"Horrible Customer Service. I have never received such poor and insulting customer service.
I worked with their owner Glenn to select lift components for my vehicle via email. He suggested a specific kit and I called to purchase it. When I called their sales team they refused to take my order via phone and answer questions and recommended I place the order online. They then sent the parts and when I recieved them they did not fit the vehicle and were useless to me. After multiple attempts on my part to resolve the issue via Scott in sales they committed to making the sale right but never followed through. I politely warned them I would be filing a chargeback soon if unresolved and they still failed to follow through. I filed the chargeback and the full amount has been refunded.
Don't do business with these people. They might resell quality products and make some mediocre flimsy hard to find parts but they are dishonest, greedy, confrontational and downright rotten to the core. It is clear from their reviews that Rocky Road Outfitters has repeatedly ripped off members of their own beloved offroad community and will not hesitate to continue.
On another note...once I decided to source components from Rubicon Express instead I was able to compare and could see the level of quality and detail orientation was far superior to the RRO products."

"I love my 2010 WH (WK in the USA) Jeep GC CDI. As you can imagine, Aussies love their 4x4s and utility wehicles, and the issue I have is getting parts and accessories for my 4X4. I have ordered the Rocky Road Super-sliders and front bumper bar with the winch mount. I can see lots of customers complain about the time it took to have their goods delivered. Well, if you order custom made goods within Australia, you will be waiting for up to 6 months for delivery. My order from Rocky Road did not take 6 months and oh boy, the quality of the product and fittment. PERFECT!!! PERFECT!!! My order was delivered from US in so much protective packaging and heavy duty protective wrap, it was almost annoying to get to the parts (not really, I just could not wait to see them). Quality of the finish, powdercoating, welding and strength. PERFECT!!! actually exceeded my expectations, and I have high expectations as I hold bachelor degree in mechanical engineering. I can only say one thing to everyone looking for the best for your WH / WK Jeep GC, get it from Rocky Road Outfitters. If you want fast delivered sub standard product, go elsewhere ;-), and no RRO did not pay me to write the review :-)

"It’s been almost 4 months and my order hasn’t even been delivered yet shipped. In fact I received an email today(sept 13th) that they are near finishing May orders. My Email is First and below that is there response.
Hello again. I’m assuming no one saw my last email but what’s the status on my order #******. I was told last week by email it would be shipped early last week granted there was Labor Day. My concern now is that you guys do not actually care about customers or the fact that it’s almost been 4 months since I ordered a product. I know of Covid and rising steel prices, however this does not constitute a no response on your end. I could very easily understand if you guys were building a set of bumpers but you are not. What’s worse is that when you guys do ship it, it’ll be over 4 months and I’m willing to bet it would be 4.5 when it finally does arrive. I was told months ago it would be ready to ship via email and phone call yet that hasn’t obviously happened. On second thought how is it possible for the vehicle that inspired the company you can’t seem to make the products in reasonable time especially with you guys being around almost 25yrs. I understand now why you guys receive terrible reviews across the board. Maybe if you guys would own up to your mistakes and stop writing back to ex customers with crappy excuses the products they ordered would be delivered on time. I find it hard to believe you guys have all the time in world to write back to reviews stating “The business is bad” or “terrible products“ then claim they are fake reviews when you do a disservice to people who are in similar shoes to me. How are those reviews illegitimate? Own up to your failures and be better. I’ve tried my best to be patient but how does a business let this happen unless they are failing. You know whats some good advice, you should change “Voted by Four Wheeler magazine readers.... Top Ten All Star Manufacturers” from the signature block of your emails.

I do see your order in our system. These kits normally take about 6-8 weeks to build, but the demand for our 'build to order' items this year, combined with shortages and delays with US steel, has put us many months behind... obviously.
Our shop is currently close to wrappy up on May orders, so they should be pretty close to completing your bumper order. We do appreciate everyone's patience this year, it has been a challenging time for mahy industries as raw materials and supply shortages have created frustrating delays everywhere.
Once received, this bumper will last a lifetime and hopefully the long wait of the COVID-time will be a forgotten memory for you.

Never buy any products whether they build in house or are a vendor of. You’ll have better luck betting on Ray Charles reading ability. Or better yet don’t count on products arriving on time.

"Doesn't respond to email, messages, or social media. How ever you can contact them by phone. The rock rails for my Liberty took 3 month to arrive are fairly stout, but I had to modify them just a bit. IMO having two frame mounts makes for a weak center section, so I faced up a center mount. Rails were difficult to mount up since they didn't include mounting templates (someone forgot to include them). Called to customer service line and was basically told to deal with it. Hence my 3 stars."
