"For the past couple of years, I've bought virtually all of my sports supplements from VitaDigest because they have one of the largest selections of products at some of the lowest prices available anywhere, and I always get them with fast shipping and excellent customer service. "I've been ordering from Vitadigest for monthly for over a year. They have the best prices I've found on the supplements I need, plus, many other websites don't even carry the things I need. Every order has come within a couple days of my placing the order. Once I tried another website, and the order took almost 2 weeks to get to me!!! I will keep ordering from Vitadigest."

"My first experience with Vitadigest had a couple issues but overall it was OK. Will I order from them again? ... probably ... if they are still the cheapest around.

Here is how it went:

- Placed $215 order on the evening of 12/14.
- Rec'd shipped confirmation & tracking number on 12/16.
- I tried the tracking number everyday for 5 days (3 business days) and it would never update (indicating it was not really shipped).
- I called customer service on 12/20 and a woman answered pretty quick. She told me ... "Yes, we sent you a tracking number, but your order is being shipped today (12/20) and you should get it by Friday".
- She was correct and I did receive it on Friday 12/24.
- I opened the box and they sent me the wrong item. In their defense, the item they sent me is very similar to the one I ordered but is different in taste. One is chocolate and one is not. 
- At first, I thought I was going to have to return it, but I tried one of the bars and it wasn't bad. I decided to keep my order.

One other thing ... I sent an email to "****@****" and it came back "undeliverable". This could be a typo on their website.

"Terrible, plain and simple. I placed my order, then shortly after was sent an email saying my order had shipped and my order status on the webpage stated the same. But after clicking on the FedEx link for four days and seeing no information available, I called them. The girl said, "Oh, it's shipping today." Not only had their site said it shipped, it also had said in the first email that it would ship within 24 hours. I'm sorry, but 96 hours is a tad more than 24. I received no apologies, no real explanation, and was told it would take 4-5 days for it to get here - on TOP of the four days I've waited for it to ship. I ordered the darn thing TWO WEEKS before Christmas and now it might not even get here on time! NEVER using this company again."

"Addendum!!!

Shortly after posting my complaint, I was contacted by Alex – a director at Vitadigest.com. He thanked me for my input and promised to look into the matter. This is all I ever wanted; someone from the company to take my complaint serious – and it looks like that will happen. Like I said - I have been a satisfied customer in the past I now look forward to continuing that relationship!!!!!!



I will agree with most people here – Vitadigest does have excellent prices and they can be efficient and recommendable; however, it’s my belief that the true test of a company is how they deal with problems, when they arise.
My story is as follows - I placed an on-line order on Wednesday October 13th. On Saturday October 23rd I was still waiting for my delivery; not to mention the fact that I'm in Los Angeles – and Vitadigest is within 70 miles of where I live, I could have walked to their offices and it would have been faster. I called their customer service line on Tuesday October 19th and spoke with a woman. She told me she couldn't get through to the warehouse to find out the status, but would call me back. Well I assumed she
meant shortly - so after two hours I called her again - and basically she told me the same story. I left for the remainder of the day and returned home that evening and there was still no message! Trying to put a positive spin on this I thought - well she must have taken care of whatever the problem was and I
was hoping to receive my delivery ASAP on Wednesday! Well my impatience got the better of me so I called this same customer service rep around noon on Wednesday - now she did have an answer for me - my Life Extension Green Tea extract was not in stock and was holding up the order delivery - but the LE Green Tea was delivered to their warehouse just that morning and would be shipped out that day. Mind you this customer service rep, did not call ME to give this info - I had to call her!
At this point I rechecked my email invoice from Vitadigest and noticed that after each product ordered was the word "shipped" --I didn't see the worlds "waiting for delivery" after the Life Extension product. I went on-line to check my bank and saw that my full order was already charged before it was shipped.

I thought that after having placed three calls to this customer service rep - maybe she would have tried to rush my order to me, and I was hoping for a Thursday delivery -- that didn't happen! OK--it's just has to get here on Friday! Nope – no such luck! On Saturday Oct 23 (10 days after I placed the order) I checked the tracking email and was given the info that I should receive my delivery on Monday October 25th - that's 12 days after my order. I usually place my orders with 7 days of supplements remaining. So I was without my supplements for 5 days.
I voiced my frustrations in an email that I sent off on Sunday Oct 24. On Tuesday Oct. 26 ( I had received my order on Monday Oct 25th) I received an “anonymous” reply to my complain email from someone in their sales department. This person was very considerate and officered me a nice apology and said that she would forward my email to their sales manager Amy. As of Monday November 15, 2010 – I have never received an “official” response to my complaint letter. I might be wrong on this – but –is it too “old school” to expect an official apology from a company that I had done business with for a couple of years -when they screwed up? I don’t think so. What’s up with that Vitadigest?

"Do NOT SHOP here. I have been a loyal customer of Vitadigest for several years. This month was the first time we were ever extreemly upset over what was shipped to us. All 4 boxes of protein bars were expired. I have had no success in reaching Vitadigest. Exp. date clearly written on each box."
