"Your website was not accepting the coupon code. The store was closed when I tried to place the order. I called the next day and tried to place the order. After an exhausting time with your associate, she said she checked with the manager and manager said they could not honor the coupon."

"The quality of clothes has gone down drastically. mostly boxy, too many large pockets with exterior seams, material poor. No one wants acrylic sweaters! Petite T shirts too long. I have talbots clothes from years ago. Much nicer. selling clothes that pill after one washing according to instructions not good for return customers."

"No problems w/phone service. I do have a problem with Talbots putting pictures of clothing in their magazine and sending it out only to find out that that product is not longer being sold. Also, I believe Talbots clothing has been going down hill and not made as good as it use to be. I believe before magazine is sent out, you should check and make sure you have these products."

"I ordered a blazer as I need a navy one for a Board I am joining. Soon after I placed the order, I realized that a double breasted might not be acceptable. I live on the west coast, and customer service was closed, so I sent a message asking if I could cancel the order (often there is an hour or so one can change their mind about a purchase, but I couldn't find that option). Knowing customer service agents would be online before I would be awake, that was the best option I had. I never got a message back from that message. I then called in the afternoon to see if the order had been stopped (with work, I couldn't call before then). He said it hadn't gone out yet and was requesting a stop, but couldn't guarantee it. It did go out over a day later, so both of my attempts failed. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, but it was a $175 blazer, so I am in an unfortunate situation."

"I remember the days when u would call Talbots and someone would immediately answer the phone. It’s become painful to call now to order. Sometimes they even have to call me back. I’ve been on hold for 15 minutes waiting for someone to order a product. I miss the old days."
