"I've seen MacMall/PCMall catalogs a few times before, even gone to their website a fews times.

This is my first, and LAST order with them. I ordered two IP35Pro motherboards from them on a great deal. Well, they sent me the lower end version (IP35). I called up, and they said that it was a mistake in their ordering system, and they won't have the IP35 Pro's in stock for over two weeks. They pushed for me to keep the regular IP35's, lying that they are basically the same motherboard (WRONG!!!).

You have to call up their "tech-support" phone number (1-***-***-****) and leave a voice message for someone to call you back, which never happens.
I finally yelled at a guy at their regular number, and he spent 10 minutes trying to hook me up with a guy that can help me. SHESH....then, that guy put me on hold! I spent 45 MINUTES!!!! on the phone waiting for an RMA. They asked if I wanted to pay for the shipping back, or wait for a UPS label. Uh...let me think.....its your mistake, YOU pay for the shipper back!

Anyways, after 3 days of frustration, I'm going back to my other online retailers that are easy to deal with if a mistake happens (newegg.com for one!)

"Very Dissatisfied. Placed order May 22. Received email May 23 that the product was on Back Order. At the time of order, and on May 23 their website still said it was in stock. It's now June 7 and I cancelled the order since (by phone) they still say its on Backorder and their date keeps getting pushed further out. If they didn't have it in stock, their system shouldn't have been telling customers that it was in stock."

"PC Mall has been calling for many months - various salespeople, asking for names in the organization - literally hounding us. I finally decided to give them a chance. They'll only get one, for life. I will never, NEVER, buy anything from them again, period. Their prices were universally higher than other places I can buy from. But, I usually want the assurance of great customer service, and in that they failed miserably. Granted, I was buying PC system components, and I've learned that the "big" shops don't cater to that well. Some of the items failed, and PC mall outright refused to do a return. On even some of the unopened items, finally agreed to do an RMA, but it's been a week "waiting for approval" three levels of management higher. Why buy from here, when competitors have better prices and better service (I'll name NewEgg for example). For direct competition in PC Mall's niche, Zones is far superior, even CDW.
I've asked for these "managers" names - no response as of now.
You have been warned.
November 2010: Hasn't changed, over THREE YEARS of this now, they're STILL calling, a new salesperson every few months. Requesting "do not call" doesn't last.

"I ordered a SATA floppy drive kit with cables and bezels with next day shipping. I received only the floppy drive. PCMall is not able to send the parts needed to install this drive, sent me on a wild goose chase to HP which did not solve the problem, and disconnected my call to customer service without speaking to me. I will never do business with PCMall again."

"I placed an order for a monitor on Thursday, 3/8. I called first to make sure it was in stock, and ordered over the phone. I was repeatedly assured that the monitor was in stock and would ship that day or the next. The monitor still had not shipped on Monday, 3/12, so I called again and was assured that it would ship that day. On Tuesday 3/13 they canceled my order, claiming that the monitor was not in stock. This is my first negative review. I will not order from PCMall again."

"I ordered a burner for my new Laptop. All went well and they emailed me and gave me the total price with shipping of $278.78. This amount was charged to my credit card and they indicated it was in stock. The next day I get a fraud alert from my Mastercard provider and they say that now PCMALL has tried to charge an additional $296.91 to my account. I told them to refuse this charge and they did. I asked how they would suspect that is fraud and they said that this vendor has a istory and they have flagged the computer to warn them about multiple charges.

This place is SLEEZY! I spent over an hour on the phone and the trasfer you over and over until you get hung up on.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE SCAMMING NEW YORKER. I wish I would have checked reseller ratings before I got involved with them. BEWARE they are theives!!!!

"PC Mall is a merchant on amazon.com, and i bought it through amazon.com.
I bought a gel mouse pad, and they had the cheapest price. The mouse pad came very fast, less than a week for standard shipping. They used FedEx and packaged it well.
I didn't see any problems.
Good prices, promised quality, speedy.
I didn't utilize customer service.

"Bought a X2gen 17" LCD monitor with a $99 rebate. X2gen, through their rebate processor would not honor the rebate. Used PC Mall's email contact system to no avail. Would not respond to multiple attempts to contact. I view them, X2gen, and rebatesystems as nothing more than coconspirators intent on cheating the customer out of their money. How they stay in business, I do not know."

"They cancelled my order without for no apparent reason and never told me about it. I received the confrimation email saying my order would ship that day. I called a week later to find out when it had shipped and they tried to tell me that I had cancelled the order! They screwed up and thenlied about it and then offered to sell me the same items at a much higher price than before!

Dishonest and disorganized. I would not buy from them again. They do not communicate or take responsibility for their mistakes.

"Excellent customer service. My representative Majed was fantastic. I purchased a SONY 32 inch XBR flat screen and was terrified of a bungled order. "I wanted to PCMall for your sales person, Natalie. Amazon fouled up my order for this camera, promising to ship it for Friday, but not (and then shipping it later when I'd cancelled it, but that's another issue). Natalie was not only friendly and helpful, but she sent me over to your security department right away to make sure that there were no credit card delays in getting it shipped out for Saturday delivery. I've got my camera and am pleased with both it and PCMall's service."

"I tried to return my purchase. The customer service department informed me that they do not take returns. When I informed them that their website says they do, I was told that I was reading the website wrong. When I quoted the website text, I was told the website must have a typo, they don't take returns. I have now contacted my state's attorney general's office to assist me in placing my return."
