When you need to return something, this is when you find out WHO you are dealing with! I thought I needed an entire Drive Shaft and was told I only needed the Boots (My Mistake). I called RockAuto and all I was told to do was sent it back in the original box and give them the tracking number. I sent it back on the 30th of July and less than 10 days later I see the Credit on my Account! No Muss and no Fuss! "I ordered brake pads, rotors, balljoints, stabilizer bar links, and an axle from RockAuto, in preparation for redoing most of my front end.
The parts arrived quickly, but unfortunately the axle was damaged in shipping. I was quite bummed. As the axle was so heavy, i was going to lose any monetary benefit from ordering online vs local when I shipped the part back.

When I told RockAuto about the damage, and emailed photo's of the peened over collar, they immediately told me they were shipping out a replacement part, at no charge to me, and did not require me to ship them the damaged part back. WOW!
I still had to wait a few extra days for the part, but knowing that they were so willing to fix any problems left me quite impressed, especially as they weren't the cause for the issue anyway. ( i blame fedex)
