worst experience.

"They falsely advertise please read...They had a sale of free 1000 rds. With purchase of hand gun they deny me the sale they had on line after it took almost 3 weeks for processing and delivery. So now I can even return the fire arm because its already been delivered. If I would have known when I made the purchase i would have never bought it. I called them 3 times and they said i was not getting the rounds nor would they credit me for the rounds even though that's what the sale was... I contacted the Illinois consumer commission and formally placed a complaint I advised every one to do so its the only way to make a change!!!"

Morganton NC store

"Today I went in to purchase items as usual, and purchased antifreeze that was labeled $8.99, as I completed checkout I reviewed my receipt and discovered I was charged $9.99, I asked for the refund of $1.00 because I was overcharged. It was stated from the customer service guy that he had to know the price before he could give me the difference. I said okay and he just stood there like he was lost, I asked "Do I have to do your job for you?" and he said no but still just stood there. After waking up he asked where did I get the item. I got frustrated and said "just give me a refund of the antifreeze", and neither employee paid any attention to my request which would have allowed me to leave without the antifreeze but not so frustrated. (of course they offer to refund you on one of their gift cards so they can hold your money hostage) So I told the cashier to follow me...we found a stack that was white and he said "there is your problem, yours is gold. I told him I wouldn't have purchased it for $9.99 and I know I saw it for $8.99. He started to leave and I said, come back this isn't over, we finally found it and indeed it was labeled $8.99. There was probably 10 bottles stacked at that label.....I know that all stores make mistakes, it is how they handle them that is important. If they had a better attitude and a little more than minimum wage energy it wouldn't have been so aggravating.....They gave me a refund finally of my $1.07 and said have a good day.....I put my stuff in my car, thought about it, and went back into the store and asked to speak with a Manager, they got on the Store walkie talkie and announced for a manager to come up front, the manager responded, on the radio..."WHAT DOES HE WANT" I felt like I was in KMart or something. This young girl came up and I asked her are you a manager, she said she was something like an assistant manager and listened to me, but you could tell she just wanted this conversation over......So the conclusion is RURAL KING just doesn't care that they make a customer do their job and only give him back the money they made a mistake on, and an "I'm sorry". The employees are paid to be there, I am not. Why do I have to fix their problems and mistakes on my time ....They just should have given me the refund of the $9.99 (NOT A GIFT CARD FOR THEIR MISTAKE) and I would have been miffed but got over it. Now I will tell EVERYBODY I know how I was treated at the Morganton RURAL KING store. I used to like that store but now it gives me a sour stomach.....

There's several better options

"I made an online order with rural king because their prices were good. This is were the problems began. My order weighed 100 pounds so I paid $50 to have it shipped. It took rural King over a week to process my order. By the time they shipped it and it got to my doorstep it was a month later. In the meantime they charged my credit card twice. I had emailed them the first time to ask about the status of my order and they never responded. When they charged my card twice I emailed them and got no response. 3 days later I called them and no one answered their phone!! I called the next day and again no answer. I was told I had an hour wait until I could get a representative. I waited 20 minutes and kept being told I had an hour wait. I hung up. I emailed them again. No reply. I called a second number I found online for rural King and I reached back representative who told me the number I called wasn't for online orders. I got into an argument with the person and asked them if I was going to have to file a dispute with my credit card company. I was told that this would probably be a faster way to resolve my issue with them. Unbelievable!! I told the person If I had to do that I would report them to the better business bureau with her name and comments she made. She then told me she would call thier online service rep and have them call me back. I never received a phone call but did get an email from them stating my card would be refunded. Two weeks later my card was refunded. In all, it took a month to get my product and two months to get my card refunded that they overcharged. There is better options to choose from with far better customer service."

Price Match is a Fraud

"I found a great deal on gunprodeals.com on an m&p m2.0c. Everything met the criteria that their website demands on them honoring their price-match guarantee. They never honored the price-match and did not give me a reason."

Plain and simple BAD Expierence@!

