"My initial experience with X-10 has been with the web site and with Susanna who was extremely knowledgeable and patient when answering my questions.

She is a valuable representative of X-10. I only hope my experience with the X-10 hardware and software is as great as that with Susanna.

Please recognize her for her competence and professional knowledge.

When I receive my X-10 equipment and install it, I'll give you my feedback on that experience also.

"I contacted X10 to check on order placed on 6-8-08 by Nathan. I did not have an order number but Edolia W. went to great lengths to secure that information and forward to me via e-mail. The first e-mail confirmation got lost in cyber space or not accepted by my primary IPS provider. I learned that my pkg will be delivered today. I phoned Edolia again to add another camera, in part because she was so very helpful and pleasant on my first call. I appreciate the prompt service and the research done to determine exactly what I needed with this second order. Thank you."

"I purchased a X10 "Active Home Pro". A plug in hardware box that requires software to operate. An email is sent from X10, apparently when order is confirmed, that gives a link to download the software. What you are not informed is that the "right" to download has only a 30 minute window. I did not comport to the window (I opened the email at work - but wanted to install at home).

After nearly an hour on hold to get my authorization reset I was still listening to the "on-hold" music".

No $80 contoller is worth a hold to technical support exceeding 1 hour. I give up - I'll just turn the lights on and off the old fashioned way - with the switch!

"My AHP software notified me of an available update, but I have never been able to download it. This time I called support, and SURPRISE! My problem was readily understood, I could understand the rep, Sam C., and the solution (link) provided worked instantly.

I have used X10 products for some time, now, and have ALWAYS had good telephone support. Other companies should take notice!

"This was my first order on-line. But, I've used X10 products for over 30 years. I needed help in accessing the software for the CM15 because I accidentally deleted the information sent when I placed the order.

Your support people are fantastic! If every business looked after customers the way you did for me, the shopping world would be a much nicer place. And no waiting for someone to talk to, no elevator music, no being told by a recording how important I was - just immediate, pleasant, well-informed answers.

The first person I talked to was Amanda H and the second person was Kenneth Y. (I hit a second snag when trying to register the unit.) Both were great. Keep the up good work. The CM15 is up and running. The $99 deal was a great one.

"I don't know where to start...This is the most amazing company when it comes to professionalism, problem solving and customer service. Lacreshia deserves all the credit for turning a nightmare situation that she had no control over with me, a first time customer, to a pleasant and successful buying experience that will guarantee my repeat business! I will spare everyone from the details but I guarantee that any other call center manager that went through the hurdles Lacreshia went through would have given up long before a solution would be found.
Lacreshia's customer service skills makes Nordstrom dept. stores look like they are in training! Her follow up and resolution skills are going to make X10 successful in attaining the customer loyalty that they strive for and deserve.

"I recently had disk drive issues with my CPU and
needed to download the files from X-10. The tech
rep, Jenn Record, was very helpful in explaining
that some e-mail accounts don't accept downloads
very well. She suggested a solution that worked
with a problem, and then she followed up with an
e-mail to be certain I received the files needed.
Jenn provided the kind of customer service we
always hope to receive when there is a problem.
This shows me that the X-10 products do the job
and they are backed up with outstanding customer
service. I'll be back for future needs.
