Clown show

"This company is a complete clown show. They confirm orders and then don’t ship. I give up. I switched to CVS. They got me a manufacturers discount and no co-pay of $125. Briova pharmacy should be put out of business for the reckless behavior."

Charging 4x the rate of their competitor

"Briova called me once they received my prescriptions to tell me it would cost $12K for my medications. I almost had to cancel my IVF cycle. Luckily I knew well enough to call Freedom and they filled my prescriptions for $3.5K. Briova should be sued for these practices!"

"The “specialty delivery company” that doesn’t delivery, literally and figuratively. I’m so dissatisfied with Briova’s service that I’m considering canceling my insurance because Briova is the “preferred provider”, so basically the “have to use specialty pharmacy”. I’m surprised they’re still in business with all the bad reviews. "

Wish 0 stars was an option. Worst experience of my life.

"I have been living with UC for over 7 years. After years of trying to find the proper treatment I was lucky to go into remission this past spring using Entivyo. I require maintenance infusions every 4 weeks to stay out of a flare up. After moving back to NY in order to continue receiving regular treatments my doctor told me that in order to get authorization from my insurance, Briovarx was the pharmacy we HAD to use. For the past 2 weeks the process I have been through with Briova has been the most unprofessional, confusing, time-consuming and overall disappointing experience of my 7 years struggling with UC. I find it completely heart-breaking that a company that should be designed to help patients receive proper medical treatments and improve their overall wellness, instead leaves them in complete darkness and stress. Over the past 2 weeks, I have exchanged over 10 phone calls with the condescending and incompetent customer service representatives, waited on hold for over an hour each time I have called and ultimately still have yet to receive my medication. Their processes regarding approval from both the patient receiving treatment and the doctors administering the medication is totally backwards and their communication both throughout the company and with their clients is completely lacking and unprofessional. After following up daily, my medication that was supposed to be arrive to my infusion center prior to my original appointment on Thursday, 5/30 has still yet to be shipped due to "pending approvals and authorizations" that I KNOW FOR A FACT HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. I have never been so disgusted and disappointed in an establishment. A company like this does not deserve to be in business, and especially does not deserve to call themselves a specialty resource for patients. After receiving this treatment (if I ever do), I refuse to ever order my prescription through Briova again. I will do whatever I can to continue my treatment with an alternate pharmacy. Do NOT go through them, it will be the biggest waste of your time. "

Misrepresented pre authorization

"So, It was recommended by my Dr that i try this treatment - i received a call from Briova... the rep asked me for my insurance information so he could do a pre-auth. I was on hold for about 10 minutes when he came back and said it was going to be $0 (zero). So i said "are you sure" ? "as depending on the costs, i would not be able to do it"...he confirmed no charge. So fast forward 8 months - they now are saying i owe them $700. It appears they did NOT do any pre authorization. In fact when i called today I was told that when they do pre-auths it could be a 50-50 chance that is wrong. I can not believe that I am now responsible for paying for something that i was originally told would be covered by my insurance at 100%. #frustratedpatient... make sure you get the correct information from these people before you use them for any rx's...."

Didn't think any company could be worse than Express Scripts

"To keep things simple just read JonAumann's review on 5/30/19. It's now over 3 weeks and should have been resolved for the 4th time last week but they didn't have the syringes in stock, now waiting on a prior authorization again??!!. I can give a great recommendation for Commcare Pharmacy if your insurance allows them."

Nightmare customer service so bad I lost my voice.

"The first man that took my order took over 30 minutes to refill my medication.
He asked me to spell common names several times and at the end only processed one medication. I was worried that my insurance was not active so he put me on hold for ten minutes and confirmed all was well with Cobra.
The day before my order was scheduled to arrive, I got a call that no meds would be delivered due to no insurance. Called again and was told a supervisor was working on my order and that I would receive a call back. Waited all day and no return call.
Guess what, called back and got the same incompetent man on the phone, so I asked for a supervisor. Was told my order is processed now and will get meds the next day.
Beware, they use a long voice recorded robot where you are required to enter information, but voice recognition does not work on parts of it.
I think I was put on hold for a total of thirty minutes when you add all the phone calls I had to make.
I would not use this pharmacy, but it is a specialty medicine only available through them.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE/INCOMPETENT

