"First of all very hard to activate it was not given proper instructions. The phone had voicemails from a different client wasn't registered to our name. Also was given a follow me number that didn't WORK!! "

"The phone and data service worked well when we got to France. There were a few issues getting a card that would fit in one phone, and getting the APN properly configured to use the data plan. While customer service was able to resolve these issues, be aware that there is no one to help between Friday 6 PM EST and Monday 9 AM EST (and an e-mail sent on Friday at 7 PM EST was not answered within 48 hours). Overall, a positive experience."

"The first sim card didnot work in South Africa ;I found out the hardway calling on my home phone and being billed by Verizon for 2 calls 140.00 then u sent out a new sim card that finally worked.The chargers pack that you sent along with the fone none worked;he had to buy one locally in South Africa for $3.90. My Verizon adjusted my bill after I complained to $20.00 after they put a block to S.A.from my home #"

"The SIM cards were ordered on 7/16. We are leaving for our European trip on 8/6. Today is 8/1 and the SIM cards have not arrived. We have just two more week days before departure. I called today and they told me there was a back order so they would ship them to arrive THE SAME DAY we are leaving. That is cutting it a little tight to say the least. Furthermore, they did not bother to call to let us know about this. So far not a great experience. Let's see if they actually arrive."

"Instructions said phone would be delivered 3-5 days before travel. It arrived well before that and I wasn't home. Then UPS left the package outside (for two days). It was raining. Got lucky and it was still there and not ruined when I got home."

"I am currently in France and Rebelfone's service has been extremely poor so far. I purchased the data package (did not work when we arrived) along with 40 euro package (ended after two short local calls and one text message). I was suppose to have received a call as of yesterday, but have only received one email stating that everything is working. If it's working, why not call and go through the process that way? I can tell you why, b\c it isn't working. I can't speak for everyone, but so far I have been extremely disappointed. Will be forced to buy a data plan through Orange if nothing changes by this afternoon. "

"Recently they sold world sim card at 50% discount. Worth taking its service as it works most of the place. They process order with no delays, i got my card within 5 days of placing them request. i like their prompt service. "

"The initial customer service was very good. The phone was delivered as scheduled and it worked well for all my needs. After i returned from my trip, I returned the phone via priority mail to the return address specified on the zippered phone case I was sent. The phone came back undeliverable. After communicating with Rebelfone, I was given a new address, an apology and a promise to bill me to the original return date. I was later sent an invoice that billed me for the extra 10 days involved in the delivery to their old return address and had to spend several hours over many weeks communicating with customer services to get them to stick to their original promise and refund extra costs that I was charged. The final pricing structure was also different than what i was told initially. I don't like to have to micromanage a vendor and hold them accountable to their initial commitments. In the future, I wold cosider using Rebelfone again, but I will be checking for other options before I do that. I had hoped to find a vendor I could work with and trust. Too bad their customer service and billing does not work as well as the phone service."

"Everything worked smoothly and as advertised...except...and this is a big except in my case...data service wasn't enabled as ordered on my two SIMs. Luckily I had WiFi available at the start of my trip and emailed the service desk. They do not take service calls over the phone (you get a voice prompt asking for an email) which is exceptionally annoying. I received a confirmation within a day and they fixed the problem on the network, which was seamless. The part that was not seamless was the instruction sheet that told me how to update the carrier settings on my phone, which was very confusing involving downloading apps, installing profiles, etc., which is unacceptable and could open the phone to a risk of hacking. So in the end, it worked and service once up and running was flawless, but it was painful getting there."

"This entire exercise has been a total disaster, and one of the most appallingly frustrating things I have ever had to deal with.
You sent me a phone which had problems which could not be resolved by the diagrams the technicians e-mailed to me, because they were for a different model of phone. This has been going on for days, with no solution. Many of my e-mails have been ignored. Based on this experience I will never, under any conditions, ever deal with Rebelfone again.
