"This seller sucks! Never ever trust this seller. They oversold things which they did not have in stock at all. They cheated customers by showing the items shipping soon. However, after a few days, they made the cancellation without any apologies!"

"Never ever deal with this company again. They include: PCMall, MacMall, Onsale at Amazon, or maybe more. They cancelled the order after 4 days and no apologies. Called CSR but was told there was nothing they could do. PCMall sucks."

"After careful reconsideration, I am lowering my rating because of the classic bait and switch. Saying they had a product and not having it. They did deliver it and I received decent customer service but I paid for two day shipping which took almost a week and I still paid tax and two day shipping. Some good aspects of the company because they all were polite and calm but all-in-all, they deceived me and for that I can't render an excellent rating."

"This store did a classic bait and switch on me back in Dec. 2009. Ordered a hard drive which was confirmed in stock over the phone. In fact the phone rep stated that it was such a good deal he was going to get one himself. Well, he and the rest of the company as one month later after asking what was up with my order, was told it was out of stock. That week was emailed an ad from them for the same item at 50% higher cost. Meanwhile, lost out on a similar deal from another store.

Be wary of their "specials."

"Purchased an HP Workstation. Best price I could find online. They had it in stock and shipped it immediately. I actually received it several days before expected. The only issue was they quoted me a price (over the phone) including shipping but did not quote sales tax that was added to the order. If requesting a quote, keep in mind they add sales tax. But the sales rep I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend and buy from PC Mall again."

"Order placed October 25th (a Sunday). Paid for overnight shipping to receive order quickly. Monday came and went - order status listed as "pending". Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - still listed as "pending". Wrote email to ****@**** on November 1st (Sunday) - 7 days after order was placed.

On Monday, November 2nd my order was STILL listed as "pending" - an order that I had paid $30 to be shipped overnight.

Later that day I received a reply from Marie, a "team lead" employee. She stated that the items were not in stock. I asked when they would be in stock so that my order could be fulfilled. She informed me that she did not know. I asked for specific clarification and she stated that she had ZERO estimated availability.

Once again, I asked for clarification on the matter. I pointed out that I had paid for overnight shipping, and she was telling me that she had NO idea when the items would be available to ship. It had already been a week.

PCMall accepted my order, left my order in a "pending" state for an entire week with ZERO correspondence or communication, and still cannot tell me when my order could ship, for which they charged me $30 overnight shipping.

At this point I have no idea when my order will arrive. It may be tomorrow, it may be in a week, it may be in a month, it may be never according to the information that Maria has provided me. And I was charged $30 for that privilege.

At this point my order still remains in status "pending", and Maria has stopped replying to my emails. This is apparently the level of customer service that can be expected.

"This merchant should be found guilty of deceptive pricing. Ordered an external hard drive for $139.99 (advertised as $99.99 after $40 mail in rebates). Got to the order confirmation page and item was listed as $79.99 after $60 in rebates. Called to inquire and was informed that the additional $20 in rebates did not exist AND they were charging me sales tax (after confirming my order without).

Customer service is next to useless and they blatantly lie about their pricing. Avoid these guys like the plague and go with a reputable merchant like Newegg.

"Tried to order an open-box item (ASUS Eee PC). My billing address is in Canada, but I gave US shipping address. Was asked multiple times to submit photocopies of bills, credit cards, IDs etc. The whole verification took 2 days. I was assured that the item will be held until the clearing process is finished. Despite that, the item was gone, and I had to cancel the order. "

"Ordered item (Nikon slr kit). No warning about long backorder. Comfirmation email had no info on item being backordered. 5 weeks later could not get time when item would be delivered. Called twice, got answer: next week. After talking to supervisor, he confirmed they did not have item for over 3 months and he did not know when it will be available. Canceled order, lost 5 weeks. Stay away."

"I attempted for a month to purchase an Oracle database from this incompetent offshore outfit. First, the listed "5-user" license became a 1 user license. Then, multiple sales reps went through days and days of having no clue of how to actually get the license, having me call Oracle, etc. They had absolutely no clue what the product was. After that, the price from the website went up a total of $150. Then they said they might have a real price in a week. Fed up with the multiple bait-and-switches and complete incompetence, I gave up and canceled the order. Can they handle selling an iPod? I don't know, but they can't handle anything more complex."

"BAIT & SWITCH OR ...?
OnSale.com, I assume it is the same company as PC Mall, Mac Mall and Club Mac. They all have the same item numbers and same web design. Matter of fact,the billing and email are from PC Mall.

If it would have happened with a local retail store, definitely it will be considered as bait & switch by the A.G. Office, Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs.

Act I: The Bait
On 10/19/07, I ordered a Samsung HLT5087S for $1,030 including shipping with OnSale.com. It is a about $300 less than the lowest price I saw any where.

Act II: The Problem
On 10/22/07, OnSale.com stated that "we currently don’t have an update of when we are be getting the item from the
manufacturer. It might take another 2 weeks to get an update from them." But all four web sites still continue listing the same item as in stock and will ship next business day.

Act III: The Switch
On 11/5/07, I received a telephone call from OnSale.com advising me that they still do not have an expected delivery date from Samsung to their central warehouse. Furthermore, in order for me to purchase this item at $1,030. It must be ship from their central warehouse. OnSale.com will keep me update of the situation.
NOW, HERE COMES THE SWITCH - OnSale.com will ship me the TV from their affiliate/assoicate's warehouse( PC Mall? Mac Mall? Club Mac ? or who ever their associates are?) for $1,495 plus shipping.

Well, I declined their offer, told them I would wait. Mostly likely, I will not be getting my TV. Who's to know when or if OnSale.com have stocks in their central warehouse to ship.

Update:
Just as I've expected that the order will be canceled by Onsale.com. On 11/7/07, I was advised by PC Mall/Onsale.com that Samsung will no longer ship to their central warehouse. Therefore, they have to cancel my order. That is such B.S.! How can Samsung not be shipping to PC Mall/Onsale.com, whose stock is being trade on NASDAQ.

"I ordered SB Digital Connector on 9/5 for same day shipping sign on it. And I got the Email said that shipped on 9/7 with more charges. They had to charge me local sale tax even though the package is coming from PA to GA. It did not show at the purchase invoice and they changed the invoice amount and charge it without my authorization. No proper explanation. No customer service rep gave me clear answer. They charging sales tax on the shipping charge too.
