"Entry of Aug 24, 2007:
Ordered a replacement power brick for an HP PSC.

Order arrived just fine, well packed, delivery time was reasonable for USPS Priority mail. Item was in excellent condition.

PacGeeks charged me less for this item (including shipping) than other merchants wanted before adding shipping.

On my shortlist of suppliers.... replacing that other 'geek' site.

Entry of August 4 2008:
On June 30, 2007, I ordered Through Google Checkout. I ordered 3 items
1] a 2 for 1 deal on 32 pin memory which showed with hundreds in stock when I placed the order;
2] a refurbished 40G laptop hard disk drive which showed over a dozen in stock when I placed the order;
3] a free item which was also in stock when I ordered.
According to my email from Google checkout, I was charged for my order within minutes of clicking submit.
2 weeks later, no package, no tracking information. July 15, 2 weeks + 1 day, I get a USPS tracking number. After the local Post Office finally FOUND my package, it was in good shape, but local PO issues not part of this.

WHY did my order ship 2 weeks after I was billed? PG is going back to the old ways of their predecessor, Computer Surplus Outlet, I see. 6 out of 10 for latest order.

"I ordered a cpu fan from Pacificgeek on 6/2/07. It did not arrive until 6/16, and then only after several phone calls. When I ordered it, they had the fan listed as "17 IN STOCK", but now when I call them, they say that they had to order it from someone else??????? Either the "17 IN STOCK" was an outright lie and a scam, or they just have lousy service. They dont answer their phone very often, but when I have reached them by phone or email, they dont seem to be very concerned about my order, and keep saying every week that it will "ship on Thursday". They also tell me that in their part listing that the item is listed as "IN TRANSIT AND WILL SHIP OUT IN 3 TO 4 BUSINESS DAYS". I dont get it....on one page they list the item as "17 IN STOCK", and on another they say it is not in stock.....WHICH IS IT?????? Even if the "SHIP OUT IN 3 TO 4 BUSINESS DAYS" were true, it took them almost 3 weeks to ship my part. How did Pacificgeek get such a high rating from ******* anyway? Did they pay for it? I DO NOT RECCOMEND ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY CAN NOT BE TRUSTED.

They are nothing but a drop shipment scam. They dont stock anything, they just order what you want after you pay them. Why not save the time and money and order it yourself from a company that actually keeps the item in stock?

"They advertised the Dell A525 speakers I ordered as "Although the product looks new they do not have an original box. They are in very good condition" What I got was a set of speakers that look extremely used, scratched up, and appear to have been just tossed in a box with some air bags.

Needless to say I am very unhappy, will not order from them again, and will share my experiences on resellerratings.com and any other site I can find.

"Excellent, Very responsive. Fast fast shipment. By mistake they missed an item in my shipment. I requested them via email, and the missing item was shipped overnight with a apology phone call. Excellent quick service. Highly recommended."
