi.

A review of my problem (have contacted you many times before):

I bought a modem card from package2you.com.
The invoice is attached below.
Your "credit card fraud system" changed my shipping address to my billing address because i was shipping to a different state from that of my credit card.
I called your customer service.
Your supervisor told me to ask my landlord in Pittsburgh,PA (billing address) to reject the package. (ie. the package will be return to your affice as undeliverable.)
I did.
You have not received the package after 2 weeks.
I do not know why.
No one has been helping me except to tell me to wait.
I find this service unacceptable.
There seems to be no one who is willing to take responsiblity for the outdated credit card fraud system.
Amazon.com allows shipping to a different state from the billing address.
In fact, your company seems unique in doing so.
I needed a new card to be sent to Berkeley,CA (billing address) by today. Else, the card would be useless to me.
I intended to give the card to my overseas friend. It's too late now.
I hope the company will refund me the money.
Please pass this on to the relevant authorities.
Please cc your forward to me too.
Please reply to tell me about the steps taken to resolve this problem.
