NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!!!!!!

"Honestly in the past they weren't horrible to deal with.

Until this month. I have been calling the number for the past four days and waited over 30 minutes each time and only got through once only to be put on hold and than dropped 25 minutes later.

I am currently waiting on the phone AGAIN now - 32 minutes into the call and still nothing. I don't know what changed but go back to at least a time when YOU ANSWERED THE PHONE!!!

Nonsence

"I am so frustrated with this company. I only need to refill my prescription once a month but I dread it. I have to continuously verify the same information every single time I order and if I order online I still have to speak to one of the representatives on the phone because they need to "verify" my information. I was just on hold with them for 20 minutes and I finally said to the rep that I can't keep this up because I was at work and she said she was sorry but they have a high call volume... OMG!!! Maybe if they would just be satisfied with the online order of an existing customer and not feel the need to verify, verify, verify then they would have more free time. "

i wonder if i should just stay sick.... it's better than dealing with them!!!!

"WORST service in the world. NO SERVICE what-so-ever, but they will be as polite as they can be. Actually, they are so sweet that they'll give you a toothache. No solutions. Ask 1000 of questions over and over EVERY TIME you call. Try to do it online?? Don't bother. They email you telling you to call them because they need to confirm the exact same things you typed in the email and tell them EVERY TIME you call. They delay your medications with all this stupidity. I'm now sitting on HOLD AGAIN..... going on 17 minutes. I've gone 2 days without my meds because of this junk! "

"Hubs gets IVIG for CIDP for the last few years and we have NEVER EVER had an issue or problems with Briova. On time deliveries, secure packaging and great customer service. We also have the best nurses in Michigan, very kind, considerate and professional. They have become an extended family to us. Thank you BriovaRx!! "

Worst pharmacy ever!!

"Last year I was blessed with a kidney transplant, after losing the pancreas that was also part of the dual surgery. After being in the hospital for almost 2 weeks, and three surgeries later, I was released for the first time to live close by the hospital for a couple months for monitoring. As anyone knows, after a transplant you will be on a strong dose of anti rejection drugs for the whole time you have the donated kidney. I was out of the hospital for less the 2 days when I had to order the drugs I will be taking for the foreseeable future, I had less then 4 days left of what the hospital filled for me. First I called optum, which is not even close to a good company to work with, but hold on there is Briova! They told me that Briova handles some of my most important specialty drugs and I need to contact them to complete these fills. Once contacting Briova, they told me they would need to verify coverages. Now I have two insurances, and cover almost everything, but my primary, BCBS, forces me to use this train wreck of a company. After waiting to hear back from Briova, for almost 2 days, and assurances multiple times they would be sent on time, they contact us back stating insurance wont pay for these pills. Oh yea they have been paying for them for 2 weeks up to this point, so we contact our insurance company, they say it's not true and Briova needs to fill these. Contact Briova, they said they would verify insurance again! Oh ya by the way I have 2 days left of my pills and now its crunch time. So on the third day and 15, yes I mean 15, calls to these bozos, they tell me they can send the pills to my house overnight. Oh yea by the way einstein I'm 600 miles from my house and living in a hotel! I was told that wasn't their problem, and would need to arrange for someone to send them to me overnight from my home to get them in time. And now your asking how important are these, well my drs told me that the first month is critical to be on anti rejection drugs. The kidney can fail, and the half million dollar surgeries I had were for nothing. I was told by one of these brainiacs on the phone, that wasn't her concern, and still blamed the ins company. So with one day left, the hospital pharmacy stepped up and gave me, yes gave me a week supply of these overpriced drugs, literally saving my kidney. A week later, I had the drugs sent by Briova to my hotel, but only a 2 week supply. So had to go through this whole menagerie all over again, when I was back in the hospital for internal bleeding. So, now that I finally got home and got these delivered to my house, but for the last 4 months, I have had to call them and demand they send these pills. Once having to pay out of pocket for a 3 day supply. Each time they are overnighting the pills, when I order these almost 2 weeks ahead. Last time I contacted them was 2 weeks ago, and talked to some person that actually admitted their web ordering service doesnt work and to call to order and talk to a human, but to call back after that to verify they even ordered it. She even admitted they are terrible and she works for them! It's hard to believe this company can exist but yes they do, and each and every mail in pharmacy that is out there are almost as bad. This is health care in America folks, and don't think they give one damn about you or your health, or any legal action you may be able to bring on them. They don't care and will let you become sick, damaged, or even die, and there is nothing you can do. But Briova takes the cake for the worst of the worst!!

