"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. They will not sell you the product as advertised on their website. I was under the impression that I bought a new TV from them but instead I received a refurbished TV, that does not even work!!

Now I have been battling them to receive a refund. PowersellerNYC has been unwilling to give me a refund. Therefore I am now filling a complaint through the New York Attorney General's office and with my credit card company.

Again, Please do not buy from this company. I wish that I had read some reviews about PowersellerNYC before making the purchase. If I had then I would not be in the situation I am now!!!

"The lowest price with one minor issue.I purchased a HTSB500 Sharp SoundBar from this vendor. I thought it was going to be a new unit and upon receiving it, it did look new and operated great.Later, when I registered the product with Sharp, Sharp advised me that the unit was in fact "refurbished" and this voided the one-year warranty with Sharp and now Sharp would only warrant the unit for 30 days. When I contacted Powerseller about this, I was told that they too believed it to be a new unit and apparently their "distributor" sold it to them as new and they would take issue with this with the distributor. The Powerseller Customer Service representative then offered me two "free" HDMI cables as compensation and also offered me the a 4 year warranty at no cost to me and the warranter did tell me that they would stand behind the warranty even though the product is refurbished. I think this is a good deal and I am satisfied. "

"I called Powersellers to inquire about a 64 inch Samsung television on the 17th about 6:50pm. The salesperson was very professional and patient with the fact that it was time to close up shop. The individual, David Nhtken, patiently entertained all my questions and responded with excellent information about the $3000.00 plus product I was about to purchase. Next day, about 9:00am, much to my surprise, the order was fully entered into the system and I was able to verify the details discussed from the previous night. This lead me to believe that the sales person did not just run home after our phone discussion, but ensured that the job was thoroughly done.

I am impressed with this response so far from Power sellers, in particular from David and look forward to being a fully satisfied customer when my TV is delivered,

"THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!!! Don't buy from them! We purchased a Sharp Aquos TV on 1/7/10. We registered the set with Sharp, thus creating a warranty with them through 4/7/11. Additionally, we purchased using our American Express, so that the warranty would be doubled, therefore, our warranty would be in effect until 4/7/12. On 2/21/11 the TV set broke. I called Sharp, to place a warranty claim and was told that the set I purchased from Powerseller was NOT a NEW TV, it was a refurbished set, therefore the warranty was null and void. I contacted Powerseller, and after several emails, and a report to the Better Business Bureau, replied, that they would do nothing at all. They are acting fraudulently, and selling refurbished sets as new. DON'T BUY FROM THEM!!! By the way, Powerseller's response was that I should have notified them earlier. I called them the day the tv set broke. I had no way of knowing earlier, other than calling Sharp with the serial number, which I didn't think to do, that the set was not new, but refurbished. Powerseller replied "what did I want them to do, the warranty was over anyway". That was not true, first the warranty with Sharp was good for 1year and 3 months based on a special, and secondly, the warranty was good for another year from that because American Express doubles the manufacturers warranty. This store is a bunch of CROOKS!!"
