"Odered 25pack princo cds. 4 business days later, they bill my credit card. 5 business days later they respond with shipping details only after 4 emails and threatening to bill back through credit card. Completely unprofessional. How could anyone be happy with this level of service?"

"From what I had seen on this site I was expecting a long ship time and was ok with that.
It actually arrived Apr1st and was originaly ordered on March28th. I used residential UPS ground and live only 1 state away.

The product itself was packaged ok. It wasn't delecate so didn't really need great packaging. The product got there in new condition, there was a little mark on 1 item.
The quality of the cd packages are pretty good, the pvc one SUCKS. the portfolio and tweed looking cd cases are good.

"My credit card was declined to start with, which left me a little off kilter. Well, until I realized that I gave YesBuy my wrong expiration date. After that everything ran smooth. The order came a little damaged, but that was due to handling of the package by the carrier. I will order again once I run out of these 400 CDR's :)"

"Well,

An Update. I recieved my order finally and guess what? Not the Princo 2x I ordered, but some defective house brand media. You can see right through it in dim lighting. Very little substrate, but I tried 2 anyway. DVD-R that burned them cannot read them after burning. Total junk.
I emailed the company two days ago, but no response. I will try to call them using the number on their site, but if they are no help I will call my credit card company, charge back and file a complaint with the BBB Internet services division.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

"Could not beleive the lack of communication from this company. They charge my credit card a few days after I ordered, but didn't ship for over a week and a half. They never responded to any inquiries about the status of my order."

"The company took 9 days to ship my order, and failed to respond to any of four e-mails that I sent between the time that I placed my order and the time it was finally shipped. Despite my attempt to cancel my order on March 7, YesBuy.net charged my credit card on that same date and then waited until March 12 to actually ship the product."

"Yesbuy.net doesnt seem to care about it service rateing. They will take your order and charge your credit card and the not tell you what you ordered is back ordered. Its wasnt back ordered when I ordered it and it wasnt back ordered when they took my money then how can it be back ordered when its time to ship. They are very slow to repond with emails"

"2/18/2003 Placed online order via pricewatch for CDR's.
Received email confirmation same day.

2/27/2003 Received order.
Packing slip referred to company Promedia Computer Supplies (instead of YesBuy.net.
Although the email confirmation confirmed that I bought CDR's rated at 48x, the packing slip did not confirm.
However, 12 of 18 of the CDR's only write at 24x, while the rest (6) write at 48x (as rated).
The CDR's are silver with no identifying marks to indicate speed. Packaged in generic corregated boxes of 100 each.
3/11/2003 Update:
I have gone through almost 50 of the '48x' disks, but the majority of the disks will only write at 24x. The ones that do allow me to write at 48 have errors and are mostly unusuable.
3-13-2003 Update:
Shipped back 300 (of 400) CDR's after being transferred to several support rep's. One rep. even said that the disk were rated "up to 48x" writing speed. Eventually, they agreed to give me an RMA and pickup up 300 disks (I opened 1 of the 100 packs already).
3-17-2003 Returned package received by Promedia (UPS web site).
3-28-2003 partial credit applied to my credit card.
I am still stuck with the 100 opened disks that (according to Promedia) are "rated up to 48x", but mostly only work at 24x. Since I have a 48x CDRW, the purchase was very disappointing.

"On the 2nd of December 2002 I placed an order for 100 black cds along with a 100 cd cakebox. My order was never fulfilled and I was never charged. Thank god that I was never charged cause from what I have read I dont think i would want to have to deal with their customer (or lack of) service. Suffice it to say I will never do business with them again."

"This company (which is also known as promedia-usa.com, so avoid them also) will screw up your order and then completely refuse to fix it even when you can prove their mistakes. And this is after you spent days having them ignore your emails and then have to pay for a long-distance call (no toll-free) to finally get a response which is outright unprofessional. These people make it abundantly clear that they they don't care if they made mistakes and they care even less about their customers. I have never seen a merchant treat customers so bad even when they know that its their fault. I would suggest that all the others who have posted or just read this that were treated similarly take 5 minutes to call your credit card company and tell them you want to file a "merchant complaint" - this is different from a dispute. Each year when a merchant comes up for renewal with visa, mastercard, amex, etc. if their account has several complaints, they won't get renewed."

"These folks have the worst customer service of any company I've dealt with. They don't respond and if they do, the play dumb like they don't understand what you are talking about. My order was supposed to have free shipping, they charged me and wouldn't remove the charge."

"Very slow shippment,

the order shipped one week after it was placed.
When i opened the merchandise was a 1X speed and not a 2X (i was charged for 2X).

"I ordered a 50 pack of dvd-r media in December and recieved my order confirmation. A couple of days later I received an email from the company with an attachment that my computer couldn't open. I wrote to their customer service and what did I get for a response? NADA, ZIP, Nothing! I have written them three times already and NOBODY has replied. I am sick of trying with this company. I will Never Ever order from them again. BTW I still haven't received my order or any confirmation that it even went through."