Frustrating!

"If there was a zero star option that would have been used. BriovaRX is part of Optum PBM. Worst service ever and their antics have resulted in cancellation of medical appointments (RX not going to show up in time) and subsequent delays in care. Reach out to your benefits department, your state insurance commission, and seek legal counsel. Those 3 will take less time than dealing with BriovaRX and Optum. I have now spoken to Joseph, Heidi, and one other at BriovaRX, and Megan at Optum. Megan informed me that BriovaRX is owned by Optum but when I requested answers to the delays she stated I would have to “ax” them, I do have a case number and am so over the delays and consequences of these folks dragging their feet and delivering cut rate service. I pay full dollar premiums. "

"Hope you never have to use this company for anything. Every encounter I have had has been the worst, and their online bill pay is the most horrible experience I have ever had trying to pay a bill. Guess they don’t want anyone’s money"

Crooked Evil Unwilling to resolve and help a client that is WILLING To PAY their bill!

" So NEWS FLASH! You get a bill of almost $1000!!!!! but are willing to pay some of it and just need a payment plan! 1st call March 2019-customer service.. "oh no that is not the real balance because of your co-pay card. We will run you co-pay card and send you a new bill." My New Bill is not sent till JUNE! Balance did not change! I call June 3rd and was told by the customer service rep since my bill is 90 days past due they cant help me! Which is somehow my fault?! I asked to speak to manager and the manager tells me she is sorry and that isn't true and they can work out a payment assistance plan but that she wants to run my co-pay first!!!!1 HOW was my co-pay card not ran back in March? and it is now June?She was like promise a new bill is coming! Well, This has to be the most convoluted, unethical "specialty pharmacy" in Minneapolis!! End of July new bill comes in with the same balance and my active co-pay apparently was not ran against this medication once again. It's now Aug and Well lets just say I was not very happy so I asked to speak to someone who can help me. The call center rep got back on the line and stated that she was hung up on by the accounting department and she has to call them back who is apparently somewhere else and isn’t apart of the call center...!!! It has been over an hour but this has been going on for the past 7 MONTHS and it is still not resolved. I am talking to a new representative who is telling me she can help with the payment and is going to run my copay card again! Apparently the co-pay card was never ever ran by BRIOVARX according in this whole 7 months but accounting told the customer service rep that they did run it and that it was DENIED! I just want to get this resolved and accounting wont even be honest with their own customer service people. They want you to pay the full amount and do not want to actually help you in anyway. DO NOT EVER EVER USE BRIOVARX or any specialty pharmacy for XOLAIR. It’s a scam!!"

Awful & Annoying

"First off, I am always transferred to another department, regardless of what I am calling about...which means wait times. This leads to me speaking to 1) either someone foreign who I cannot understand half the time, or they cannot understand what I need; 2) speaking with someone who literally makes zero sense of what he/she is trying to explain. Is there any training here? NOT TO MENTION the BriovaRX website is a joke. The information for refilling an already established prescription (with refills remaining I may add), is always incorrect and does not match anything that people on the phone with say. Do NOT use the website, it is quite pointless and you can't rely on it whatsoever. The ONE prescription (thank God), that I have to have filled through this pharmacy is a very time sensitive medicine that I have to have. I do my part to request refills on time, and the pharmacy can't hold up their end. When questioned as to why this is they always have no idea what happened and cannot explain why an order did not continue on in the process to ship. I have yet to get an apology for their ignorance for THEIR mistakes.
I could go on and on about my ridiculous experiences with this Pharmacy. Thankfully I only have to deal with them for another month or so.

Spam Likely

"Every time they call my T Mobile cell phone, it rings as "Spam Likely" This is the deignation they give numbers where people feel it is a Spam call, trying to defraud them. I was contacted for my Rx which Optum designated needed to be filled by their Special Ed pharmacy. A Woman called me from somewhere in SE Asian by the sound of her voice. I could understand about a third of the conversation coming from her. I heard Pharmacy, then a jumble of gibberish, the you give, Social Security, Credit card, and Birth date. I hesitated then she screamed NOW. Then more gibberish. I said something I won't type her, and hung up.

