"Ordered a replacement DVD drive for an older XBox. First unit was DOA, returned it at my cost and VP Games won't reimburse me for having to return THEIR junk and won't respond to my emails. It's really too bad the ratings don't have anything lower than "Poor" - I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. "

"After having made the mistake of ordering 4 X-Box controllers from this company, not only did the “5-day” ground shipping turn into 10 days, I opened up 2 of the 4 controllers shipped and they were defective right out of the box (didn’t even bother opening any more controllers, I just wanted my money back). I then made the mistake of trusting that any of the contact methods listed for this sham company even worked, none did. The 1-800 number rolls over to voice mail, the long distance number rolls over to a mobile phone with the recording “this subscriber cannot receive any calls ...”, email and web forms disappear into a black hole. They had my money, what did they care.

Thank God my credit card company noted this was a fly-by-night operation and stopped payment. I will be forwarding the matter to the Better Business Bureau as well as the state’s attorney general’s offices in both Maryland and California.

Summary: Flagrant rip-off artists, don't even go near them!

"They sold me a broken drive calling it refurbished, obviously no one took the time to plug it in. They don't answer the phone or return messages. Had to call my CC company to get a refund. They have a C rating with the BBB."

"I am extremely dissatisfied with VP Games. I purchased an xbox carrying case (12/19/10), and paid extra to ensure that it would arrive before Christmas Eve.
I received a shipping confirmation email from them saying that it had shipped, but UPS only says that the "billing information was received," which means it truly was never shipped. They will not answer my emails, answer their phone, or reply to messages left on their answering machine.
It is now 12/30, and the UPS status remains the same and we have yet to hear from VP Games. On their website, the item I purchased is now backordered, although it wasn't when I ordered it.
Do NOT purchase from this website. They are unreliable, do not update their inventory, and the customer service is horrible (if not non-existent). Save yourself the headache.

"NEVER order xbox controllers from these guys. they SAY they have them in stock, but do not.... you you get a notice saying:"just a friendly email to let y ou know that the items in your order will be arriving as separate shipments" This "friendly" email means, you will get your controllers about 1 month after you order.

EVEN if you pay them $55 in overnight shipping.

also, you cannot get a hold of them.

Worst ever.

the good side, when you order anything BUT controllers from them, they mail out only 1 week after they should have.

"I placed my order on 11/27/10. I got an email stating my order shipped, the tracking says billing info was sent to UPS, but UPS does not have the package. i have tried calling literally dozens of times only to get answering machine & have also sent an email on DEC 7th...today is DEC 10th...I need this order for my son for Christmas. this place has the worst service ever!!!"

"I placed my order on a saturday. Monday morning i got a email saying my order was taken and they took the money out my bank account.I did the 3 day shipping. I have yet to get a email saying my order was shipped,before i ordered i made sure what i ordered was in stock and it was,i thought when they take out the money the ordered should be shipped,its been more than 3 days and i have yet to recieve my order or a email,when i call nobody ever answers the phone,it seemed kind of funny that they had a machine most businesses i order from online have telemarketers to speak to i emaile twice and have yet to recieve a emai."

"There are three key elements in being a good online store:

(1) That the web site is easy to find what I want.
(2) checking out is painless and doesn't require me to create an account with the store.
(3) if something goes wrong, the store makes an effort to support it's customer.

... In short, make my experience more convenient than going to a brick-n'-mortar store. Evidently VPGames feels the same way because this is what they deliver.

Their web site is easily to navigate and finding the product I wanted didn't take more than a couple of minutes.

They offer multiple checkout methods from their store, including the appreciated method simply purchasing the product without having to register and/or log-in.

Finally, after one my products failed, I got to experience VPGames customer service. There are no RMAs to procure, no customer service mazes to navigate, no telephone calls to make, no e-mails to generate, and no web forms to fill out. All I had to do was mail the product back with a note showing my order number and why the product was being returned returned. VPGames e-mailed me later to let me know they had sent a replacement. Absolutely painless.

"Vpgames.com shipped my order to my billing address (on the other coast from where my shipping address was). I noticed that they had the wrong address in the confirmation email before it was shipped and both called and emailed. Nobody answered the phone, I left a message twice, and nobody responded to my email for two days. By the time I received a return call, the person I spoke to refused to alter the shipment address and told me that it was my fault for giving them the wrong address. The customer service from this site is nonexistant and I would not recommend it to anybody.
