"I was awarded a refund, based on a dispute, but 4 months later I still have not received it. In over 10 different conversations, during this 4 months, I have been told I will get my money in 20 days - more days - 10 days - 7 days - 24 to 72 hours - 48 hours - 3 to 5 days - now nothing. Their customer service is dishonest and you cannot trust anything they tell you.
AliExpress operates in bad faith when it comes to refunds. Since you can only reach them by “chat”, and since it can take hours to contact a live person, it’s very difficult to try to get any information from them. I’ve asked for email and telephone numbers many times only to be told it’s “impossible” which is nonsense. They restrict access to restrict accountability.

"This place is perfectly set up to allow dodgy sellers to scam buyers. I have never been so upset by a purchase and am absolutely livid about getting scammed.
I purchased an expensive graphics card, received it and it displays terrible artifacts on power on and crashes Windows during boot. Made a claim, provided photos of the defective output, described how I tested the item. Seller made a bunch of nonsense statements obviously designed to confuse untrained CSR's, provided a photo of a completely different model video card under test, and even then didn't show that it actually produced any output. Their system allows the seller to make any number of statements and responses, which they did, whereas I could not respond to any of what the seller was saying.
2 days before Chirstmas, the Ali Express CSR gives me 2 days to to prove that I tested it by providing a video of me redoing the entire test process . Or as I interpret it, they are calling me a liar. Being away on holiday, that was of course impossible, and as I mentioned before there is no way for me to communicate with the CSR. So Christmas day I get a note saying I lose the dispute. Nice.
Here is the thing. There is no way for the seller to lose. Even if I win the dispute and don't post the item back, I get a 50% refund and the seller has gotten paid for something that has no value. If I won and sent it back, the seller has numerous options to say I didn't sent the right thing, they tested it and it works, etc. Then I get nothing back and am out of pocket for the shipping.
And then finally, the reviews. You will see an occasional negative review on Ali Express. I don't know how they managed to get posted as I could never get my negative review to stick. Every time I submitted something, the system would eat the review. I notice there are quite a few 4 and 5 star reviews with very negative comments, so others have obviously had the same issue."

The Aliexpress Scam: We will promise buyer protection to trick you into trusting us, then we will steal your money when you order. It is an organized corrupt system of separating buyers from their money, and leaving us with no recourse.
The asian sellers in china have been increasingly sending us their seconds, knock-offs, and just plain garbage; Tricking US buyers by using stolen product images (other asian sites such as WOTOBA have entire businesses set up to do this.) The asians in China give the good products to their own citizens and pawn off all of their garbage on sites like Aliexpress & ebay. They will ship you any kind of junk they have on hand, knowing that the price of returning it will exceed the refund of your money.
If you contact the seller, you will be ghosted until you file a claim.
Paypals "buyer protection" will not cover ... anything. Once again: Send it back to china at a minimum shipment cost over $14.00.
You will usually be given a 10 day return limit, far short of the 3 to 6 weeks it takes for things to go to or come from china. So you can pay to ship the junk back if you want, but you will lose that money, too, when that 10 day time limit is exceeded.
Our government needs to step in to end these corrupt entities from continuing to fleece americans, but right now criminal businesses like these are being supported, enabled, and encouraged.
Please help by leaving reviews with your experiences at online watchdog reporting sites and informing anyone your know directly. AliExpress, Ebay and others will continue to feed on us like vampires, until enough attention is brought to these scamming crooks and legal action is taken to put an end to it ."

THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY AND YOU WILL RARELY RECEIVE WHAT U PAID FOR
In the last 4 months I have placed orders from 27 different stores through AliExpress to stock by business the money they received from me was 405.20US. Out of ALL my orders I paid for and waited for I only received my items from 16 of the stores (and 4 stores out of the 16 had to reship the item to me after months went by and they said delivery was successful but there was never a delivery and I had to go back and forth) 11 STORES TOOK MY MONEY, NEVER REFUNDED OR RESHIPPED MY ITEM, NEVER RESPONDED, JUST STOLE MY MONEY. THE AMOUNT I HAD TAKEN WITH ZERO ATTEMPTS FROM ALIEXPRESS WAS 169.88 US DOLLAR. THEY CLOSED EVERYONE OF THE DISPUTES I OPENED WITH NO EXPLANATION AND NO ATTEMPT TO HOLD THE FRAUDULANT STORES ACCOUNTABLE. I HAVE DONE EVERTHING I COULD POSSIBLY DO. IF THEY TOOK THAT MUCH FROM ME AND THEY ARE WORLD WIDE.. THERE HAS GOT TO BE MILLIONS OR PROBOBLY BILLIONS OF MONEY KEPT WITH NO ITEMS BEING EVER SENT. HOW ARE THEY STILL ABLE TO OPPERATE THIS SCAM

"AliExpress is full of vendors that use deceiving bait-and-switch tactics. They advertise an item for a low price, so it appears on the search engines at one of then price, but when you go to buy it you go to a selection process, where you chose amount, color, shipping origin, etc., and then the real prive is revealed, which is usually a few dollars less than Amazon, which gives you faster shipping and way better return policy.
