Logistics Concerns

"Shopping and order entry process was very easy. Quick confirmation of order details which was great. The membership fee was the first question mark but we proceeded anyways. The experience has subsequently fallen apart with a completely outsourced and vague logistics/shipping process. We are at 29 days from “shipping date” with no clarification on shipment status nor any viable tracking or delivery date. This is not acceptable nor confidence inspiring as a consumer. If I were asked if I would recommend ROVE, I am afraid I could not do so with confidence at this time.

So Far So Good

"I reached out a couple times to the on line chat and to CS. Both conversations provided the answers I was looking for. Very friendly and helpful. Before committing to placing an order, I read many reviews and couldn't be happier with what I found, many happy, satisfied customers. I researched the company itself and too found this to be a company that provides a quality product with a commitment of excellence. I hope that during my experience with my order, I will be as pleased as those already a customer. I am not excited about the time for production, however, I am really excited to receive my order. I hope its worth the wait! "

Great Shopping Experience

"A few weeks ago, I ordered fabric samples for a couch that my partner and I were interested in. The samples came very quickly and really helped us decide which one we wanted to go with. I only wish that there was a physical showroom we could have visited. Very excited to receive the couch we decided on!"

They delivered a faulty coffee table and won’t allow me to return

"They delivered a faulty coffee table to the wrong address and won’t allow me to do a return. They offered me instead a 15% discount to go towards a future purchase with them. I don’t think that is actually legal. Rather than make the effort to be an ethical company to combat the terrible online reviews apparently they have attempted to get fake five star reviews. "

They are intent on scamming

"I purchased a sectional couch on a Monday when they give their weekly 20% discount promo in the form of a voucher. What they didn't make clear is that the voucher is capped at $500. Since pretty much all of their furniture is valued above $2500, this cap will always apply. It was only after I talked to customer service that they guided me deep, DEEEP into the fine print of one of the many sections of the store policy terms. Rove Concepts developed this voucher promotion with the intention to scam its customers."

Terrible

"Rove Concepts is terrible to deal with. If you do order from them, expecting to use that nice, healthy voucher to buy something else....think again. They'll do things like split your order as a gesture to get furniture to you faster when part of your order is delayed or backordered. This causes your voucher to 'split' in value, meaning you receiving part of your order's value in one voucher when you get the early shipment and then another voucher for the remainder when the other furniture arrives. And guess what? Their system doesn't allow stacking of vouchers, so you just got hosed. Calls or emails into customer service just get a response like the system can't do that or our policy doesn't allow us to stack vouchers. So they intentionally devalue your vouchers and increase your shipping costs AND you can't afford that piece you had planned to use the full value on.

This company has the worst customer experience and is frankly, dishonest.

Order adjustment

"Although shipment was super fast and I was very pleased about that, I did need to make a correction on my order. I submitted 2 inquiries for me to change my order before it got shipped out and I never got contacted. I had accidentally ordered 6 counter stools and only needed 3. Now I am dreading that I will need to pay for shipping to return the 3 I don’t need. "

Worst experience ever.

"Buying a couch online is a risk but when your paying 10k you would expect it to be of some decent quality. The couch received was comparable to IKEA or Walmart. The quality was garbage. Then we had to pay around 1500 to ship it back to them. Do not buy a couch from here if you are looking for a quality piece. Oh and I forgot to mention it came damaged and they didn't care about that. The good reviews online are obviously fake. Check out the yelp reviews after your done reading this one. "

Not the greatest experience

"I would like to share my experience with Rove Concepts. I will start by saying that the customer service team has been great in answering questions and providing feedback (especially Ingrid and Julien but really the entire customer service team). I am however frustrated with the number of issues I faced in my experience with Rove Concepts. I am outlining them below for your reference:
Delay in shipment of my order beyond the expected delivery dates stated in my purchase order causing extra expenses incurred from my end.
Shipment of damaged products and faulty white glove service delivery – the claim process was literally the worst experience I encountered in all my business interactions – the claims department requested numerous and repeated videos of the damages and made the process exceptionally complicated and cumbersome.
Incorrect voucher amounts credited to my account which were resolved after I had to flag it on several occasions.
Inability to have one invoice for my accounting purposes for all my orders from Rove Concepts.

Although my products arrived damaged, I do appreciate the look and manufacturing of some of the product. I was really hoping to recommend Rove to my colleagues, family and friends but it is difficult to do so when the experience has not been the greatest.

Misleading information

"The product at check out stipulates 2 to 4 weeks delivery. Important messages regarding processing the order before shipping taking 1 to 2 weeks is only mentioned once paid. I placed an order that must be recieved by christmas and now I have to wait for a tracking number. It is specified as shipped on your website, but this is not true. I called your warehouse and chatted with your rep on line, and the order is not in the hands of the courier yet. I am in a panic as Christmas is coming and I ordered this specifically for Christmas - I need my dining table to receive my family. Plans have been made, and I am very worried my order will not make it to me on time.

Desk is damaged - should've trusted other reviews of damaged items (seems like a frequent issue)

"I've been waiting since beginning of Aug for a desk I ordered. The design is great but it came damaged (badly chipped wood in the corner of the desk that faces outward so extremely visible). Now I'm in a 4-6 day "claims review" process that seems like it could be potentially painful (reading prior reviews about damaged items, seems like I'm in for a run-around). "
