scam website

"Governments should investigate why most 5 star ratings are from reviewers with only one review in Trustpilot.

This pathetic scam site should be banned to operate.
I've placed few orders in the last weeks and every single chinese seller that I have interacted with turned out to be liars, scammers and outright Imbeciles.

They lie where the item is shipped. If you choose to pay more and have the item shipped from an EU based warehouse you are, in reality, just getting a faster shipment from some unknown place in china.

When you ask for a tracking number, most of the times they will give you a random set of numbers and point you to a generic track website which, like most incompetent chinese sellers, does its best to distract you from the from the fact you are being scammed.

Then comes the infuriating part.
When you open a conversation with them it's like talking to a push to talk plush toy.
They are very skilled barely construct a sentence in English that starts with "friend" and ends with "wait until the end of the day for the carrier to update" usually until you are able to open a dispute.

Then comes the worst. Aliexpress itself. They are, if I'm being kind, accomplices but most likely inept thieves that live well with this type of scam culture.
The dispute process is ridiculous where you have to interact with the lying scammer that you originally couldn't communicate with.
AliExpress will not intervene until a "data in the future". The scammer that you ordered the "product" from stays silent until the day before the deadline runs out.
It is then when you find out that the product you ordered from the EU warehouse was actually Shipped from shenzhen and you actually have to wait, not 15 days but up to 50 days, as that is the time set for Ali Express to refund you.

Eventually, and if you are lucky, AliExpress decides to refund your money, you may end up receiving less than you paid for. That is because, even though you paid in one currency, they will always refund you in the dollar value.

Also, there is no way to contact the support with an issue, as they will only have a chinese built automatic answering bot.

This is so prevalent that they obscure the real seller ratings and allow the sellers to post fake images simulating positive feedback on the item page.

Please be warned. I have tried this website a few weeks ago and ordered a few products. All except one were met with scammers with the exact same behaviour.

I know, as it is typical with this chinese websites, that this review will be drowned in a sea of 5 star reviews from users that magically sing up to review and disappear.

I would like to think Trustpilot is better than this and I will keep watching if it is worth continuing to write my reviews here.

eternity to settle disputes

"On March 23, 2020, I placed order ID: 8011807615123148 (U.S. $ 18.46). After that, on March 27, 2020, I placed three new orders, order ID: 8011957872213148 (U.S. $ 19.50 with AliExpress coupons in the amount of $ 2.58), 8011957872193148 (US $ 20.18 with AliExpress coupon in the amount of $ 2.47) and 8011957872173148 (U.S. $ 15.50 with AliExpress coupon in the amount of $ 1.95).
I paid U.S. $ 73.64 in total for those four orders and the contents of the orders were (mostly): "disposable protective medical face masks".

A few days later all four orders were marked as "shipped" and I received the following tracking numbers:

Order number -> Tracking number
8011807615123148 -> RB932504083SG
8011957872213148 -> RB934491039SG
8011957872193148 -> RB934453937SG
8011957872173148 -> RB934062560SG

After a few days for all listed tracking numbers I could find out the following information from Singapore Post: "This number can't be found at this time. It's not available in the carrier's system yet. Please check back later."

Considering to that information in the Singapore Post, I have concluded that the order number 8011807615123148 obviously was never sent, so, on April 10, 2020, I have opened a dispute on Aliexpress for a reason that the tracking information on Cainiao Standard was fake!
Aliexpess has decided about my dispute on four occasions, on April 10, 2020, April 20, 2020, April 30, 2020 and May 10, 2020, and refused to make deciision on the dispute for reasons, I quote: "After checking the tracking information, this order is still within purchase protection time, please be patience waiting for the international package." And again and again, for the fourth time Aliexpress has decided: "Please continue to wait for 10 days".

I note that Aliexpress did the same thing with the remaining three disputes.

So, on cainiao.com for the tracking number RB932504083SG (order ID: 8011807615123148) already 47 days says: "Your parcel has left for the destination country" which is completely false and fictitious information since there is no information about the same tracking number on Singapore Post.

In other words, Aliexpress completely unfoundedly refuses to decide about my four disputes and refund me $ 73.64 (I did not include the lost value of the coupons here) since it is clear to every reasonable man as well that these four orders never left China and will never reach its destination!

I’ve been a member of Aliexpress for over eight years, I’ve spent thousands of dollars mostly very poor quality goods (627 orders), so if Aliexpress treats me so unfairly, I recommend to anyone who hasn’t bought there yet that they don’t even try to do it. But, if you adore life at risk, let you not be surprised if Aliexpress deceives you.

AliExpress is a joke and their disputes are even a bigger joke

"Aliexpress is a joke. I had an order that the seller short shipped me 150 pieces. They do not protect their buyers. They only protect their sellers. They asked for evidence of waybills, but waybills will actually show the amount that I initially order when it is an order of 2700 pieces. I posted pictures that were taken of the inventory that I received and that was not enough for them to refund me the $75...

