"Good experience while using Rebelfone services. Came to know about it through one of my friends, who had also used it for foreign trips. He suggested me to use Rebelfone international sim card so that is ave on roaming carriers. Using rebelfone services was a good decision for me. It worked very well all across Germany and call connectivity was also very good.

I took prepaid sim card, so whenever i needed to talk to take calls from states, i recharged online and used it. It reduced roaming charges up to 80% as they have promised me while taking card from them. Incoming was free all the time and outgoing call charges was comparatively very less. I would like to recommend Rebelfone sim card to all international travelers. It can help in saving a good amount on international roaming.

"My overall experience, so far, has been great. They have responded to on-line inquiries almost immediately and have been very helpful by phone as well. The SIM cards arrive even before the date promised.

My only reason for putting in the "so far" is that we haven't been to France to use them yet, so I can't tell if there might be any problem or difficulties when we get there.

"So far, it has been excellent. The trip to China is a week away, but RebelFone delivered my SIM card with days to spare. Before shipping, they gave me a call to verify that the delivery address was correct, which gave me a sense that RebelFone was on top of the order and wanted to make sure there would be no problems. I'm expecting that the card will perform well in China; if it doesn't, I'll post a follow-up review!"

"We had a horrible experience with Rebelfone USA. We sent our 11 year old son to Australia for 14 days in June. He was travailing with the People to People student Ambassador group so we would not be with him. We ordered and paid for our phone several weeks ahead of the scheduled departure date. We were expecting to receive the phone a few days in advance so we could program the numbers for our 11 year old to have in Australia. We expected the phone a few days in advance of our 11 year olds departure day to make sure he understood how to use the phone. We expected to receive the phone a few days in advance of our 11 year olds departure to make sure it worked.

We received the phone 26 hours before the departure time for our 11 year old son to leave Denver to LA and on to Sidney Australia. The phone would not turn on after following the instructions. The Charge light would not come on after plugging in the phone. It was just dead and would not work at all. We called the help line who said we needed to plug it in for four hours before we could turn it on. Four hours later it still had no charge light and it would not turn on. By this time the departure time for our 11 year old son was 20 hours away. We were informed that it was too late to send another phone out to us in time. They told us that they could send the phone to our 11 year old son in Australia. They wanted to send an untested phone that was not set up and not programmed to our 11 year old son half way around the world. We informed them that this was unacceptable and we would not do that. As it turns out the flight was delayed from Denver and the group missed the connection in LA, they spent the next day in LA. That next night the flight to Sidney was canceled and they spent the following day in LA. Due to a 48 hour delay in LA, they skipped Sidney all together and went straight to Brisbane. The phone would have been waiting in Sidney with no one to pick it up.

The worst part of all was now our 11 year old son would be flying halfway around the world from Denver to Australia with no phone to communicate with his family back home. It is gut wrenching having to send your 11 year old son off with no phone after he was told he would be able to call us and we could call him any time it was needed. If we received the phone a few days in advance like we had expected then we could have ordered another phone from a different company.

We sent the broken phone back to Rebelfone USA in the next couple of days. We had to pay return shipping for a broken phone that we never used. We had paid for the phone almost a month in advance and then we had to pay the shipping to get the phone back so we were out over $100.00 with nothing to show for it. We received an email telling us that they need to evaluate our charges and they would send us a final bill. It took several emails to convince them that we do not have a bill and we expect a full refund. We received the refund of our purchase price exactly two months after it went out of our account. We found this very disappointing that we were out our money for two months and no refund of our shipping cost for a broken phone.

We never received any apology for having to send our 11 year old son to Australia with no phone. We never received any apology for not refunding our shipping price for the broken phone. We never received an apology for keeping our full price for two months. We never received any apology from anyone for any of the problems we encountered.

We were very disappointed in Rebelfone USA and we have been telling everyone not to use them or their products. I do not know if they understand who People to People Student Ambassador Program is but they have missed out on several sales I am sure. The People to People network is massive and they send students all around the world every year. I will continue to blog against Rebelfone USA and try to drive all business away form them.