"Ordered and paid for 1 day shipping , nowhere did it say that the item I ordered (which was in stock)could take 10 days to "process"...then when it finally shipped with a tracking number....it never arrived. STILL SAYS ITEM SHIPPING IS PENDING! I couldn't wait any longer and purchased item elsewhere, called and asked for full refund....after another week they respond for me to contact fed ex...what a joke...took another week or so to get refund. never again. Beware...all these negative reviews are the truth. "

On line orders - lies & run around

"I placed an order for a gun of the week special on 12/2/18. I made several calls after the 7-10 day time they quoted . No one had an answers for me but excuses blaming the vendor and allow 10 more days...it is now 25 days and I called customer service & the on line supervisor at the corporate office and no one had an answer for me . They took my money quickly and the last rep was rude said she had another order and didn’t have time to look up my order #. And said u need to read the disclosure it says some orders take longer . I said I did it said 7-10 then another 10.... it’s 25 days and no word or email or contact from RK. Prices might be good customer service is terrible ! Will never order again from here hope it doesn’t take another month. Worst customer service I’ll pay a little more next time to get my handgun on the spot. Bad business RK"

"The worst service ever I ordered stuff for Christmas and it said It would be here before Christmas i called many times and they just kept blaming it on some one else like to warehouse and so on and so forth Christmas has come and gone and I still yet have received the item I talked to someone and she told my she would have it shipped right away well that was a week ago. They are a terrible company and will not stand behind there words next time I will order from amazon."

Disappointing Customer Service

"I ordered two horse mats. At first the price was cheap, but then they get you on a ridiculous shipping fee. Within 24 hours of the purchase we tried to cancel the order. But there was no way to cancel the order. I tried calling. I emailed twice. No response. Imagine my surprise when I then get an email a week later saying the order has been shipped. Then 2 days later they finally respond and say no refund since it shipped. This is plane robbery. Please do not purchase from them. "

Worst customer service EVER

"Worst customer service ever. I purchased from Rural King and they never delivered my order. On hold for 50 minutes, then they said they couldn't help me. Toy was supposed to be here in time for Christmas, from Santa (and was order on Black Friday). They didn't care they were ruining a kid's Christmas, and said they couldn't ship it to me quicker than 7 days, even though it was their error. Don't buy from them if you want to get what you ordered. This is the first and last time I will ever order from Rural King."

Worst customer service ever

"Bought a gun on black Friday online and still has not been processed as of 12/16. Emailed them a week after I ordered it and they said allow extra time to ship for the holidays. So two weeks later I emailed them again with no response. Called them today and sat on hold for 30 minutes then hung up. Order says still processing online. I will never buy a gun from them again. I wonder if I will even get the one I ordered eventually..."

Horrible customer service ! Horrible shipping!

"Stay away from this company . Their customer service is terrible. It took 3 weeks for me to contact them because my order never came . They never contacted me . They said it had not shipped yet . The next day I get a cancelled order email and refund. 3 weeks for a product I need 2 weeks ago. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS COMPANY . STAY AWAY!"

Why doesn’t this page come up first when you search them?

"Terrible customer service. I placed an order on December 3rd so that I could get my husbands Christmas present in time. I was told it would be arriving yesterday via FedEx. Nothing arrived. I track online and it says that there were multiple shipping labels on the box and it did not ever leave the facility. I have written and called them. Upon talking to someone they first asked me if I called FedEx, as if I’m supposed to do the full job of ordering, paying, and also figuring out logistics. They ended up calling and now are telling me they opened a ticket to customer service. That it will be 7 to 10 business days for them to review and THEN they will re-ship. The woman I spoke to seemed to care extremely little that I ordered this on the 3rd and will not get it in time. She told me she’s be more than happy to process my cancellation of the order should I like. Didn’t even mention any way to speed the process. I’m extremely disappointed and will be ordering this from Lowe’s who will price match."

**** **** on rkguns!

"Absolutely **** work from rkguns. Brought a firearm on 11/22/2018. They did not ship out until 11/29/2018. Worse, they shipped by USPS priority mail which got stucked in Dallas distribution center for 5 days. Called customer service at rkguns and got the same black attitude one would expect from! Total shipment time for handgun is over a week close to two weeks!!! Brownell which I ordered on the same day as rkguns shipped within 3 days. Brownell longgun shipment arrived in 2 days. Rural King tried to save a dime on shipping cost on consumer's expense. Shame on them! Will never ever buy again from rural King or their **** rkguns! Save your money for retailers who value your business as customer!"
