"I ordered a phone a month in advance of my trip. Rebelfone called 2 days before we were supposed to leave saying the phone is out of stock and that I'll get a refund but no phone. I start looking for another phone for a rush order and 4 hours later they call back saying we will ship it out we just don't have the charger for it.

This is unacceptable customer service.

We received the phone without any instructions, not even the phone number was included in the package. A week after we got the phone instructions were emailed to us. We looked up the instructions on the web and figured out the phone number from the phone's setting menu.

We just returned from Europe and the coverage in Hungary was very good, unfortunately the coverage in Germany was awful and we couldn't use the phone at all.

We received a bill via email part way through our trip that charged us for the cell phone rental even though we had met the 15 euro charge minimum, after calling customer service they said everything would get adjusted once they received the phone back after the trip. I am hopeful that will happen.

On each bill it says statements are considered correct unless errors are reported within 7 days, so make sure to check your statements when they arrive.

Regarding Rebelfone's response to my post. The rep only notified me 2 days prior to my trip not a week and never told me that I would be reimbursed for the travel charger. I am glad the phone did arrive prior to trip.

"Rebelfone advertises 3G service while abroad in China. This service was clearly not provided (EDGE service at best, which in China is ridiculously slow- almost unuseable). Vustomer service has been extremely unhelpful in resolving the issue."

"My cards were not mailed on time. Then when they were they were the wrong size after going over the order with customer service several times. Then to make it worse my numbers were not the same as I requested. They told me to have my carrier foward my business customers calls to an international number. Verizon has never provided that service and if they could it would cost me $1.25 min. This order was all screwed up and stressed me out due to the lack of knowledge of your staff. I am totally dissatisfied. "

"I ordered a handheld WiFi device on May 7, 2013 and was contacted on or about May 16 (which is over a week after placing my order) that no WiFi units were in stock to send me. It is now too late to order another unit from another company and I was counting on using this device during my trip. I am sorry to say that ordering from this company should be avoided. In this day and age of information, it is hard to fathom why it would take over a week for a customer to be contacted to tell them that what they ordered in not in stock. This information should be readily available when the customer first places their order. What prevented me from giving a lower 1 star rating was the fact that their customer service organization did contact me and then followed up with my by sending an E-mail to confirm that my money would be refunded. I have yet to confirm that my credit card has actually been credited"

"It would be helpful if you are upfront about the shipping time frame. I had no idea that you were timing on my departure date even though I ordered the sim card 15 days prior to my travel to europe. I had a domestic trip prior to europe and couldn't afford to stick around to receive your late shipment. Also, the pin number was not emailed. "Paid for two day shipping. Not only did the item not arrive in that time frame it didn't arrive for 5 days causing me to miss the package before I left for the UK which is the whole reason I ordered. I then had to pay $70 to overnight it to myself in the UK. Not happy at all will never use this service again unless a credit is given to my account for the shipping. "
