"Horrible experience. I ordered 3 Lenovo laptops, they shipped me 3 Acer laptops. They issued an RMA and told me to place the order again (of course, the price had gone up by $112 per machine). They said they would honor the price, but first I had to order it at the higher price then email them the invoice # they issue on the new order. So I did, now they will not respond. They are tying up over $2700 of my money for 3 laptops that should have cost only $1200. And, I still have no product for re-sell. Awful business practice considering they were at fault and I have typically purchased over $50k a year in systems from them the past 4 years. I am now looking into moving my purchases to another vendor.

After the I posted the above review, I was contacted by their support. They received back the wrong shipment, gave me the credit I had coming and apologized. Happy they came through at the end. Sorry it took a bad review to get their attention.

"Unfortunately I can no longer endorse Neweggbusiness as a practical distributor for our goods. They seem to have started a partnership with a low brow shipping company other then Fed ex or UPS. Now, all of my orders are late. Even worse, they come up as (missing in transit.) This annoyance is now translating over to my customer base and commitments, which is completely unacceptable. Total bummer.

"Outstanding company, great prices. I placed an order and no sooner than I had placed the order, I found a coupon that would have saved me some money. Called their customer service and while they were looking into we got disconnected. They actually called me back and then credited me with the coupon savings. Outstanding."

"I would truly like to thank Shannel.S.Chavez of NewEgg for her commitment and concern in getting problems resolved. We purchased four desktop systems that arrived with the wrong components. Ms Chavez keep with us in order to get this issue corrected. Several years back I had a somewhat similar issue with another merchant that did not get a positive resolution so we no longer deal with them. "Ordered a few things for a NAS build using a $50 off $500 coupon code. The coupon code didn't work for some reason and I had to talk to customer service to get it taken care of. The service was basically the same as newegg.com. It took a little while but they did credit me the amount of the coupon.

My order was shipped quickly and arrived in well packed boxes. Overall good experience except for the coupon not working.

"We are a reseller and system integrator. We have been purchasing from newegg for many years. They have a full line of computer components and is truly a store where you can find everything all at once. Even though their price is not always great, they can provide some qty for resellers unlike tiger direct. Our experience with them has been great. We especially need to thank our sales Brian T. He works diligently on each order. All orders placed are promptly processed and shipped in a timely matter to avoid potential losses due to fluctuating prices. We are very pleased and will continue to purchase from them. A big thanks to Neweggbusiness. Keep up the great work!"

"Newegg offers a selection of computers that are not found elsewhere such as a selection of Windows 7 machines. I ordered a Sony and wanted to swap that out with a Acer. Shannel was very helpful in getting the exchange done without restocking fees. We are a small business with about 45-50 employees and we order about 15 computers a year (three year replacement schedule). So far I have used Dell Small Business and they don't have restocking fees. However thier selection sucks, so I tried Newegg. While I applaud Neweggs selection of items, and Shannel worked wih me to get the exchange done, Newgg should make returning items a little easier and not charge restocking fees. Shannel was outstanding asa rep however."

"If you can, avoid this place if you want to do business. They have the worst sales person you can never deal with. They need to learn how to hire the correct person to do business. The sales that I always have trouble are Brian T and I really don’t want to give out names but his manager should really know about his attitude. If you got him as your sales then may God help you. This guy does not only have attitude problem but also slacks off at work. I know Newegg is trying to improve but with their employee’s working attitude I do not think it is going to work. As a company, if the sales do not care about their customer then how are they going to make money? For example, which happened to me, I wanted to order 50 pieces of CPUs in hoping that I would better price than normal. He would not help me until I do not want it anymore. He later then honored me the price and told me that I need to order more to get help from him because he does not want to WASTE his time but his job is sales? Waste his time? I am the purchaser that are actually buying product from Newegg and I am wasting his time? It just does not make any sense to me. I really hope somebody from Newegg can actually see this because they do not have anywhere to inform them about specific someone. If you are a purchaser, just go to other website or any other computer companies. They would probably treat you the way you are suppose to be treated like a customer."

"I am very pleased with the Customer Service Representative I have been communicating with back and forth for a couple of days now. Gloria M. Perea was extremely helpful when I called NewEgg to question a product that I ordered incorrectly and needed to return. She has and still is helping me get everything corrected and I am beyond pleased with how personable she has been, as if I was the only client she had!!
