"Wow! At first I thought I was thrown under the bus by these people, but they actually came through and did what they were supposed to do. I got the Sony kdl-40ex720 for more than $100 below the next best price. I got basic shipping which was free (David Gallagher called and made me insure it for $50 when he said it was only going to be $10.30... moving on) and got it the next day!
I thought there had to be something shady about this kind of deal. Super cheap, and got it faster than Jimmy Johns. But it was ligit. Who woulda thought. So far so good. I had a bit of a rough start with this purchase, but now I realized that I'm the ass who doubted. And no, I'm not a pretend story. I had a rough start, but ended up with a great experience with Powerseller.

"I placed an order for a TV on the 11th of march and it is now the end of march and I have heard absolutely nothing about my shipping. I have called them multiple times and they said that they have already handed the product to the shipping agency and that it is out of their hands. Well, the shipping agency they use has no tracking number and can not be contacted. They just want you to wait until the shipping company contacts you but it's been 2 and a half weeks now and I still have absolutely no clue where my tv is. They say shipping is 7-14 days. DO NOT BELIEVE IT. It's been 18+ days and I have no idea how many more days I have to wait.
Edit - I received my tv on 4/5. Order was placed on 3/11 and processed on the 3/15. They took exactly 15 business days to deliver the product to me which is 1 day over their promised shipping time. They had to switch to another shipping agency that had a tracking number and that shipping agency was very good. They made the switch on the 3/31 and that agency got to my doorsteps in 5 days. Sadly, they picked it up from new york which means for 2 and half weeks, the original shipping agency did not even begin to move the tv. The product i received is in great shape and there are no problems as of yet with the product. I greatly enjoy the tv that I bought. My only issue is that it took a full 25 days from placing the order to receiving the product. For patient people, I would recommend this site because the price is great and the product is great. Just don't expect it anytime soon. "

On each occassion I saved between 700-$1,100.00 per TV. I thought it was too good to be true however when I read the Reviews for BestBuy online I not only save thousands but got much better service and paid much less overall."
"Had a great experience with this company! Bought 3 TVs, 1 LED for my living room and 2 for each of the bedrooms in my house. The quality of the TVs are amazing. I was worried about when the TV's will arrive and the cost with all the extra accessories, so i contacted PowersellerNYC and they were able to help me out with everything that I had needed. "I would recommend this company for anyone who is looking for a good quality, brand name item at a fraction of the cost. You've got to be patient with them as it takes a few weeks to get your product, and in the interim, it can get a little "testy" as it is not exactly a 24/7 operation, and shipping comes from another source. "Having been on both sides of sales (reseller and manufacturer), I have a keen idea of how the process works, hence, I can forgive much. Unfortunately, I have also been on both sides of the experience AFTER THE SALE. I am an advocate of customer service (something I feel is slowly becoming a lost art). So far, I cannot give my experience with Powerseller NYC a thumbs up. David Gallagher gave his due diligence in upselling, and despite his offers were great deals, I was committed to just the TV I ordered. He was courteous and understood. GREAT... my TV was confirmed and Superbowl was in the tank.
Unfortunately, I have yet to even know whether or not my $2400 TV has even shipped. Did they not have it in stock (website indicated they did). Was I unlucky in ordering just after they sold out? Is the freight company they're using on strike? Point being, despite my account with PNYC, despite my conrimed order, and despite my bank shows a negative the amount I paid for the TV, I have no idea, and my numerous (polite) email, has yet to yield a response.
To the management at Powerseller NYC... I am a home grown New Yorker, and often brag about how far superior NY's are in the art of sales. Please, do not make me eat my word with the novices here in California. You know what I'm talkin about."
"Attempt to make a large purchase with this company. Ordered a 82 inch 3D TV, Denon Receiver and Blu-Ray Player over the phone. They guy told me it would be FREE Shipping. But then charged $136 for Freight Shipping. Told me that the TV will only work with 1.4 HDMI cables and the they cost $150 a piece and said I needed 3, and told me they only have 4 and 6 warranty for the tv ,which cost about 600 bucks. When I did the research. found out they are not even approved to be authorized seller for the TV. There was no 6 year warranty for the tv on the website and the HDMI Cables cost about 20 bucks a piece. I canceled my order and they attempted to keep 10% of the cost which was over $400.00. I had to dispute the charges to get my money back. BUYERS BEWARE!!"
"Ordered a JVC HD950 projector on Dec 7th, recieved it on Dec 11th. They say free shipping but charge 3% insurance, but that still beats the 9% sales tax out here in california. Great price, fast service. I will purchase from this store again."
