"This company is incredibly disappointing. I placed an order on June 17, 2010 for an Intuos Stylus pen. It was processed same day but it wasn't until June 24, 2010 a week after I placed the order that something had gone wrong. They needed an additional $4.99 for shipping on top of the $4.99 I initially paid. The company's promise to their customers located http://www.futurepowerpc.com/scripts/aboutus.asp

Our belief is that "Hidden Charges" lead to a bad reputation. That is why you will never encounter any unexpected fees when you use our website. During Checkout, please note how easily you can view all available shipping options before entering any personal information! It clearly and concisely displays all costs associated with the fulfillment of your order; guaranteeing you will always be informed of your exact shipping total before you order

After many many calls and emails to ****@**** they offered to waive the additional 4.99 and send the item by the 28th. This did not happen. Matter of fact they didn't even process the shipment from june 24, 2010 until the day it was supposed to arrive. I still have no stylus to do work 2 weeks after I initially ordered the item. This company is a scam and I do not recommend it to anyone.

"I ordered two small items from this company on a friday. On Tuesday I received a call stating that one item was out of stock even though it still showed in stock on their website. When I called them back they were very rude and told me that they did have the items in stock but they needed another $15 on top of the shipping price that I paid on the order to ship them to me. I canceled the order and ordered elsewhere. Beware of some shady tactics here."

"I ordered a high-end gaming laptop for my business from FuturePowerPC (FuturePowerPC.com). No one else had them in-stock, but their website said they did. When I called them, they said they had none, but were getting a delivery in a few days. I ordered and paid and then waited patiently. 10 days later, I received 2 calls, back to back, while I was in a meeting with a client. I let them go to voicemail. An hour or so later, I got the calls: The first said that they had a shipment of the laptops, but I needed to confirm that I still wanted one. The next call said that I was "all set" and that it would "ship on Monday" (it was Friday). I called them back anyway to make sure that my version of "all set" matched theirs. They were extremely rude and told me that I lost my place in line when they could not reach me. I asked why I needed to confirm an order that I did not cancel and had provided a credit card for and they told me that "sometimes people don't want to follow-through". I asked about the voicemail that said I was all set, and he checked my ordered and verified that my laptop was sold to someone else, but that I could get back in line and wait until they got another delivery. Hmmmm... let me think about that a minute.... get back in line, and then wait by the phone for days or maybe weeks.... so as not to miss the big phone call.... You guys are a joke!"

"I ordered a backpack for father's day for my husband in May. We all know father's day isn't until the end of June. I have tried to look up the tracking info online and it kept saying "processing". Thursday, June 9th, I finally got a phone call saying my backpack was instock now and it would be shipped next Wednesday, therefore not getting here in time for father's day. I asked why I didn't have notice that it was backordered to begin with and he said he wasn't sure why. I asked if it could be shipped to me Friday, Monday, or Tuesday, to get it on time, and he said no. I asked if they could ship it three day, and they said I would have to pay the difference. What ever happened to customers coming first. I am so dissapointed that I won't have it for father's day and It's too late to order anything else. I gave them a chance to make it right and they chose not too, therefore I will never shop there again."

"Mislead me about stock. Admittedly, the item in question is in high demand and stocks are low everywhere. However, they failed to inform me that the item was backordered and I didn't find out until 3 days later when I contacted them about my order status (because their online form only told me "ETA").

Very unprofessional to not inform me so I could look elsewhere.

"TERRIBLE experience, TERRIBLE business and service, DISHONEST advertising and service reps.

Placed an order for Kodak Playsport camera (like many other people on here). Website said "In Stock". Checked on order status after a couple of weeks, still said "Processing". I called, customer service rep (seemed in a hurry to get me off the phone. almost annoyed) said that it was on "back order", would be in stock May 15. Well, I called on May 17. Same thing. He said, not in stock, would be in stock June 4th. Kept changing the dates. I reminded him (name Rich) that their website said "In Stock". All he said was, "Sorry". I told him to cancel the order. He said, "No problem" (didn't even seem to care). THEN, after I canceled, I double-checked the status of my order #, and it was showing an additional item on there for $1,545!!!!!!!!! Don't even know what it was for. It just suddenly appeared. I immediately called back, and he played it off as a minor mistake ("Don't worry about it. You weren't charged"). Oh, yeah, and they had charged me for the camera, even though it wasn't even in STOCK! As for that, he said, "It's be sent back to PayPal, take it up with them, sir"

UNBELIEVABLE!! Incompetent, rude, dishonest, unorganized, SHADY!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE! BUYER BEWARE

"I recommend you do not do business with FuturePowerPC. Item listed as in stock was not, promised shipping date was delayed two times and they charged my credit card before the item was shipped. Details: I ordered an Epson 3880 printer on April 23 which was listed as in stock on their web site. I received an email that the printer would ship within 24 hrs and they charged my credit card the next day. Five days later no printer or emails about shipping received. I called and was told the printer was back-ordered and would ship on May 7th. Ok.... On May 6th, I received a call that the printer would now ship on May 13th. I had little reason to believe they would make that date either, so I cancelled the order. I am waiting to see how quickly they credit my credit card. This is not the behavior of a quality web-order vendor. "

"I ordered a Kodak Playsport camcorder which the web page says was available. I called to check my order status, and the salesperson told me that the product was not available until "maybe April 30th". "DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!

I ordered a DVI to Display Port cable from this website.. Sure it was of a reasonable price, but after reading these reviews they don't have much of their items IN STOCK. Which means they are baiting you in to their website and reselling from a different distributor! They will NOT send you a tracking number you have to CALL to request one. I called the next day to confirm the order and the person on the phone was VERY RUDE. He hung up on me after I told him to cancel my order since they did not have the item in stock!

BE SMART GUYS DO SOME RESEARCH ON THESE SCAM ARTISTS BEFORE YOU BUY. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!

"Very disappointed with my experience with FuturePowerPC.com. Ordered a Wireless LAN Adapter, item listed as "in stock" on their website. The item is on back-order, even though it is still listed on their website as "in stock." Sent several e-mails requesting updates, only the first received a response, later e-mails were ignored. Spoke with their customer service representative (a lady with an Asian accent) after a month of waiting and e-mails, only to be treated very rudely. Spoke with a manager named Richard, who told me he would pass it on the owner, but made no effort to fix the problem nor salvage my business.

I wish I would have read the reviews here prior to doing any business with FuturePowerPC.com, what happened to me is apparently their standard mode of doing business.

This company does not stock the items they list as "in stock" on their website, they have poor communication skills, and terrible customer relations. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

"I ordered a Bluetooth keypad on February 6th. The website said "In Stock" and the confirmation email said "Your order should be processed and ready for ship-out within 24 hours". On February 27th, I emailed them asking for a tracking number because I had not received the product. I received a brief email saying the item was on backorder. That's a pretty crummy way to do business."
