I understand your company's policy with shipping address matching with the card company, but i took care of it after the first call i received from tufshop and kept getting called back from people that didnt make any sense. took too long to ship out my order.

"Ok everything was great on the first order... the second one they tried to stick me with two oem versions of the motherboards i was buying AND were trying to stick me with the retail versions of the amd2600 chips... am VERY unhappy with thier service. Who has oem motherboards with retail chips? What is the point? No drivers, no cables no nothing... when all the other companies at this price range are offering retail versions of the motherboard. Of course they didnt tell me this until i was two days into the order... so I have to again start the order process over for this order and wait another two days before it even gets going... would not and will not do business with them again. And this coupon thing they offered is a scam... I attempted to use the code to get my next order at cost... savings = ZERO."

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!This company is a major hassle to order from. First if you want to ship to a different address other than billing you have to register with your credit card company and then call Tufshop and tell them you registered. Then when you call their number, which isn't toll-free by the way, they try to upsell you on things at a higher price than the full price on their website. Then they have to verify your credit card through an automatic system before they can ship you your order. If the automatic verifaction doesn't work you have to get on a three way phone call with your bank and explain it to them. The end result is After 12 emails and four phone calls i canceled my order, and took my business elsewhere."

"your company is extremely slow and does not have anyone to properly handle calls.also i paid for urgent shipping which meant that my order should have been shipped within 1-2 days,but instead it took almost 2 fulls weeks to have it shipped.i am seriously comsidering filing a complaint to the better business bureau and sending a response to pricewatch.com to let them know how my purchase was handled.again i wish to say i have never been more upset with a company than i am with yours.

"An update to my post listed on the 24th of October 2003.

I received a reply from Steve when I sent a direct e-mail to them indicating my concern that my card has been charged and my order cancelled. He stated that my card has in fact not been charged, that the money was put in "Escrow" and they have not taken the money so the amount would be refunded back to the card within 7 days after a holding period of 72 hours. Well, it's now the 30th and I spoke to my Credit Card provider and they inform me that the card has in fact been charged and the monies can not be returned to me until my next billing cycle happens and I file a dispute.

It's been my misfortune to associate myself with this company and all I can say is, if you are looking to buy computer products, look somewhere else. Don't make the same mistake I did.

The lowest price CDRW that I could find, turned out to be no bargain at all. I have a lot of work ahead of me to straighten out my dealings with this company.

"What can I say.. just a horrible experience all the way around. I received an email after the order went through saying there was something wrong with the order. I called and what do you know.. A Sales Pitch To Get Me To Upgrade! I purchased a motherboard combo which was recieved with processor still in its retail box. I buy computer parts online all the time and have never ordered a an mboard combo that came disassembled. Anyway, installed the processor and attached the power supply and I get nothing. Tech support and sales is an Indian guy who mumbles a bit and then hangs up if you are persistent in trying to get help. The standard answer is I'll call you back in 2 minutes. Don't expect a call. The worst online company I have ever dealt with and I have dealt with many. BE CAREFUL!!"

"I received my "order" today. The wrong processor was shipped (Celeron instead of Pentium4)with no fan or heat sink paste. This was the upgrade package! The memory board was just laying in the box with no wrapping or static protection. And I was charged for Pre testing! Now I can't get in touch with anyone. Is the company a joke? "

"Orders take a long time to process. As of 10/20/03 it is still being processed.

The person I spoke with could barely speak English.

I ordered from them before and the order was cancelled. I sent an email and I got a return email from them stating a possible spam email was received from and never heard anything as to why the order was cancelled. I thought I would give them another chance but after the second bad experience I won't go back to them.

"Paid extra for bench testing. Motherboard came still sealed in factory anti-static bag. Called customer service and was told that it was tested. When asked how they test a MoBo without breaking the factory seal on the bag and was told they put the seal on the bag. Very suspicious and very unbelievable. Was told that if anything didn't work, they would refund the testing fee. Hmmm! Not very happy with my first and probably last encounter with TUFShop.com"

" I wish I had read the reviews on this company before ordering from them.Now I hope to keep other readers from making the same mistake that I did.
I ordered a M/B CPU combo on 10/08/03 the next day I recieved a call from a fellow with very poor English who was impossible to understand wanting me to upgrade my order and to allow them to test the parts for XXX$.I declined the offer.Two days later I recieved an email stating that there was a problem with my CC ccv2#
and they wanted me to contact them to to setup a threeway conference with my bank.
All of this suprised me as as the same time I had placed an order with New egg with no ccv2 problems and had already recieved my parts.I emailed Tufshop for a clarification and recieved a nonsensicle auto-response.Meanwhile I noticed that the amount of the purchase was deducted from my bank account.
BTW they said my order would be cancelled if I did not contact them in 48 hours.Today I noticrd the the money has been restored to my acount so I assume that my order is cancelled.
It was all wasted time and now concern over the security of my CC #.The parts were meant for a system I am building for my Mother and now I have to find the needed parts elsewhere.
