"Although one of my other orders were canceled, I am very unhappy still. I prefer to shop with smaller companies if I can afford to because every company deserves a chance. This one is really messed up now. I used to shop with them before and they were really nice and fast shipping. Now it's the worst I have ever seen.
On the 3rd order I placed on 12/16/2008, I received most of it on 1/12/2009. I still have one product out that they said shipped but I just checked the status again this morning and it says back ordered. Today is 2/7/2009, needless to say, I don't care what I need, I'm not getting it here.

The order processing is not instant and they might not send out a shipping confirmation but when contacted via email their customer support representative got right back to me – good communication. Was shipped by FedEx! I got my item is fewer days than I expected. Would consider this merchant for my next purchase. "
"I ordered my CPU on Dec 1 2008 and received it on Dec 13 2008 using third party billing "E Bill ME". Aside from the delay's in "E B M" placing the order(which spurred my dialogue with PC Universe customer service) the transaction was a good experience. I would like to give Kudos to the CS dept at PC Universe for their speedy reply's and patience to my emails concerning the order. They replied within an hour or two to all of them. I received my package(a CPU chip) and I was amazed at the care that was given in making sure it arrived undamaged... a "double" box packed with paper was about 8"x8"x12" and the chip was bubble wrapped three layers deep! Most impressive!
Overall, it took a little longer than I had expected, but as I said earlier... it wasn't all PC Universe's fault but the end result was I got what I wanted, paid a good price for it, and it got here safe and sound... and PC Universe helped me every step of the way! What more could a guy ask for?

"This is the first order I placed and very unhappy with their customer service. I sent back item with RMA number and it has been more than 1 month but haven't received any credit. Tried to call ***-***-**** and went in 15 minutes of recorded greetings loop and then got disconnected. Tried several times with same result. Tried even their 1-800 number and voice mail box is full. What a horrible company and what a poor customer service! Stay away from this company. I might have to call discover card to dispute the payment and will NOT buy from them again. STAY AWAY."

"After ordering from this company, I will never do so again. Ordered a Brenthaven Triload briefcase, but quickly found that it wasn't going to fit my needs when I got it. Contacted the vendor to request an RMA, fully expecting that because I'd kept all the original packaging and the item was in fully resaleable condition, I wouldn't have a problem. Nowhere on their site does it say they might not issue a return on this item, as they ethically should if the manufacturer prohibits returns in any context.
The return policy states 5-7 days for an RMA to be issue, but I never received it after initial contact with PC Universe. Contacted them on day 8 to find out the scoop. Was told that Brenthaven denied the RMA and PC Universe wouldn't support the return on their own, which I find despicable. Plus, they wouldn't tell me why it was denied, only that I had to deal with Brenthaven directly to see about an exchange.
Overall, I'd say this is not a trustworthy company to deal with, as they conspicuously don't put any notes of past issue for returns from their manufacturers, restrictions with returns, etc. Customer service people are rude and make no effort to be truly helpful.
My advice - don't buy from this company!!!"
