"I was shopping around for 220v items to be used in Spain, I just got recently transferred there. My wife was hunting for the best deal online for 220v items. we called several stores and compared prices at last we nailed down to SAMSTORES. They had excellent options and shipping options, and all my equations and queries were answered on time. Also I saved a lot on shipping as well as on products. And I ordered all the items from Samstores.

"My whole family is overseas for Military services.
We are a proud Americans
And from last 9 years I am sending my family gifts and essential goods they require overseas. It is not possible sometimes to get 220 volts item in local stores here, Also shipping to APO and FPO address very few of them do. So I am being using samstores.com to send them what they need. From Coffe makers to unlock Cell phones and some times some heavy Voltage Transformers . I can just share my experience. These guys are awesome. They have some time gone out of the way and got my stuff delivered. Sometime when the items where damaged. They send my replacement right away. In last 20 to 25 items I ordered with them. All of them came on time . I really like this store. They have been my source to make my family smile.God bless them. God bless America.

"THE WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD
Don’t even think about dealing with them! They’re lying, untrustworthy, rude and always late. And they pretend to be right. Their products often don’t work properly and their policy is made only to protect them self and to allow them to cheat you.
I ordered a cell phone that was supposed to be unlocked and I got a locked one. After a few calls they told me to send it back, assuring me that they would send me a new one and they would refund me also for the shipping charges. I sent it back. I got the new phone and it didn’t work properly. I called them again and they told me to send it back again, assuring me that they would refund me both for the phone and for all the shipping charges. I’ve never been refunded! And I was really in a hurry because I was leaving the country, I called them many times and they always promised me to be on time, but they never were. I almost missed a flight because of their delay. And I’ve never been refunded for the time I lost with them and for the dozens of calls I had to make.
For a few months they kept assuring me that I would have been refunded for all the expenses and the phone (it wasn’t my fault at all that I got 2 broken phones). Only 3 months later I finally spoke with Peter, the worst guy there. He was really rude and he accused me to lye. Unfortunately all the promises I got from them were made at the phone, I don’t have anything written down. They’re so good in such kind of things! They know how to cheat you avoiding the law!
At the very end I got a GPS navigator from them because they didn’t want to give me my money back, even if they promised me to do that before I ordered the first phone (otherwise I wouldn’t ever bought the phone, and they knew that). But they didn’t refund me for the shipping charges (to get the phones and the GPS, and to send them back), even if their products were bad working so it was their fault and not mine.
I lived in the US for 3 years and I bought a lot of stuff. I had terrific experiences with everyone I dealt with, except the Samstores guys. They represent the worst American experience I had! I strongly hope that everybody shall avoid to buy anything more from them, so they will not have the chance to cheat someone else like they did with me.

"ok i ordered 2 smart phones for my daughters in Houstan TX, and i dont know what all the bad reviews are about. When i placed the order through the phone i could tell they were busy but they still had patience with me as i tried to pick out a phone. We finally came to a decision and i placed the order. My daughters received both phones on time and i was extremely satisfied thinking that the shipment might get delayed. I will definetely come back to buy more phone."

"I have been a member of this samstores from last 10 years to buy 220 volts appliances. We live in Detroit Area and visited them 3 to 4 times to see what they have. These guys where very warm and pleasant. I always end by buying online due tax break and cheap shipping they offer me. Most of the items I ordered are delivered at my door step. Recently we ordered a microwave which was damaged in transit by UPS. Samstores shipped be another one in no time. The different between a good and bad company for me is after sales service what they offer. There is very few 220 volts appliances company in USA and among all they have the best price and services
So far Samstores has been up to the mark. But reading some of their negative reviews concerned me. I have dealt with these guys and I know they have Brand new products high quality products made for 220 volts appliances. So far my cousins and Family members in Ghana has ordered from them directly and there was no complains

"IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT NO ONE DOES ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS ORGANIZATION. We dealt with the World Wide Voltage web site which is supposed to be a subsidiary of Sam Stores (which is actually Sam Electronics, Inc.)

We ordered a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 from this store because we could reach a real person "Dinash." The product was approximately $70 more than the competition, however, sine we could reach a person and get our questions answered we ordered from them. We have ordered many unlocked GSM communications devices and they have always worked right out of the box with our SIM cards. Keep in mind that the Sam Stores' (listed as Sam Electronics, Inc.) local Better Business Bureau (BBB) has them listed with an A+ rating -- evidently those complaining on this site have not taken the opportunity to report this to the Chicago area Better Business Bureau.

Dinash clearly stated that we could use our existing T-mobile SIM card in the unit.

When we receive the unit and carefully followed all of the instructions having charged the battery as instructed, found that the unit was not connecting to T-mobile. AFter four hours on the lines with T-mobile technical support, T-mobile ascertained that the unit would not connect to their network and referred us to the manufacturer, Samsung. The manufacturer could not locate the country of destination for the product (that they derive from the units serial number) to direct us to the correct support organization for this specfic unit.

We contacted Sam Store for help, however, during a continuing run around offered us a couple of pieces of advice for things that we had already tried and were already proven unhelpful for resolving the T=mobile connection problem.

The RMA link was non-existant on the World Wide Voltage site so that we used the one from the Sam Stores web site. They would never issue an RMA number, so we have returned the unit with the last 4 digits of the invoice. It cost us $47 to ship back the unit.

We have filed a complaint with their local BBB.

Their response is as random as their business outlook: citing that we are not located in the US (even though the product was shipped to a US address) and other arm waving to avoid coming to a resolution to make the transaction right and accept a defective returned unit for refund.

My Brother gave me there information. 3 years back he bought lots of 240 volts appliances from them, when he moved to Africa.
We did some market research and got to know they had the best price. We placed the order and got the email confirmation within 1 hour and all our Shipment came within 5 days.Also there tech knowledge about the products was amazing.

"BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM SAMSTORES.COM!!!! These guys are a bunch of rude scammers. I purchased what was listed as a factory reconditioned LG Dryer. Upon arrival, it did not work. They would not return it or fix it after numerous phone calls and emails. The ONLY time they ever contacted me, they flat out lied and told me someone from LG would be calling me to arrange repairs. That never happened. In fact, when I contacted LG directly, I was told that neither Samstores, nor the company that actually shipped the product, GCR Corp., were authorized to sell LG products. I also discovered that the serial number had been removed from the machine, so LG was unable to provide any warranty service. I can think of only one reason a serial number would be removed. I wonder who they stole it from? Read their replies to some of the bad reviews. They call their customers liars and are completely unprofessional. I knew from my first phone call to them that I had been had. No more "Scamstores" for me thank you. **An update after months of fighting with these guys. They know exactly what to do to work the system and rip you off. My credit card company won't honor my dispute unless I return the dryer at my cost. Samstores will not refund their shipping charges, so I am out at least $240.00 with nothing to show for it, and they lose nothing. There should be some way to stop scammers like these guys. What a racquet! *** "
