"I had a perfectly working system with a Kingston 128MB PC2100 module in it that I pulled and then installed into a relative's machine, next day I went to PcClub to purchase another Kingston module but they were Out Of Stock, so instead I purchased this, later on that evening I installed it in the exact same system, when I powered it up SMOKE Emitted from the RAM Module, I pulled the power cord and then inspected everything, I removed the RAM from the machine and discovered two of the pins on the RAM module were burnt indicating a "Short through the module", I took the defective RAM back to the store and to make a very long story short they refused to replace it, refused to refund my money, and said they could only send it back to the manufacturer which also declined to replace it, now not only am I out the cost of this Generic RAM ($30.02) I'm also out the cost of a Motherboard ($160.86),I've wasted alot of time trying to get this resolved with no luck, I'm leaving this feedback as well as information in PcClub's own forum, Various Tech forums located on the net and information at http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1610.html about this purchase. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB regarding this matter. Best of Luck if you choose to Buy it!"
"Bad experience. Bought a RealSync monitor, turned out it was faulty. Because of low stock they replaced it with a demo unit, which turned out to be scratched on the LCD panel itself; they told me there was nothing they could do, and only gave me a refund after much argument. Even then, they charged me a 10% restocking fee - on a faulty, ex-demo unit!!
Try Fry's instead."

I normally shop at EBC computers and newegg.com, but every once in a while, PC Club has an okay price on something that EBC and newegg.com don't sell. That is the only reason I shop here. If people knew about EBC, they wouldn't buy enough at PC Club to keep it in business."

"My brother works for pc club, so it might be a little biased but as far as I have delt with them I have had great experiences. I bought a Dvd burner on 9/16/2003 and the price was 169.99 after a week they had it on special and I went back and they were more then glad to give me the difference. "Placed an order on Sept. 12th for a USB wireless adapter and received an email on Sept. 15th that the item had shipped. One week and two emails later there is no respone from PC Club about the shipment. No tracking number included in the email or on the website. It's now been over a week and I'm still waiting for the shipment or at the very least, any info about it.
UPDATE: Well, they did reply to both emails with a tracking number and shipment info. Delivery was quick actually, but I didn't realize anything had been delivered (to my apartment's leasing office) since there was no shipping status or info of any kind. At the least, PC Club should include shipping info/tracking number with the email notifying of shipment or on their website. Customers shouldn't have to initiate contact and go through a hassle to obtain shipping info. "
