"I bought a Android head unit from Seicane and installed it. I did not get any manual for installation but it was pretty straight forward and I figured it out myself.

I do not recognize the poor service I read in the other reviews. I had to contact their customer service because of problems with gps-connection and because my unit forgot my settings every time I used the car. They helped my solve both problems over a period of two weeks. Sometimes I think the problem is that people with very low technical competence expect too much from a 3rd party android manufacturer on the other side of the globe. Considering the language barrier and the zone difference, they handled my problems very good."

"It is throwing money away. The model I bought is the 1 din one with a removable screen and it is a real disaster. I contacted the technical service under warranty and they always gave me long tutorials on other models. The touch screen has never worked well and I have to continually reset it. A good paperweight. Don't ever buy anything from these people. Little serious and zero after-sales service"

"I ordered a radio with all the extras as listed on the website , $500 worth of stuff , I paid the express shipping of 3 days , this is where the nightmare started. the packaged arrived in country 3 weeks later middle of December 2020 , I have been trying to get the package released for 6 months and still nothing yet, Most of the issues related directly to the supplier either under valuing the package to save on the customs and vat duties in country , They also supplied the incorrect tariff code which caused all the issues in the first place and had the shipment contained by customs for further investigation. Throughout the whole process they say that they will cover all the cost related to customs and duties , they then say you must first go pay these fees and then they will pay you back. Now as i ask for a refund they are saying that i need to pay additional shipping charges of $60 to get a new unit , and that the old unit was destroyed by customs . Its been a long story with them day in and day out , and its time every one know about them , Do not use this company they promise the world and at the end of the day steal your money."

"Worst customer service ever encountered in my life with zero communication skills.. I purchased a head unit from seicane a while ago which worked fine most of the time but whenever something did go wrong they didn't care and just told me to visit a shop local to me as they were not able to help me.. I decided to give them another shot on another unit for another car when I was quoted $218 for postage from China to Australia. I emailed them and questioned why postage is so expensive when I only paid $65 on the last unit I purchased and was told the item was "too heavy" and "travelling such long distance" As I explained to "Alice" once again that I only paid $65 shipping the last time and that other companies in China offer free postage on the same item, I was simply offered a 3% discount. Never again will I waste my time or money with this company and I recommend people buy from elsewhere"

"Got a new seicane unit and must say that it’s really good. I use agama launcher on top. Extra USB for CarPlay waze for navigation. It comes with GPS antenna, DAB also in and tpms for tires. My Citroën C4 Got a new Unit that fits and blend perfect on Dashboard. I as european and maybe others are not uset to a product that is that flexible that we Can do anything with the product. But then e-mail Them and look carefull at diagrams for wiring before assemble. I even Got my steering wheel buttons to work and in the end a wireless rear Camera. "

"I documented the entire process, there were problems in every aspect of dealing with this company.

I bought a new car stereo and android interface for my Mercedes.
Problems with the stereo:
1) the color of the buttons was not adjustable, and did not match the rest of the car;
2) the stereo installed well enough, although it did not sound as good as the factory stereo;
3) every time the car was turned off, it would lose the place on the micro SD card;
4) every time the car was turned off, it would lose the place on either of the USB drives;
5) when I would start my car, it would take a very long time to start up;
6) when I would start my car, it would not remember what station I had been on or what I was last listening to;

Problems with Seicane:
1) it took about twice as long as they said it would, even after I paid extra for expedited shipping;
2) when I call emailed them about the problems, they could not tell me what was wrong;
3) their response time was slow when dealing with the problems;
4) each time I would contact them about fixing the problem, I would have to re-explain the problem;
5) when we reached the end, and they could not fix the problem, I returned the stereo. I followed the return instructions exactly (they gave me the address and told me how to list the value so it would not get held up in customs). Once it cleared customs in China, I followed the tracking to the delivery to Scicane, where I could see that they had received the stereo. After they received it, I again reached out to them, they said it would take a month to process the refund. However, a month later they were giving me the run-around, then two months later, they told me they didn't receive it, then they changed their story again, to they sent the stereo back to me.
6) now that I'm not going away, they have stopped responding to me completely.

I will never do business with this company again! I hope others will see this and avoid this company like the plague. "

they recently sent me an email with a tracking number when you connect on the tracking number it shows that they were issued a label but they never delivered a package to The postal to send.going to let Wells Fargo deal with it but do not have anything to do with these people they're idiots"

"I was very hesitant to order from Seicane because of all the negative reviews. I took a chance because of the value for the price. It took a couple of weeks to receive my head unit and I have to say I couldn't be happier. I have bought top branded head units that don't even compare to what this head unit can do. This is truly a "plug and play" set up, very easy install and if you add the dsp sound option this thing rocks! This head unit is awesome and looks way better than my factory head unit. The best part is you don't have to buy all the expensive wiring and steering wheel button adapters it add included!
I would put this up against JVC and Alpine all day!"

"The order took 12 days to get delivered when they claimed it takes 7 days.
There were no installation manual sent with the head unit to fit my vehicle so I had to figure it all out.
The manual that was sent with the head unit has useless information that does not work for the head unit sent to me!
Their support is terrible, and I was not able to get anything useful from them!
After sending dozens of messages to them I keep getting the same questions and responses that do not actually work!

Pros:
-Sounds better than Stock Head Unit

Cons:
-No installation documentation
-Hard to find out what model you have and what was shipped!
-The videos on Seicane website are outdated
-Does NOT sit in the dash properly, NOT as OEM fit
-The steering wheel buttons change when the car is started, and go back to what they were when you shut the engine off!
-OEM Backup camera can be retained but the picture is bad.
-Half of the installed APPs are out of date, dysfunctional, and can NOT be updated or used.
-Android Auto APP does not work on the Seicane unit and will get a message that it is NOT supported!

Do yourself a favor and buy aftermarket from another company that is NOT made by Seicane.

I have had nothing but problems with the Seicane stereo and I regret purchasing from them.

Don't bet on their support, they will never help you fix anything.

"Ordered for a mq triton. GPS won’t work. Review camera won’t work and steer controls are upside down and back to front and the memory keeps deleting. I have sent it back but now they won’t return the shipping amount of 74 dollars. I specifically asked all these questions before purchasing and was told it was all plug and play and everything would work. Massive lie. Do not buy. Completely rubbish. They won’t even give a refund even tho they have tracking number. I have to wait until they receive it. How is that my problem?

They will lie to sell and sell you on false advertisement. Pay the extra money and buy a trusted brand. Absolute junk. "