She called right back. I was about to hang up and a very Americanized voice said may I help you Sir? There was no clicks, no pauses the first woman said my name, then this other Woman was on the phone. She then said she is hard to understand, she's from Malaysia, I'm from San Diego. I said Bull Shirt, and hung up. She was right there, and had been listening to this other Woman. That is all I can believe, without the normal clicks, pauses, beeps, and other things you always hear on a line transfer. Especially one across an ocean.

My Doctor has been gracious enough to provide my med. I feel like a crook though, I've always paid my way, but I refuse to forfeit my identity to these Scam bombers.

BTW, Optum had sent my approval for the med in question. On the approval was an additional page explaining I could fill this Rx at the pharmacy of my choice. Either Optum, or Briova blocks it every time I attempt to do what that letter says I can do.

Briovarx is horrible and I am about to change pharmacies.

"Briovarx owned by UHC does not get medicine to you in time and stopped sending medicine with priority by 10:30 delivery. 1. They wait too long to send out and not the fault of doctors office. 2. My chemo medicine comes too late so I miss a day or more. 3. Since you have to sign for it, if I have doctor appointments, I have to get someone to house sit to sign for delivery
4. They make over $20,000 for 28 pills
5. As if $20,000 is not enough they stopped delivery by 10:30 am to save an extra $20.00
6. By not delivering by 10:30 am you have to wait until 8 pm to get medicine. If you step in the shower, or outside in back yard or have to run to store or take a nap anytime or have doctor appt you now miss getting your medicine
6. If you have someone to house sit or neighbor to watch for it you have the same problem or have to get someone to house sit in shifts
7. When you request by 10:30 delivery, you are ask to give justification as if above was not enough
8. Last month the Briova person said put a note on the door and by chance they may leave it. That is what some patients are doing now. I said what if it gets stolen and she said oh it it that type of area. I replied that in 2019 all homes have the risk of package thieves getting their packages. If it did I would expect Briova to replace asap at no additional cost. They of course could not do it. They just want the money money money.

Waited for 30 min.

"Called for a refill and provided personal info through automated system. Then live person answer and 2nd time providing the same info. Only to be transferred to another dept. Then go through the process of providing info again for the 3rd time. Then she tells me "hang on" music starts playing. Im on hold for 10 min. She comes back on to tell me "hang on" on hold again for another 5min. She comes back on only to tell me she is going to transfer me to the dept that process this. Total min for this phone request 30 min. Total min. with a live person 2 min. Total wait time holding 28 min. Who would be smiling after this. I didn't know a refill request was this complicated. Why did UHC switch pharmacy? Pharmacare did awesome job!! They are on top of things. They followed up with a phone call and it's a live person!! Briova need to do more training. Phone etiquette especially!! Not "hang on" then click you're on hold. "

Will Not File TRICARE

"Company will not file with TRICARE insurance. They provided a form for TRICARE but we had to file it which turns it into a beneficiary filed claim, not a provider filed claim. The form lacked all the data needed; we are now 4 months into this, BRIOVARX is denying any further medications since they haven't been paid; we still don't know what the TRICARE allowable cost is since BRIOVARX hasn't provided the data needed by TRICARE. We strongly suspect they are doing this stalling tactic knowing full well the TRICARE allowable amount is much lower than the price they are attempting to charge. If your physician wants you to use this specialty pharmacy, tell them no, and if they insist, get a new physician!"

"If I could give negative stars I would....my dr said she won’t even use company ever again....faxed authorization forms have gone missing, dr refill order/s incorrect,constantly got redirected to someone even more terrible...6 people dropped the ball & let my paper work/auto from insurance just sit on a desk! Could not be worse

"Customer service is restricted to reading a script and is completely incompetent. Pharmacist knows even less and can only repeat the question back to you. Note - there is nothing confidential about your conversation with pharmacist. After my conversation last night, they forgot to pass me on to the survey and I heard them discussing my "sinsitive" issue that I had just confided in the pharmacist. Clearly, the Cust. service rep had been listening in. Also - don't take a survey or talk to a nurse who calls periodically, It is a trap. Let your doctor handle those calls. They just want to deny you your meds. In short, if you have any choice at all (I do not), don't use this company!"
