"If you do decide to buy from Seicane, protect your purchase through PayPal or some other form of guaranteed pay service, BUT be prepared to lose the money it will cost to ship it back ($100). You should also be prepared to figure out how to install the product with no instructions. Seicane shipped me a non-working unit. Instead of making it right, they offered to send me a motherboard with instruction on how to install it. Not interested because I was informed that if I messed up the installation it was no good to send back. Second offer was to give me a credit of $75 and then asked me to try to resell it to someone else. Their third offer was half of my money back and keep the unit. PayPal negotiated a full refund if I paid to ship it back, which I had to do. It was a $100 lesson learned not to order anything from Seicane. Buyer beware."
"I bought from Seicane because everything was plug and play. It also fit right into my dash and looked like it was made for my vehicle.When I first installed I was elated. It looked and worked great! However after 3 days it wouldn't boot up. Checked wiring and after disconnecting and reconnecting the wire harnesses which they supplied, it worked again. Failed to boot up the next day. Contacted service for support, and all they told me was check the voltage on various wires which I did. No problems with wiring. Also it takes at least 24 hrs to get a response. There is no live chat! Emailed them several times and kept getting the same answer. I finally told them I wanted a refund. They said this was difficult, that it would take a long time and they would send me a new motherboard if that was OK with me. I said no, I was not getting into self-repairs. Waiting to hear back from them"

"Had a professional installer put the Seicane 10.1 inch android radio into my 2007 Honda accord. According to some sources, the dual control Seicane works for both single and dual Honda climate control systems. However, installer was never able to get the unit to operate the mode- selection of defroster, vents, floor vent etc. It just blows through the defroster. The temperature controller does give me either hot or cold, but only through the defroster vents. I discovered how to work the A/C through experimentation; the buttons labels are bad.
After a couple years, the AC was not working as well, took it to Honda service, who spent $1037 to referbish the freon, condenser, and compressor. They demonstrated that by shorting the compressor, the AC would start, but told me the Android unit was at fault, as it was not calling for cold.
It is a cool radio, but had these major quality issues, and some other minor ones (such as occasionally not mounting the USB drive with my music, and freezing up in weird ways). If shut down overnight, it usually works again the next day. THe backup cam, navigation, forward recording camera and music off my USB flash drive all work great.
Can anyone help me with the mode and AC issues?

"Hi Friends, I had the terrible experience with this company. Biggest mistake of buying their radio which was not working properly. Spent 200$ with best buy technician and he couldnt do as the radio was not responding for any way. I reached them and tried all options at last confirmed not working. When i asked for return, the response was to sell it to some other guy with refund of 95$. The original price was 362$. The customer support is terrible. There is no phone support. Email support is only for 1hr that too our early morning. When you send response, you will get out of hrs automated email. Finally after long chain mails(55emails) they agreed to refund once they receive. But it costed me 120$ with the customs value to list as 58$. The products are so cheap and is not compatible with US cars. It is always our expense to return the item though the radio is faulty. My kind request please do not buy from them. always buy locally so that you can take back in case of any issues. After a long days waster, 120$ +200$ to best buy was waste of me. If i have added 200$ more, i could have got a very good radio locally. I dont want you guys to lose the money with these cheap company. Dont fall for the price trap! its a crap!"
"An excellent radio tape recorder for the money, but surprisingly very thoughtful, given the amount of RAM. the transition frame became good - nothing had to be cut. the backlight switches very well, regardless of the brightness level set by the knob in the car. falls asleep and wakes up correctly and very quickly!"
