"Bought a Royal Shredder from Whitaker Bros. My old one was way too small. (2 sheets at a time. This one will take up to 18 sheets of 20 lb paper. I spent 2 hours shredding 10 years worth of bank statements and old Income Tax forms. It's done, and was so easy. Got it on sale and no shipping. Great bargin. Delivery in less than a week."

"I was very pleased at first, after speaking to the sales rep. He promised that my Martin Yale slitter and accessories would be put in the mail that day and shipped UPS. After a week of waiting, I called and no one could really explain what happened to my order. About 3 hours later I actually got a call from someone at Martin Yale saying some of the accessories were on at least a two week backorder. No one had contacted me to tell me, so the slitter and available accessories were just sitting there. By this time I was NOT happy because I was needed the slitter by that Friday (and still had to learn how to use it!) The lady at Martin Yale 2nd Day mailed it via UPS and I received it Friday 5/4/12. The remaining accessories finally showed up 2 (or so) weeks later. My issue was just that I was told it would be sent that day. If something was on back order, the least I could have gotten was a quick email/call telling me it would be put in the mail ASAP."

"The Martin Yale 1711 that Whitaker Brothers recommended to replace my aging 1701 was completely inadequate to do the required job. I had talked to the sales team about needing to fold stapled sheets. The 1701 had guides for stapled sheets to keep the product square to the rollers as where the 1711 did not. After spending 5 minuets with the machine I realized this. If anyone at Whitaker Brothers had used the machine they recommended they too would have realized it was not the right folder for stapled sheets. After I talked to the manufacturer I was able to order the correct folder.

Because of this we lost 2 weeks of production and on top of that they wanted us to pay for the return shipping. LOL

They where polite and apologetic on the phone. The customer service was actually quite good. They just did not recommend the correct folder for the job.

"I am totally satified with equipment that I bought from Whitaker Brothers. I called for information and I spoke John Brown he answered all my questions and told me which cutter he thought would work best in our manufacturing application. I spoke to him on a couple different times with questions he always answered me without hesitation he always knew the answer. So when I ordered my cutter he told me how it would ship and when to expect it. We have received our cutter and it is working great!"

"The folding machine is working out great. We even showed finance how it could custom fold their invoices to fit in the windowed envelopes. I wish that the multi-page brochure folders weren't so expensive. This letter folder is already saving us time for simple thank you letters to donors."

"Online chat very helpful. Whitaker Brothers rep was very knowledgable and suggested a great solution for my folding needs. Price was considerably lower than anywhere I could find so I didn't even bother to try and price match. Order processing and delivery time were outstanding, especially considering free shipping.
One thing that impressed me was that the salesperson in response to a question about Whitaker Brothers (my first exposure) told me how good the company had been to him. Price, service, delivery, and a great company = A satisfied customer

"My overall experience was pretty good. I called regarding replacement parts for our hydraulic paper cutter. I did get transferred 3 times before getting to the right person. When I reached John Brown, he answered all my questions. I feel he went above and beyond in helpfulness and courtesy. He pointed me in the right direction and also gave me the part numbers for the other parts I may need to replace in the future. I spoke with two other companies before calling Whitaker Brothers. My experience with them wasnt very pleasant or helpful and we will be using Whitaker Brothers from now on. Shipping was quick, the order was correct, and it was even cheaper than the other two companies had quoted!"

Not knowing anything about paper shredders, I explained my business needs to John and he was spot on with his accessment of the proper paper shredder for my company. "We were very happy with the service we received from Whitaker Brothers. We purchased a folding machine and, upon contacting them, received some very knowledgeable advice from John Brown. Our order was processed expediently and we received it in a few days. We also shopped around and Whitaker Brothers had the best price on the machine we purchased. All in all, it is hard to find good customer service, knowledgeable staff and a good price. But Whitaker Brothers has all three! We will definitely be contacting them again for future office equipment needs! "