"5-30-19 call to refill prescriptions. Rep finds prescription for 90 day supply, enters order and having shipped overnight. I received another call that I had to take...she (rep) would call me back to complete order. She does call back but I miss the call. I call back and get a different rep and low and behold (as this has had multiple times before) cannot find the 90 day prescription. She states she sees where I called previous, etc., but cannot find the 90 day only a 30 day. Now, my Doctor filled this prescription on 4-23-19 and I have proof via MYchart. The Rep calls the pharmacy and they tell her I need to call my Doctor and send authorization. Really? Briova has the prescription...the rep prior found it, placed the order, and we were almost done!!!! I ask for the Manager, which was just as incompetent. Basically, she reiterates what the rep said and states she will call the pharmacy. WHY??? How are you a Manager? Managers are supposed to resolve issues!! So, I call my Doctor and explain Briova cannot find or lost or who knows what they did with the prescription and I need another one. My doctors office has the confirmation from Briova that it was received when it was originally sent and states she will call Briova directly. Now, that is absurd that not only do I have to take time out of my day to deal with the blatant incompetency at Briova but now my Doctors office has to the same. Now, I have to call Briova back and hope I get someone that can actually do their job and I can receive my anti-rejection meds on time!! HORRIBLE!!!!

Avoid like the plague

"I am forced by my insurance company to deal with Briova because of the cost of my medication. I have Rheumatoid Disease and take Humira. You would think that they would want to fill prescriptions, but they make every effort to make patients jump through hoops. Recently, I needed a new Prior Authorization. My doctor did all the work, and I was notified it was approved. When I called to arrange shipping they said I needed another PA. No reason given, just you have to get one. After a number of calls, I found out that the prescription was for pre-filled syringes, and the PA was for injector pens. You would think that it would be a simple matter to have the doctor write a matching prescription (although, really... who give a rats **** how it gets in your body...!) No, they demanded a new PA matching the doctor's script. Fast forward to today. After being away for two weeks, I get home from a trip to find an approved PA. So, I call to get the meds. NO! Now, supposedly there is a new form of Humira and even though they have a prescription for regular Humira and a PA, they are not going to send it because they have 2 prescriptions... No idea where they came from, since my doctor didn't know anything about it."

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

"so disjointed...Spoke with Kikieme he kept me on hold for 53 minutes. When he did speak his voice was not clear at all. I could not understand him. Absolutely no articulation what so ever. After 53 minutes he told me I am unable to give you an estimate of what your co-payment will be. The last co payment on medication was $823 only found that out when I have to pick up the prescription.
This pharmacy is so unprofessional - Do not deal with them!!!!!

If I could give a 0, I would

"My provider placed and order of Chemotherapy on May 8th. I was told I would receive it Saturday the 18th. On Friday, at 5pm, I get a call that there are out of stock and will get their shipment on Monday, so I'll get my medicine on Tuesday. Today, I get a call that said "there was a misunderstanding", and they're not getting my medicine until Tuesday, so I will get it sometime later in the week. The call was after 5pm, when all other pharmacies are closed, and there's nothing I can do. I told them this is not "aspirin", that this is a serious medication, and that the person who talked to me on Friday was very clear. She kept repeating "I apologize, but there was a misunderstanding..." clearly reading from a script, no sincerity, no empathy. Worst service ever! I was furious, specially because they wait until the end of the day when there's nothing I can do. I asked her to never to call me, text me, or email me again. 45 minutes later, I get another call from them. Avoid using them if you can. Your provider can choose another pharmacy that is more responsible."

Nothing but incompetence

"I've been forced to use this company for 4 months now. Every order I've place has had some type of issue. Luckily since I'm only required to use them for my specialty drugs this only involves 2 medications. I went to order one of the medications last week and they had no record of ìt being ordered. When I called the technician they said it was a computer glitch and it would be corrected. I just checked again and it's still incorrect. How hard is it to keep track of 2 medications? This is nothing but incompetence and it's disgusting that a company that you are forced to deal with is allowed to operate this way. Can someone please shut down this place before they do irreversible harm to someone?"

BROVIA ARE BABY KILLERS and they're 100% ok with that!

"I am on medication to help me maintain pregnancy. Due to them incorrectly filing my insurance I am stuck with a $1,500 bill that my insurance "didn't cover" even though I gave them a preauth. I am filing an appeal with my insurance to resolve the issue. In the meantime I have had my hormone injections filled monthly and Brovia has been paid the outrageously overbilled price of $4,800 a month from insurance to cover the medication. For whatever reason, now 3 months later, they are refusing to send me my next months medication until I pay them the $1,500 INCORRECTLY BILLED balance. They dont care if you don't get your medication. They dont care if it causes you to lose your baby. They only care about money. They won't even send me this months meds even though itll be covered by insurance and they will be paid the nearly 5k for it. I've never dealt with such poor customer service in my life. Exploding peoples illnesses to make a profit is just criminal in my book. The way they handle patient care should be malpractice and illegal. I dont see how they are still in business or how they're able to sleep at night. "

Lindsay was Great!

"Called to get a refill, long story short many things wrong in the insurance/copay/information. Lindsay straightened everything out! Very nice, it was a pleasure talking to her (these days that’s hard to say)."
