Horrible amounts of trash, terrible customer support

"The bed itself is fairly nice. But the experience was HORRIBLE.

First, the packaging is criminal. There is so. Much. Styrofoam. Utterly unnecessary degree of waste. It's almost unimaginable how poorly thought out the shipping itself was; and how gross we feel seeing the volume of trash this generated. Part of an elegant industrial design is well-considered packaging; and clearly they went with the lowest bidder here.

The instructions are laughably bad. Whole sections, like attaching the footer piece of the frame, are missing. While we were able to guess our way through, it's crazy to spend this much money on a bed with such a poor follow-through.

Finally, Rove's customer support is terrible. I just wanted to know when I would receive my order, because there was no information. The contact form on the website is broken. I was on hold forever and gave up. Finally, I got through to someone on chat, and their reply was that shipping wasn't Rove's problem, they outsource it, I should check back in 20 business days (a MONTH).

This is an entirely unacceptable experience. I feel bad about myself for having purchased this, I feel abused by Rove, and I feel bamboozled.

Worth the wait!!!

"We ordered the Evelyn and Noah sectionals in vintage black velvet back in Feb 2021. We anticipated delays, especially with backlogs from the pandemic. The sets were delivered in mid-July to the new condo that we moved into Jun 1st. The Evelyn came without legs and one of the cushions was damaged. I filed a complaint and Rove promptly resolve my issues by delivering replacements. The Rove Concierge does a fantastic job communicating and keeping you informed of the status and helping to resolve any issues. This is a nice touch that is not taken for granted with their service. The furniture is beautiful and feels really solid. We were going for a modern look and feel and these sets really helped accomplish this. I am really impressed with the quality of both sectional and look forward to many years enjoying them. We already have our eyes set on some remaining pieces at Rove to finish off our condo. "

"At first I made the website so big on my laptop I could not navigate, then I reduced the size and bingo perfect. I like the fact that you can email yourself the shopping cart. Staff were great onsite in LA and virtually."

Never order from here

"My experience with Rove has been atrocious. I will never be repurchasing from them. I placed my order for a Luca Sectional on 04/20/21 and was sent a ripped and torn beyond repair sectional that took months to replace. I spent $250 for “white glove delivery” that delivered a sectional that looked as if it had fallen off the truck and been dragged on concrete. Today (06/25/21) the replacement was finally delivered without legs and a pillow. Their customer service is extremely difficult to communicate with and not at all helpful. It’s now almost August & I have a leg less sectional missing a pillow. Nobody will return my emails. "

Shipping issue and an inability to speak with a live agent

"I was asked to block off an afternoon to receive my chairs and no one showed up. I called both the shipping company and Rove directly and i could not get through to an agent . I left two VMs and sent an email and still got no response. I must waiting hours to speak to an agent to see what was going on. In the end, i still have not had my clal returned and spent an hour chatting with an agent yesterday. They have no understanding why their delivery company called me and asked me to block off a date. I do get that errors can happen. But own them. And have enough people to talk to clients when you do make errors. "

I really like the furniture, but....

"The furniture at Rove Concepts is stylish and good quality, but their customer service is terrible. Getting to talk to someone is just about impossible. The furniture is also quite pricey and delivery has something to be desired. It took 7 weeks for me to get the chair I ordered and it was in stock. The delivery company also didn't have a great tracking system. "

Rove Concepts Does not Stand Behind their Products

"Back in April, I received the Mikasa 3 piece Outdoor collection and immediately unpacked it to check for shipping damages. There were no shipping damages so, I left the furniture wrapped in the Styrofoam and bubble wrap until my new deck was ready and the weather was good. In the interim, I purchased a custom cover to protect my new furniture. When I unwrapped the 3 pieces in June, there was a bump with a oil stain right in the middle of the right lounge. I contacted Rove Concepts and they basically told me to go jump since, it had been more than 3 days since delivery. It is clearly a manufacturing defect and they will not honor or address the issue. I am extremely disappointed in their company policies and would highly recommend anyone contemplating purchasing from them to unpack the purchase immediately because, they do not stand behind their product after 3 days of receipt! It's too bad because, we will not be able to use it since the stain is front and center. $3.5k thrown out thanks to a company which does not care about their customers

Bad customer service so far.

"I ordered, then reached out immediately to the Rove Team about a possible colour change to my order, first calling then emailing.
5 days have gone by with no response. I have never been able to get through to them by phone even prior to buying a membership. So not cool in my opinion.

It’s a nightmare

"Couldn’t recommend Rove Concepts less.
They have the worst customer service. I have been waiting for 11 days for a response from an email I sent concerning a delivery status. I bought a coffee table on April. It was supposed to be delivered on June and the coffee table never arrived so I had to go to my account and I noticed they changed the delivery date to the end of September without letting me know. So I sent an email and they never got back to me.
But this is not the first time. I bought a living room from them last year and same story.
I highly regret buying from this company. Do not buy anything from here. It’s just a nightmare!!!

My couch will not be arriving for 6 months...

"We ordered our dream couch in April. We have been patiently waiting and I was so excited to receive it in July as promised.. our order has been pushed back 2 times, expected to arrive in October now and I would not be surprised if it gets pushed back again. We are currently sitting in our first home with no couch and nothing but bad news every time we check for an update. Do not order from here if you expect to get your furniture this year."

Bad website, good customer service

"I was trying to buy sections of the Porter modular collection - the website didn’t show white glove delivery as an option, even though I’m in an area where it’s available. I went to use the chat feature, but that didn’t work, even though multiple places refer to it. I sent an email and got a pleasant reply back quickly apologizing and saying I could call and they’d add it, which I did, and after waiting and waiting and finally requesting a call-back, later that evening someone did give me a call and did a great job assisting me. So all in all, probably too difficult for such a high-end brand, but if customer service continues to be this good, I’ll be happy."
