"Wish I had seen these reviews first. I ordered a quad core processor from them the same day as I ordered a tower, power supply, hdd, dvd-r, mb, ram, and a video card from amazon and tigerdirect. Thought it was a good deal because the processor was a little cheaper with pacificgeek. That was 7days ago. I have the computer completely assembled ready to go but they never shipped the processor. I emailed them and threatened to cancel(where have I read that before?) so they sent me a tracking number and apologized. For the next 8 hours the tracking # said invalid on ups.com. The next morning it showed that the package was checked in at 10:30pm and was scheduled to arrive in the next week. You would think after they didn't ship it for a week even though I paid $25 shipping they would put a rush on it but I guess they don't give a crap if customers come back. Ordered 2/3 shipped 2/9. There was a quick response to my email, that's the only good thing I have to say about them."

"Product did not ship until I finally e-mailed and complained of canceling order due to unreceived status. Shipped next day after complaint and arrived in rough condition externally. Definitely used and not refurbished. Still covered in various stickers as well. "

"What a mistake buying from these people.
I ordered two cable modems and a refurbished Dell tower.
They took 12 days to ship the modems which also had the keyboard and mouse. The keyboard won't recognize some keys. The modems are new, but neither would work.
They took 14 days to ship the computer. (There fine print said it could take "up to" seven business days.)
I just opened the box. The computer is so beat up that it looks like it was dragged through several airports.

I can't believe they call this "refurbished". If they were selling this on eBay and had shown an accurate picture, it would have only received bids as if it were just for parts.
Oh, and contacts. They have responded to just two out of 7 inquiries.

"I ordered a refurb computer from pacificgeek. First, they said it will take them more than ten days to ship the order. Then when I cancelled the order before it got shipped they only refunded me the money minus the shipping cost. Emails for an explanation have gone unanswered. This place is certainly to be avoided like the plague. I am disputing the transaction via paypal now. DO NOT buy from this store. "

"Pacific Geek is as bad as people say. You really should avoid these people. I didn't want to believe it since I already completed my order. I ordered a couple used 2U HP servers on 9/9/2010 and on 9/24/2010 they still have not been shipped. Once I emailed them about canceling my order they provided me with a tracking number just as others have claimed. It has been at the initiated stage for almost 4 days now, like others have claimed.

UPDATE:
Received a new tracking number and it should be here Monday, we'll see. This sounds like deja-vu of the review below.

"PROS: I received my order in only 6 days. Shipping cost was very low. They accept Google Checkout and PayPal.

CONS: The order was not correct. 1GB RAM and a 80GB hard drive was only 512MB RAM and a 40GB Hard Drive. They said they would send me 512MB RAM and refund $10 for the hard drive. The refund arrived quickly, and the RAM eventually did, after I e-mailed about it.

"I purchased a Grade B Dell Laptop from Pacific Geek. After waiting nearly 3 weeks for shipping information, I emailed their customer service. The first two emails went unanswered. The third email I sent, now nearly a month since I place the order, I told them I would be cancelling the charge on my credit card if I did not hear back from them. The next day I received an email telling me it would ship that day or the next. I received the laptop a week later and about twenty minutes after turning it on it shut itself off. I could not get it to stay on more than twenty minutes ever with it on a cooling fan. I then contacted them about returning the defective laptop. BEWARE; they will not pay for return shipping even on defective merchandise. I had to pay to return the laptop to them and they deducted their cost of shipping out of my refund. So I’m out $30+ bucks for their defective laptop. I would not recommend taking a chance with them unless you’re willing to throw your money away."

"I ordered a notebook from a nooner, and received it in a timely manner. However, it did not work. I quickly received an RMA and shipped it back for repair or replacement. Now, one month later, it is indicated on my account that NO ACTION has yet been taken (after 30 days!). I have written two emails to them to request a time estimate on getting this notebook back in working condition. Neither email has been answered. It has now been almost two months since I paid for this notebook and have not had the opportunity to use it yet.
It was a good price, but what good is the price if you do not have use of the merchandise?

"I was looking for a motherboard that was clasified as end of service. So I knew it would be hard to find. No place but Pacific Geek said they had it. The price was very high. But, I needed the board. I ordered it, the charge was debited from my account. Finally after a week and a half I called to find out what was going on with the order. I was told the online order department doesn't come in to work until later. But, was assured they would send me an email on the status of the order. I recieved nothing. Finally got an email with a tracking number. When checking the status it showed only that it had been initiated. But the expected arrival date was May the 10th. May the 10th came and went and no motherboard. I called back only to be told they had no motherboard. They finally credited my acoount after using my money for over 2 weeks. I will not do business with these people."

"We ordered two of ther refurbed 1U DL140 servers. One arrived with some shipping damage but both work fine and were as ordered. The problem was the rail kit that they sold specifically for the 1U servers were not compatible at all and would not work at all. Shipping is slow but we have received everything we ordered. "

"An absolute commitment to a lack of customer service defines this company. I had pleasant dealings with the company in the past, but the years have not been kind. I ordered a product from their "nooner" e-mail. I was advised that it would take UP TO 10 business days to ship. Two weeks later (10 business days) I hadn't received it and sent an inquiry as to when the product would arrive. I was rudely told that I should have known it would take up to ten days, and it would ship the next day (11th business day), and I would receive an e-mail confirming the item shipped. I checked for an e-mail, received nothing. I checked the site, and the item was still in "processed" (unshipped) status. "

"These guys are terrible and I'll never order from them again. I am a reseller and ordered an IBM part. Half the time I could not get through to anyone on the phone and all my emails went unanswered. When I did get a hold of someone it was one guy and he was rude. 2 weeks after I placed the order, I called and was told my product shipped to my customer but no tracking information. My customer did finally receive the product. It shipped from Russia and was wrapped in some sort of cloth with Russian writing. A little wierd but the product did arrive but not after not being told anything as far as ETA or tracking. "

"DON'T BUY HERE! I ordered a new HP Deskjet. I was shiped a used one that don't work and has screwed my PC up. I spent eight hours on line with HP tecs before thet gave up. I had the same printer so this should of been simple. Never buy at Pacific Geek"
