"I've ordered several parts from RRO over the years. I ordered Roof Rails for my old Jeep Liberty, a lift and front bumper for my old Jeep Patriot, so naturally it was a no-brainer to look for rock sliders for my new Frontier. There are currently about a half dozen companies on the web that offer sliders for the current model Frontier so I did a fair amount of homework. RRO builds a stronger (big time) slider than the competition, at a lower price point (half the price of a couple competitors). I waited the exact time that was stated in the description and man was it worth it. These sliders are SOLID, and with the kickers they work out perfect for my kids to have a decent step. I really can't say enough good things about the kicker sliders, tons of compliments. I look back at my truck as I walk away from it, which if you're a car/truck person you get what I mean by that. I hate to think about a time when my truck will no longer get me where I need to go, but when that happens I'll upfit my next vehicle with RRO parts. "I waited 3 months for rock sliders that even they admitted were fabricated wrong. I spent two hours trying to get them to work before abandoning it and sending them a helpful email full of pics with dimensions. After they admitted the mistake was on their end, the best they could do is offer me a measly 10% discount if I take the time to repackage them, send them back and wait even longer to get them back after they hack them apart and re-weld them. They should take that 10% and hire a Quality Control technician and save themselves money by not having to pay to ship their garbage all over the country and back. So now here I am, 3 months later with nothing but wasted hours and hoping they refund my money. Definitely one of the worst companies that I've ever dealt with, take your money somewhere it's respected!"

"I installed the RRO lift on my 2008 Jeep Patriot Sport with 111,000 miles that I bought new. The kit took less than a week to be delivered after ordering, delivered to my door by UPS, free shipping.
The install took me an easy-paced day including a lunch and a break or two. This included the jacking, wheel, strut, upper arms removal, install and back on the road. The install went well and the instructions were compete and clear. I had replaced the struts a few years ago, so I was already aware of that process. The list of tools that RRO provides is a good guide. I would recommend a good impact wrench with sockets, extensions and swivel joints. A set of large punches will make lining up the holes for the bolts much easier. I also used a bottle jack, a floor jack and a jack stand. A second pair of hands is helpful when mounting the struts back into the upper housings.
The most difficult step in the installation is the rear struts with the new spacers. It is not necessary to disassemble any of the rear suspension, although at first it seems that you must. After placing the rear strut into the rear lower control arm slot and mounting the strut to the upper housing, simply place the floor jack, with a large socket under the bottom of the strut and compress it a couple inches. This will allow easy alignment of the lower strut bolt into the lower control arm. The upper strut housing nuts are a pain to get off and on due to the tight working area, but that is no fault of the RRO lift kit.
The entire process was fairly easy and straight forward. However, I would recommend planning for seized bushings and rusted bolts if your Jeep has any age to it. With that said, I did not have any issues with my 10 year old Patriot.
I believe I could do the install in four hours now that I’m familiar with the process.
I called RRO twice for some simple questions. Both time they answered the phone and provided the answers I was looking for.
Once the installation was complete I had a little squeaking/creaking in the back and a shudder during acceleration between 20 and 30 mph on the way to get the Patriot aligned. Both of these issues have been mentioned on forums and reviews. I took it to my Jeep dealer for the four wheel alignment. The technician had no problems aligning the vehicle. After the alignment the squeaks/creaks and shudder are gone. It drives like new and looks great. The RRO lift is a great product, well made and thought out. I’m running 225/70/16’s, but it appears there is room for bigger tires. Very pleased.

"I recently purchased 4incher lift kit for my samurai from RRO. I see bad reviews for them,I have nothing but good things to say about them. I emailed Glenn a few times with questions about the kit before I ordered,quick and professional responses.
So I ordered the 4incher with add a leaf on a Thursday night, Monday afternoon Jared called and told me I ordered the wrong add a leaf to fit the pack in my kit we fixed that, very professional. They could have sent me wrong part all the way to Nova Scotia Canada would have been my fault. My order was shipped on Friday of same week not bad eh.
Order arrived 11 days later 1 of 2 boxes was damaged and parts missing. I called RRO, guy said send pictures, tracking number of damaged box and list of missing parts, sent this to Jared. About a week later missing parts were shipped. Not bad eh. Order now complete.
I called twice about install, guy who answered the phone knew right away what I needed to know, didn't have to put me on hold to look it up,again very professional. Not bad eh.
Now not everything fit like a glove, but any issues l had were miner and not hard to fix with moderate mechanicaly skills
All and all I'm very pleased with the service and quality of this product and the people I talked to. I will buy from RRO again!!
