Pathetic

"I only gave it 1 star because you can't give it 0. I made an appointment, and 30 minutes later they called me saying 2 walk-ins just walked in so I couldn't come in. What is the point of an appointment then. The next day when I went in they told me they didn't have any more of the battery they just had without notice. Awful store."

will never go back

"took my phone for batterie replacement,, now i have no sounds at all..no media,alerts or alarms,,have to use bluetooth to hear,,,flashlight and camera flash no longer work..have to shutoff phone and turn back on before camera will open and can no longer screen shot anything !! having to buy a new phone is not something i can afford right now...their phone techs should not be working on stuff like this with inch long fingernails ...and the other young fellow acted like he would rather be a couch potato... no customer service skills at all...very very unhappy with this experience... they should pay to replace my phone"

They don’t stand behind their work

"Went to the fairlesshills store to have my iPhone 7 Plus screen repaired. Prior to going there phone was able to be submerged in 3’ of water for 2 hours. After so called repaire phone got splashed and the screen leaked and destroyed phone. Worst part is they did not even stand behind the work! The technician has no idea of what he is doing! Do not use them you never know what your going to get"

Fast to charge your account, slow to send product

"On Saturday 21 October 2018 I placed an online order for three X2 power premium AGM BC1 group 31 12V batteries.
Batteries plus very promptly charged my account $1,031.55 on that same day.
On Tuesday 22 October I received an email notification that the order had been received. I had assumed that like most online orders the items would be shipped to my house, but , Later that day I received a second email stating that the order was approved and ready for pick up in the Farmington NM stor #342. That is 114 mile drive for me. Fortunately I called the store before making the drive. The clerk told me that they had received the order but they didn’t have any in stock. The clerk said that it would take about a week to get the order delivered to the store.
That would mean that I could probably get the batteries on Tuesday 29 October but when I called on the 30th they said that the shipment would not arrive tell next Wednesday.
On Wednesday 31 October I again called and the clerk said that they had received the shipment but hadn’t unpacked yet. A second call and I was told that it was not on that load but they expected a second load later that day.
Thursday 1 November call again and this time I demanded to know the status of the shipment. I learned that they hadn’t even placed the order until 29 October and they expected delivery in about a week.
My call to the corporate office educated me on Batteries Plus. Each store is a separate franchise and they can’t do anything to help me.
I strongly advise against ordering anything from Battery Plus online store.

Rip Off

"I bought 2 batteries for my home phones and walked away feeling ripped off. I should have done my homework. Some things are reasonable but this was ridiculous. I will not be shopping there anymore. They just lost a customer."

Don't buy a battery from this place!!!!!

"I bought a battery from the Charlottesville,Virginia store #196 it was a Duracell for my Harley with 2 year FREE replacement. It was overpriced junk. They didn't honor the warranty stating I did something wrong. "

Completely rude staff

"Batteries plus on Shelbyville Road Louisville Ky. Completely rude! Miranda acted like she didn’t believe me when I said the battery is not working. Said she tested it and it was fine. REFUSED to replace them. And I have the warranty! Terrible customer service!!! They need to learn something about customer service, terrible communication skills. Here’s a hint: don’t act like your customers didn’t know how to start a car! Will never buy anything from them again! Hope you go out of business. "

Sad service

"Went here to get a new battery for my phone told me it would take 2 days to come in took 3 weeks drop my phone off there for them to put it in for a couple hours went back later they said they got it in but they broke the back of my phone so it would take 2 days to get a new back for my phone beenover three weeks laterand I'm still waiting just been lied to over and over Normal Illinois"

Battery core deposit nonexistent

I purchased a replacement battery for my home security system (Order # EC0010009251). The batteries plus website and my receipt both referenced 'bringing in your old battery to have the core deposit refunded'. After having lugged in an awkward and heavy battery, to my local Greenville NC batteries plus store, I inquired about my core deposit, just to be told that they'll only gladly dispose of the battery for me and that they don't refund core deposits. This is false advertisement. Who in their right mind would otherwise lug around a used battery?
#False advertisement #Misled Addendum: The store manager later phoned me and helped me better understand the process. He was very polite to me. That meant a lot to me.

Product mislabeled, everything else is ok

"Because the product label was not as the original, which is not the reseller fault, I thought they they gave me the wrong product. when I called, the lady just said that she is sorry and didn't know about that problem that is all over the internet. Product is fine, price is good, the company is good, the service attendance no so much.

Wonderful Customer Service!

"On 8/21/2018 I returned a Battery and a portable battery stater that I purchased the day before at your Brooklyn Park store. The reason for the return was the day before when I brought my car to your store to purchase a battery. I did get a battery but when your (service Tech Thomas) went to put the battery in my car he notice the positive battery post was deformed so he didn't want to replace the battery because he didn't want to invalidate any warranty I had. Actually he encouraged me to bring my car back to the dealership to see if it was covered under my warranty, he said if it is, then I could return what I purchased. I took his advise but I decided to purchase a portable battery stater just in case. Well I brought my car into the dealership and Thomas was correct it was covered.

When I returned to your store the next day I realized I forgot my receipts. As it turns out it wasn't a problem, Aaron Rice (the store's Manager) told me not to worry he would just look up my purchase which he did and within 15 minutes I was out the door. Thank again for the "Excellent Customer Service".

Highly recommended

"I got my daughter's S4 screen replaced on a Thursday. The next day we noticed a tiny crack in the top corner. The phone had just been sitting on her headboard since we brought it home so we didn't see any way the screen could have cracked. I took it back to Batteries Plus in Coralville and they replaced it free of charge. Neither of us know who is actually at fault but they made it right. I would recommend them highly!!"
