Don’t buy anything from here!!!

"Ordered a part that was described poorly thinking it was something else. Shipping was double which I didn’t think anything about as I thought it was the whole piece which would be heavy and then only a part of it came in. Then they wouldn’t take it back or give me any credit back without me paying the crazy shipping fees to send it back. Worthless company!! Even took them over a month to send the dang wrong part to start with... stay Away!!!"

Don’t buy a tractor from here.

"Our experience with buying a tractor has been a nightmare. We had it for three months and it went to hell. They have had it for two months now working on it supposedly waiting on a hose. It’s ridiculous looks like we will have to hire a lawyer so don’t purchase one of their tractors if you have any sense "

Rip off experts!

"If I could give Rural King a negative star rating I would! Placed an order for corral panels on line to be picked up in store as was informed by a Rural King customer service representative that I would receive a 15% rebate from Tarter( maker of panels) if I placed an online order by Aug 31st. The order was to be picked up and was in stock at local store. When I went to pick order up, they had misinformed me that the products were in stock, however they were available at a store within 50 miles. I called customer service and informed them I needed to change pick up location as I had been misinformed. I was told they couldn't do that and the only thing I could do was reorder for other store ( and of course pay again) and then cancel other order. I was told BY A SUPERVISOR that my credit card would be refunded as soon as order was cancelled. So I paid again with the idea that a refund for the original order would be forthcoming. I waited and waited . Days went by but still NO REFUND. I called ( 40 minutes on hold) was told it had been taken care of- said they never charged my card! I told them they did indeed charge my card . They disputed it even though I had proof they had. They said they would send an email to the corporate office and follow up . I hung up and also sent an email detailing the fact that THEY CHARGED MY CARD TWICE . Once for the cancelled order and then AGAIN for the second order. I called my credit card company again to have them tell me again that , yes Rural King charged my card twice . Another email sent from me and I get a response regarding another completed order from weeks earlier that had nothing to do with current situation whatsoever. Another 50+ minute phone call and another customer service rep that couldn't understand why I was upset as according to him they never charged my card! In addition he also informed me they had no intention of honoring my 15% rebate as he said I had been misinformed on that from another representative. I am now filing a complaint with the BBB, disputing the charge from my credit card and am informing our local media who does segments on consumer rip offs. UNBELIEVABLY DISGUSTING business practices by Rural King."

Took way too long

" Rural King said they processed my order and Fed Ex picked it up 1 day after I ordered it. Fed Ex said they never picked it up because it wasn’t shipped by Rural King. After 3 emails and 4 phone calls Rural King FINALLY sent out another order. I asked them weeks ago to please send out another but they waited 3 weeks to do so. I finally got it very late. Very frustrating to deal with."

NEVER AGAIN.

"I bought two shop lights at RURAL KING and one was defective. I contacted their return department the same day. It has been 2 weeks and I am still waiting for my return authorization. If I call all I get is a run around. This is the worst return department ever. I will never buy anything from RK again. People work for their money and don't need greedy corporations to rob them. They say easy returns on their website but surely this is not the case. I will stay with Walmart and Amazon. Never have an unresolved issue there. A crummy return department and an equally crummy corporation."

Thieves

"If I could give them zero stars I would. I bought my dad a radio for his tractor for Father’s Day but it had to be returned. over a month after I shipped it back I hadn’t heard anything so I called, the lady said they had received my package and it was being processed. Another month with no word and we call back to be told they never received the radio. $150 gone and no radio. They lie and are a bunch of thieves. Will never shoot with them again and highly suggest you don’t either! "

Can’t even speak to customer service

"I ordered a gun. They charged me but still no gun. No response to emails, I’ve wanted over an hour on the phone twice and I’m unable to even speak to anyone. I’m i day 25 of my 7-10 day wait. "

Very disappointing

"The online service is CRAP! Ordered a bike for my Grand Daughter. 6 days later it still hasn’t shipped. Customer service is useless! Waited 30 mins on phone and still said wait time approximately still 30 mins, Sent email to customer service trying to get answer to why not shipped
2 days ago,STILL no reply. Finally got thru on phone this morning, no help at all, just was told it was waiting on a shipping label. Pure BS! I will never order from there again.

Ivermectin

"July 14, 2019 Rural King Ocala. Went to purchase cat wormer they were out so I ask the worker what else can you use? She spoke of dia earth which I didn't want. She walked me to another worker who said ivermectin works on dogs it may work on cats also. So the first worker took me to the product, I googled it and it said it would work on cats also. I treated my cat with no problem. A few days passed so we treated the dog with a tiny amount which almost killed him. Vetted for days but recovered Thank God! Made a complaint but workers denied saying it. I would have never known about this product if it weren't for them pointing it out. Its not about the money at this point it's about the WORKER'S! Lying to keep the job when they injured this poor little dog in my opinion by suggesting this product. I hope it eats away at them for lying. Yes they are still employed. And there's a big tub ivermectin in the front of there store that just reads dewormer!"

"placed an order with RK, I know . my mistake. tried contacting them threw email only to find that they do not read it. called only to hear how short handed they are. placed order june 23 now july 10 and can not get status of items ordered. would have to tell anyone who is looking to order from them to think twice first and then go else where."

Customer service worst I've experienced in 51 years of Gun sales

"I ordered a hand gun from RK Guns on 26 June 2019. I never received any confirmation for order number or shipping date. I contacted a "Darla Copsy" on 4 July 2019 about information on this. She responded with an email saying: "All RKGun orders have a 7-10 business day processing time. Tracking will be sent as soon as your firearm has shipped." She said nothing else but under her name, she posted what apparently is the company's motto: "“Like our customer, we live, love and embrace a rural lifestyle, which is why we work hard to give the best price, quality and service every day. We are our customer!”" Work hard to give customer service???? I would say they barely work at all in customer service. I've been in the firearms business for 51 years, and I've never had a slower customer service experience then with this company. If anyone decides to purchase a weapon thru RK Guns - especially for something like Christmas or a birthday or any other special event, you had better order it at least 2 months in advance and then you'd be fortunate to receive it in time. Yes, they had a great price on the weapon I ordered - however - the attitude and customer service of their personnel is non-existent and if management continues to do nothing about employee training for better customer service - well - I'll never purchase from them again nor will I recommend them to any of my customers.

Got charged for items I ordered & didnt get them

"I wouldnt order from this company ever again. I ordered three cups and only got one and then woke up today and got charged again for another cup that I didnt order. Called customer service twice and still no help. They dont even have a clue what is going on and the store was of no help either. NO compensation for anything. Just continue to give me the run around. Do not order from them."

Ordered and have not received

"Worst company I’ve ever ordered from, i wish i had read reviews first, all reviews ive read since I pretty much got the same treatment, they said three business days for me to get 4 gal of spray power, that was April 1 today is the 9th, called the 800 number and put on hold several times the last time was yesterday for 20 min, they tell me their short handed reason for not answering the phone sooner, emailed and they wouldn’t respond till like a day later and them saying my order is shipped, I think ive been ripped off and will be turning this over to my credit card company if not received by Friday this week, they lie save yourself the trouble and find your product somewhere else. Cant believe anything they tell you on the phone if you can get them to answer and the emails are also lies. Not sure how they stay in business."

"I ordered a handgun from RKguns.com 4 weeks ago. I have emailed customer service 3 times and have gotten NO response. I have called twice and both phone representative told me that my order would ship soon. They have had all my information and the dealer license(per their request) since ordering and still no product! "