Not only is the dispute a joke. But initially the seller even agreed that he short shipped me and I accepted the $75 refund. But hours later Aliexpress jumps in and says I needed waybills and changes the refund to $0. I posted the waybills and explained that they are not correct because they would put down the right amount but I did not receive what I ordered, but they don't care and didn't even comment just closed the dispute and said my refund is $0. DO NOT ORDER FROM ALIEXPRESS! Their buyer protection is non existent and they protect their sellers. The seller did not have to provide anything in the dispute and yet they ruled in the seller's way. Don't waste your time in a dispute as you will waste time and no one probably evens reads them. Save time and don't buy from them

Worst company for customer service

"I purchased an item from AliExpress that was supposed to be in the US but came from China. Accounting for the other posts to the long delay in getting items. That was not the problem and the reason for the ONE STAR (should have been less). I received a defective electronic product that was DOA (dead on arrival), the same day I received it I reported the problem to AliExpress and opened a dispute (their version of a claim). First thing that happened was the merchant supplying the product refused to do anything about it, even after I followed their guide lines of sending in photo and video proof that the unit would not turn on.
Then to add salt to the wound AliExpress did the same thing and closed the case before resolving their warranty issue. The company has a good line about customer service and guaranteeing what they sell but obviously does not fulfill on that.
I classify AliExpress "BUNCH OF CROOKS" FOR THEIR FAILURE TO PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

"NEVER BUY ON HERE.

They advertise USA warehouses but then when you order many of the sellers ship from China or just wait a week then tell you they are out of stock.

Delivery is VERY SLOW

I had a lot of complaints about the quality of the products.

I order something without know that it was forbidden in my country (south korea) because of legislation so my package is stuck in the custom clearance. And now Aliexpress invalid the litige, they make le wait 7 days, and then 5 days and 5 more and now they invalid the litige so i am f@#~... It is complicate to communate with them. I ordered many thing in Aliexpress and it was good but now that there is a problem, its horrible....

NO customer service

"Wish I could give ZERO stars. First order I placed was great. Went back and reviewed seller ratings and ordered multiple items from two different sellers with better ratings. Waited 30 days only to find out the larger order was CLOSED due to non payment, even though both charges were on my credit card. Tried emailing with seller who insisted they never got paid, and there is NOWHERE to speak to a customer service rep. Finally had to open a dispute with my credit card. Second package arrived with 2 out of the 5 items ordered.... Seller told me it was returned due to customs issues and to open a dispute. Which I am unable to do because when I try to look up the order with the order number I get a notice that nothing matches that number... and it shows NO ORDERS! So I have two charges on my credit card from two transactions and only two small items from the twenty or so ordered. And absolutely NO WAY to open a dispute with them or get the refund other than relying on my credit card company. I will never, ever order through them again. It is not worth the hassle and disappointment. Stick to eBay and paypal!"

Bad customer protection!

"I make regular purchases on this trading floor. And everything was kind of normal, but came across the problem of not sending goods by the seller. Upon my request to cancel the order, the seller only extended the order processing time. I could not influence this situation in any way. Complain in this situation is impossible! You can’t leave a review about the seller in this situation! As a result, I waited 40 days and finally, at the next request for closing, the order was closed. Now I still have to wait 20 days to get my money back. The seller "LEEPEE Superb Store" is a big trickster. I wish everyone not to mess with him.
On the platform itself, Aliexpress can say that in this situation, I was completely defenseless. It is good that the order amount was small. But this can happen with a big purchase!

You will lose money: no support for bad vendors.

"I bought something on 8/25/2019 and as usual, the shipping time is very long. Unfortunately, I never got the package and when I finally realized it (easy to forget due to long delivery times) aliexpress would not allow me to open a dispute. Overall, it's not worth the risk/hassle and I don't think aliexpress really cares. Shop elsewhere and I now prefer 10 day delivery time max to avoid these situations."

"ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!

I've placed 3 orders with Ali Express over the last few months - NEVER again! Orders take months to show, are missing items or the wrong item is shipped. Communication with Ali Express is a joke as well. If you like to gamble, go ahead and order. If you want the product you paid for - AVOID!!!!!!

I have received the wrong items, had pieces missing from an order, and complete misrepresented items.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

"It's sad that I can't give AliExpress…
It's sad that I can't give AliExpress less than one star. I ordered the hair iron with the EU plug for my upcoming trip to Europe. They sent me the one with the USA plug and USA voltage system. It looks like nobody cared of WHAT I really ordered - they just sent what they wanted. Now they want me to return this item to China (!!) for me to get a refund - the shipping to China will cost me twice more than the item itself.
These guys are SCAMMERS!! Stay away from them!!

"Took my credit card info when I placed my order. My account did not reflect that I ordered anything. Of course never received the order but they took the money out of bank account! SCAM ARTISTS."
