Not worth it

"You may wait a long time but that's not the main issue.

My account was locked and no reason was given. I finally got it unlocked, but then certain features were always temporarily unavailable (always). Like leaving feed back or tracking.

Tracking when you can read it says almost nothing, it mentions no cities or even countries. Sometimes it says origin or destination country but it's virtually useless.

I made 3 orders all totaling less than 10 dollars combined. One was "rejected" by the airline. The company asked for more money for shipping even though it was supposed to be free. Of course, I was unable to leave feedback due to account being "temporarily unavailable" even though I was logged in and looking at my orders. I've spent hours chatting with the sellers and customer service. Mostly, the translation is unreadable in English.

Be prepared to either lose your money or spend hours trying to resolve issues with the order or your account.

Never buy at AliExpress! Risk of total loss of money!!!

"It happens to me twice now that packages are not received (Living in Germany).
The Chinese tracking system is telling that the parcel was received. So to get your money back you need
a paper from your post office that the parcel was not received.
In Germany you will never get something like that for a parcel which was sent by Chinese post.
They do this only for parcels inside of Germany - sent with German Post!

So even if the platform AE is trying to help you - without this paper from your postoffice you will not get any money back.
Buyer protection is not working at all!!

So better buy from a local platform - or throw your money directly out of the window - has the same knock-on effect.

Apart from that delivery times are far too long - 1 to 3 months

Do not buy anything until coronavirus disappears

"Do not buy from aliexpress until coronavirus dissapears.
I mean huge delays on everything you buy.
Orders over 3 months and still waiting,
One star because they refund 60 days later.
All the shops didn't change the shipping time while they know that the shipping time is at least 3 months (if the item arrive).
Put orders 2022 and later when things come back to normal.
Aliexpress doesn' t control the sellers and they sent fake or untraceable tracking numbers.
Inform the people for the real shipping time.

Less than 1 star

"I cannot give even 1 star. Its about 10 days my orders are coming to uk with à wrong address so cannot be deliver. When I try to contact customer service with chat they are all of them almost insulting me. (heve screen shot) They gave the wrong address. Today they blocked me from doing any order or to even contact seller. They send me an email asking me to give them the return tracking number ?? How ? I did not received the order. Post office returned it directly without telling me because they dont have my contact. They dont want to refund me do they took from le about 133 pounds.
All my order will return to sellers and I dont know where is my money. I Just found out that many many People have the same issue on their Facebook page

"Free delivery is free because they do not deliver anything. They also do not provide a way to resolve the problem, as they do not provide contact details for the supposed courier. It's a gamble of whether you will receive your items, or if you will be able to use the poor quality items if you do receive it. For me, I will not waste my time with these thieves again."

with more expensive items in case there is dispute AE stays at sellers side. LOST MONEY !!!

"Hi dont waste your time please peeps. i am AE platinium member since 2013 and i have never broken their rules, but when i just want in a fair way my money back, they refuse to help me. i have opened like 4 disputes this month, i guess because of covid-19, but it is not reason for me to loose my money right, so i opened disputes. on all disputes i choosed same reason, described situation "purchase protection time is running out, but package is still in transit" orders which were priced less than 2 usd AE judged as valid and gave me full refund, but order priced 20usd(same situation wasted 60 days, but package are lost somewhere) AE said that this reason is not valid mentioned above. WHAAT? simlar situations on every dispute, seller guarantees on time delivery in 60 days, so time has ended and i just want my money back, but they refuse to do that. so please peeps, dont waste your time, because it is 60 days(long and wasted time) and after that in case you need dipute, you will not be able to get your money back. on items with bigger prices better use local stores, because they have stick to the law, they atleast guaranteed deliver items to you. i have taken screenshots how AE missjudging disputes, where seller guarantees on time delivery in 60 days( for what reason you guarantee, if you not full filling this)? Order Date:
Mar 12, 2020 protection time is 60 days on this order, so why this reason is not valid, if they offer it as an option "purchase protection time is running out, but package is still in transit" opened dispute in May 12. i will add screenshots in comments below if thats possible. Dont waste time please, Thank God it is just 20usd lost maybe they need them more than me.

Item bough but not received

"I've made an order five months ago during the period Coronavirus Spread. Knowing that I was certain that the delivery would have taken more time me due to virus situation and shipping problems related to it. But after one months I did not receive any news about my order, I tried to get a refund but it said that I had to wait amount of time before I could have apply for it. So I tried to text the seller which said only " you did not receive the package?". Now after two months I can't have my money back and I did not receive the package ordered. Also I've had difficult to contact aliexpress support. I think I'm not going to buy on this platform anymore. Oh and the site says that the order is FINISHED"

Not Happy

"I purchased a motherboard and also purchased 5-8 days expedited shipping. That was 23 days ago and it is still in China. I understand Covid-19 is here and expected it to be a few days later than described but 23 days and still in China is ridiculous. I asked them to refund the shipping part and they told me NO that it wasn't their fault. The bottom line is they should not sell guaranteed shipping if it is not possible. They do not care about their customers, just the money. I care about my customers and have already refunded my customer the cost of the expedited shipping even tho it wasn't my fault either. I order a lot of computer parts but Aliexpress will not see another order from me. "
