"I agreed on a price for my phone and was notified that payment was made via Direct Deposit 3/12/21. I waited 7 days and had not received pay. I notified Declutter via my account with them and a customer rep sent an email to me claiming payment was made. I contacted my bank and was told there was no payment and nothing pending via Direct Deposit. I talked to Amelia R. with Declutter 3/22/21. She said it shows paid. I told her I have not been paid. I asked her to verify account and routing numbers in order to ensure they had correct information. She told me that such information is sensitive, thus she does not have the complete info, but I could take a screenshot of my bank statement and send it to her and they will resend the payment. I questioned why I should do this if my information is so sensitive that she does not have it. I went into my personal Declutter account and retyped bank info. Amelia then told me that she sent the payment and I should have it either today or a few days from now. There is nothing pending in my account.
I am disappointed with Declutter. I told them to either pay me the agreed price or return my phone. Now it appears I will have neither request fulfilled. I have been taken advantage of by this company and I will NEVER do business with them again. I also plan on filing a few more complaints to address this matter. "

"Ordered a phone, set it up, and find out it was defective upon receipt (fingerprint reader not working and back cover was separating). Chatted with CS. Reset phone. Got the label and returned. CS said they would fix and return. The phone arrives back at Decluttr. BUT instead they just took the phone back and claimed "I am terribly sorry that we could not repair the fault or offer a suitable replacement" and gave a refund. HOWEVER, I saw and mentioned to CS that there is the EXACT phone listed on website for sale for $20 MORE now. They refused to ship the same replacement phone! Claimed "I am terribly sorry, we are unable to re-initiate orders." What do you mean I already ordered it! You should give me a coupon because you SCREWED up. SO INSTEAD after sending me a defective phone and wasting my time setting it up only to find the problems and then sending it back they want me to try the whole ordeal again and pay $20 more for the privilege of doing so? ^&%@ you!"

"Looking up trade-in prices is very easy, although it gets very monotonous when trying to look up prices for more than a dozen items. It is also nice that trading in DVD/Bluray discs and books at the same time is possible. I do wish that the trade-in prices were a little higher and that the minimum total trade-in price requirement was lower that $5, but at least shipping is free. Anime stuff provides surprisingly high rates when trading in though.
I gave up trying to sell my stuff on Ebay and Amazon, but Decluttr is an alright alternative."
