"I was looking for a cheap repair guide to fix a clutch slave cylinder on my 07 Saturn Ion. I didn't want to spend $30 on the book since I'm planning on selling it as soon as it's fixed. On these cars, the whole transmission has to come off to get to the slave cylinder, and they were able to give me step-by-step instructions and diagrams to remove this and get the job done. Only issue I had is that they didn't give me the option to select my specific model (Level 2 4dr) just gives me the option of the Redline/Supercharged 2.0 (different engine) but gives me the option to select different engines and transaxle in the categories. "

Purchased Repair Surge automotive service manual software from their website. The software would not operate correctly, they sent me a new link to a lesser product. The product was old outdate information, and the links for repair information went to Autozone, which directed you to Alldatadiy website, which requires an additional subscription for your model vehicle. Their ads advised that all model vehicles were covered, and that they are Licensed by the OEM, what a joke.

All they are supplying is the very basics of vehicle repair and a bootleg copy of a U.S. Navy training manual on electricity fundamentals. Contacting with these people is nearly impossible, they have an automated system that advises they cannot provide a refund, even though they advertise a complete refund if your not satisfied with the product. I would not recommend purchase of this product to anyone, period. Save your money, and get a subscription for a day, from your vehicles manufacturers service information site."

It's a good learning tool only if you have no basic concept of anything mechanical. If you are looking to fix your car, or a specific issue with your vehicle, this is NOT for you. In the places where vehicle specific information was supposed to be, there were only links to the web to BUY parts, and some of those links didn't work either. NOT worth the money, and I immediately got a refund. Waste of my time. But if you are a complete mechanical newbie, this does explain in detail how stuff works."
