"Do not know why everyone is having trouble with yesbuy.
I have purchased over 500 dvds from yesbuy and have not had a single one fail to burn (except the ones I screwed up). I am burning with a Toshiba 2x and an NEC 8x. I am using SKY 2x DVDs (silver top and purple bottom)
$48.00 per 100. Have never paid any shipping charges. Just ordered 500 a few days ago.
Note: they will not work in my panasonic DVD recorder for my TV , can copy movies.

"All the DVDs media 1X that I bought with them come with a small crack in the center of the disk, what turns it dangerous because I recorded about eight without noticing and one of them have broken in use. Then I decided to check the 4X DVDs I bought previously with them and they
were also split. I sent two emails to them without answer. These are the guys we don´t whant to do business anymore!!!

"Bought 25pack of 4x dvd-r w/free ground shipping for $16. They arrived in about a week. Waisted 2 discs because I needed to flash update dvd burner. Ever Since I flashed updated, they have worked great, burned very well. I would recommend this company if you are tech savy enough to make sure your dvd burner is updated."

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR!
I purchased 100 princo 4x DVD-R media. They sent me the 2x media instead. Almost half of the blanks have crack by the inside hole. I emailed them to request either a refund of cross shipment of another 100 4x DVD-R. They simply ignored any form of communication even if you prove them wrong. They will not fix the problem. Help yourself, do not buy from them. Try supermediastore.com, they have a much better resellerrating.

"I wrote to there customer service email 5 minutes after placing my order and asked to cancel my order. They responded quickly and said they would. This was on Oct. 27, today they charged my credit card(Nov. 7th). Needless to say, im not happy with them. My first attempts at contacting them failed because the email address of the contact I had (****@****)suddenly didn't exsist. So I have proceeded to email their general ****@****. Have not heard anything back from them yet. I also tried calling their 800 number and got an answering machine that gave no indication that it was a business. So beware, this company is very shady. I better get my money back."

"I ordered 200 cd's and 200 cases. The total price was about $60 but they wanted $25 just to ship at their cheapest rate. If I remember correctly their over-night rate was about $80 (1/3 MORE than the entire purchase). I decided, against my better judgement, to make the purchase anyways. The CD's showed up just fine, but about 40 of the 200 cases were broken. The cases were not broken in shipping either because the outer box when received at our office had no damage but the box inside that was banged up on 2 of the corners. They seem to offer deceptively low prices for their products (I wouldn't be surprised if they bought them at a discount as damaged from other suppliers) but they make up their money on their over-inflated shipping charges. I spoke to someone there and they said they would send out new cases (I have my doubts since they refused to give me an order or confirmation number for this). I will re-rate them if they actually follow through on this, if I don't write back then they dropped the ball."

"9/11/03:
Have previously bought from them 10 princo 4x dvd-r's and 10 dvd cases. 9/10 dvd-r's burned perfectlly and 5/10 cases were good quality. The other 5 dvd cases were made of poor quality. But because of the low price and previous buying and burning experience, I decided to purchase 100 dvd-r's (princo 4x) and 100 dvd cases. Once received, I was happy with the cases. All 100 were one kind (not like the previous order where they sent me 2 kinds/brands of dvd cases). So the DVD cases were of good quality. But the Dvd-r's aren't. It says, it burns at 4x but they take over 30 min to burn a single dvd-r with about 90 min of home video on it. So far, 2/5 have 'failed' while burning when only getting 1% into the process. Complete waste of dvd-r. To make it annoying, now I have 2 DVD cases that have no dvd's to put in. Also, on the first order, they charged me twice but I got a refund for that.
9/12/03:
I would like to add that I have burned about 10 DVD's so far and about 1 of every 2 DVD turn out to be bad and cannot burn. Nero will start the burn process and get about 1-2%, which is the lead-in, and it will say process failed. But when I insert a new DVD-R in, it burns fine. CRAPPY DVD-R's!
I just looked at all of the DVD-R's I bought and they are cracked in the middle! I'm returning these and getting a refund!

"Where do I start, first ordered 100 DVD+R which on the website said was in stock. Paid 20 dollars for shipping (funny how they say they have LOW SHIPPING costs). Did not receive email for over 2 weeks, when I called the rude lady said they were out of stock. So I said well lets substitude, she rushed me off the phone and sent DVD-R which doesn't work for me. These folks do have the lowest prices even considering the jack up in shipping, however the sacrifice in customer service is great, prepare to wait at least a few weeks to receive anything from them. It really is a pity I've placed two orders with these people now each of which took over 2 weeks to receive, although they have low low prices I will never use www.yesbuy.net again."

"I had a great experience. Yesbuy had the Princo media I wanted (Yep, I wanted it. Some people actually like the stuff!) in stock, at a great price, and with free shipping. Free shipping didn't show up at checkout, but without any action on my part they followed through and deducted it properly off the invoice. Discs arrived perfectly and have burned wonderfully. "Dissatisfied!
Only 40 miles away, surely they couldn't mess up this simple little order for 25 Printco DVD-Rs. Placed online Tuesday and followed up with a call Wednesday."In stock" I was told & my order was going out that Day with tracking# and confirming e-mail. I NEVER got it. The order should have ARRIVED yesterday or today ,at the very latest and now it's Friday evening at 4:30pm and I called to track my order. At first they said it will go out today and then when I got very angry, they said it went out at 2pm and they would send the e-mail/tracking# immediately. . I finally got the e-mail with tracking#, only to see that they CHARGED MY CARD $9.27 for shipping that was advirtised as FREE when I ordered.These people have clearly earned their VERY LOW 3.16 Reseller rating. Great prices to attract your order, BUT VERY POOR shipping & customer service. If they had a WILL CALL, I would have driven there in person to pick it up and avoid this hassel. IF I'm lucky, I'll see my order on Monday, however, only DESPERATION could ever let me buy from them again. TERRIBLE experience.

"RE: 1x DVD-R media
First order 100 "White topped" Princo. Took a little time to receive them, but I do have a life you know. So waiting a couple of weeks was no biggie. Arrived just fine, but the manufacturing was not great, @10% damaged or imperfect. But not YesBuy's fault.
Although it stated on the web site that the shipping charge would be removed when they emailed the confirmation, it was still there. I tried to email the company many times, but that was fruitless.
However, the shipping invoice that came with the product, and most important, my credit card, was not charged shipping.
My last order was for 200 "Purple topped". Armed with the knowledge of my first order, I just waited.
This one came in much faster, within a week. No shipping charged, just as advertised. Although I am still working on the original 100 white topped and have only used about 10 Purple topped, the purple topped have had no defected disks yet.

"Ordered 25 dvd-r and 10 dvd-rw. Website indicated free shipping for orders over 25. When I received the order, I only received 10 of each (they shorted me 15 dvd-r discs) even though they billed me for all 35 disks. A $10.21 shipping charge was added. Called their office with no response. Sent an e-mail with no response. Called again and an operator took a message - and I got no response. Also having problems with the discs themselves - 4 of the DVD-r disks have failed verification with read errors."
