"I've had nothing but troubles with the PCChips board and the manager Neal has been great to work with. Unfortunately the RMA department has been less than helpful. I bought my first board under order 310607 and it was missing the converter. After several emails I finally called and someone sent me the converter right away, but I was missing the heatsink connectors needed for the converter so that took another couple of weeks. Then it still wouldn't work which is when I talked to Neal and he sent me a new board/converter (this order). I still had problems. I'm thinking it's RAM compatibility at this point, but I've tried various DDR and SDRAM Kingston chips with no luck. I'm finally getting smart and ordering an Asus board, but the RMA folks are giving me a hard time about returning the first board because it's been over 30 days. It took me over 30 days just to get all the parts that I ordered."

"Tufshop.com has CVV2 / AVS verification for your credit/debit card orders. This is the first place I've seen an online retailer use it and I must say, it doesn't seem like it's required at all. All it does is distance you from your order by adding 3-5 days to the total time it will take you to get your order. I've ordered from all kinds of places with my credit card before without problem. This is just ridiculous."

When I recieved the order they forgot the ship the case and the thermal paste. I called to complain, when I called I was greeted by someone answering 'hello'. After being passed around a couple of times, they told me to fill out the RMA form. When filling out the form, it didn't make any sense, how do I RMA products I didn't receive.

I proceeded to email my experience to the 'sales' and 'management' aliases using their web form. I received a call within 30 minutes of my submission and the missing pieces of my order arrived within two business days.

Overall I would recommend Tufshop, the hardware works great, the prices are good, and they are willing to deal with problems in a timely manner when they arise. If you do have problem with Tufshop use web/email, don't call the number on the website. "

"Had low price on Pricewatch for a DVD ROM. When I placed an order they tried to sell an extended warrenty which I refused they then cancelled the order claiming credit card problems. I have used the same credit card for hundreds of other internet transactions with no problems. A week later I reordered with the same result. Have low price but won't deal if you don't buy the extended warrenty."

"I placed an order for an AMD 2000+ cpu and mb combo, was called back a couple of days later an informed that that order had been known to have defects and asked if I would upgrade to the 2100+ processor they inturn would upgrade free of charge the mb and cooling fan. I got the package 7 days later. Not the 3 to 5 days later that was stated. The package was smashed but the contents were fine except nothing was upgraded except the cpu. It took me all of 8 phone calls 7 emails and more hasle then worth my time to get everything right. I could go more into the situation but that would just make my blood boil and pieve me off caussing a heart attack so I am ending my comments now."

"I came across this company via Price Watch, after finding their incredibly low price for an Athlon XP 2100 and mobo combo ($73). Even after reading through some of the horror stories on ResellerRatings.com, I decided the price was too good to pass up.

So I placed my first order - navigated through the options, unchecking everything to make sure I got the advertised price. After placing the order, I get an e-mail (in poor English), stating that a piece of my credit card info was not correct. For my 'security', they couldn't tell me what piece was incorrect. They instructed me to check my receipt and make sure everything looked alright and if there was a problem, to reply to their e-mail with the correction. I noticed I'd given them my daytime # (as they asked), which is not the same number for my credit card. So I e-mailed them this correction.

The following day, I have two e-mails: one saying my order had been cancelled, another one thanking me for my corrections, but unfortunately, my order had already been cancelled and I should try again.

So I tried again. Every piece of info I gave was correct, I double- and triple-checked to be sure. But I received the same e-mails, saying first that a piece of my info was incorrect and another cancelling my order.

Bottom line? They advertise a really low price on Price Watch to get you there, but then they make it impossible for you to get the advertised price, unless you purchase their overpriced options or warranties, which in the end, would negate any savings you'd ever get.

So - ignore their advertised price because you're not going to get it. You're much better off ordering from an established company."

"Never buy from this company. I ordered motherboard/cpu combo 7 days ago and called to get tracking number. Rep said he would call back. Never heard from him. I call him the next day, and he wants to call me back again. I tell him I need the tracking number now. Turns out it hasnt even shipped yet. I told him to cancel the order and he says he cant do that b/c its in final processing or somthing. Now I have to call my credit card company and cancel the charges. Never buy from these ppl. "

"Originally I was happy with this company but after ordering from them once they sent me an email saying that if I filled out a survey that I would "get [my] next order at cost".

Of course, they did NOT keep up their end of the bargain and when my next order went to the billing department the at-cost coupon code was stripped off with no explanation.

I have bought other computer hardware from you in the past so you were one of the first places I thought of when I needed to upgrade a computer at work. Previously, I received my products fairly soon. Approximately 7 days from order to receipt, even with being a new customer. This time I was not so lucky. I placed my order on October 20th and did not receive it until the 5th of November. 16 days seems like a long time to me. Maybe it was because I had the processor installed into the motherboard and whatever "tech" work performed. I thought this was a good idea that would impress my employer by making sure all the components worked before receiving them. What I liked the most was the fact that you sent me several emails updating me on the status of my order. That is a great idea. The only thing that would keep me from ordering from you again is the fact that the package shipped normal UPS ground took so long to get here (Indiana) from California. Over a week I think. "I wish I also would have checked here before I attempted to purchase from these guys. I had the same experience as several other ratters. They took my order called the first working day. I had to make a long distance call back.Tried to sell me another warranty. I said no they insisted. I told them to cancel my order if they did not want to do business. 2nd time I tried to order from them last time it was the bad cvv # scheme. These guys are bad news as you can tell from the rateings I am going to all the rating areas and warn everybody, so they will either get with it or go out of business. P.S. these folks do not speak English very well so you may purchase something just by talking to them."
