"After purchasing some hard drives I had a fantastic experience when contacting customer support ( 2 of 5 were DOA) It happens that some drives are faulty and was not too concerned about the replacement just about the timely fashion since my redundant storage solution was on hold until these two drives were replaced.
I quickly returned them via Post Office and called NeweggBusiness to see if there was a way to get replacement drives quicker than to wait for RMA receive and process. Some items are eligible for pre-authorized replacements to be sent out and some are not.

This information was what I was explained from the delightful and smart representative Gloria M. P. Within minutes she had a solution to receiving quicker replacement for the two drives and then went above and beyond telling me more useful information quickly and efficiently. I was told that usually defective RMA shipping is covered and since I already shipped the RMA via USPS that I can send the receipt and be reimbursed for the shipment I had just done! I have been a NewEgg customer for about 15 years and this was by far the best help i have received from a representative. Gloria was happy easy going and very helpful all while saving me some $. Thank you Gloria and Newegg!

"Newegg Business is easily one of the most convenient and flexible organizations we do business with. Whenever my nonprofit has to make technology purchases, Newegg Business is our first stop, because they have the best prices, fastest shipping, and easily the most helpful customer service.

Just recently I made a purchase for computer memory that ended up being incompatible with our machines. Gloria Perea with Newegg customer service was friendly and helpful, and was able to arrange a return and exchange for the right type of memory. Everything went smoothly and easily. I will only continue to do business with Newegg.

"Use Newegg.com instead if you can. I have been a customer of newegg.com for over 10 years and being an IT Manager and Purchaser, thought I'd finally check out the NeweggBusiness.com site to send them even more of my money. Imagine my surprise to find that the cost on the NeweggBusiness.com site was higher or equal to Newegg.com, and on all the items I looked up. Also, shipping at NeweggBusiness.com was either more expensive or equal cost as Newegg.com for the exact same shipping. If you don't believe me, please do the research yourself. I'd really like to find out that the 23 things I researched were all consistently "anomalies".

When I requested a reason from NeweggBusiness.com for these cost discrepancies via their online form, it took them 2 days to get back to me with a canned response about market fluctuations. Maybe I'm missing something here, but wouldn't Market fluctuations affect both sites?

Based on that level of customer service and intelligence, I'll be staying with my human reps at CDW and TigerDirect for my $1,000+ purchases and just using Newegg.com (NOT NeweggBusiness.com) for the really great deals and to do competitive price checks on equipment.

In summary, I think that the NeweggBusiness.com site as a mediocre attempt. Definitely not what I would have expected from a company as great as Newegg.com has been in the past.

"Lately we have been experiencing issues with shipping. We have been ordering from newegg for years - and we are a well respected PC repair and Data Recovery business in our area. Newegg has been causing us stress and exposure to our clients. We are looking bad based on the reflection of the quality we are receiving with our orders recently and the quality of your products. 1 issue we were faced with was a MSI motherboard we ordered for a custom built system. It did not work out of the box so we RMA'd it and when their RMA dept received it in they said it was not the original "retail box" and rejected our RMA. After calling them to discuss it with their customer service dept (Mercedes) she was helpful and was able to give us store credit but not a refund due to the fact that they said it was not the original retail box - we tried to explain that maybe it was sent to us in the wrong retail box from the get go - she was accommodating but still would not issue a refund just a credit - I guess something is better than nothing. She was helpful though. Another issue was last week we ordered a refurbished laptop for a customer of ours. It was a HP i5 laptop. When we received the laptop the box wasn't even sealed completely, was not marked fragile anywhere, and was not packaged with any buble wrap or protection at all. We turned the laptop on - it had no updates in it - OK so we started to download the updates. 2 hours into the laptop just shuts off. My tech could not get it turn on. He spent and hour on it tryn to get it to work - no power. The board fried out while trying to do MS updates. Really? don't they test these before they go out? The person who packaged the laptop should have been fired - obviously it got damaged in shipping. When the UPS guy delivered it he was like here's your package and tossed it in a chair. Not his fault since he does not know whats in it since it is not marked "FRAGILE". I called up cust service to complain and they tell me that there was nothing they could do for us since that was the last laptop they had is stock and that I would have to RMA the laptop, wait till they rec it and check it in, and approve the refund in which will take up to 7-10 business days. I said are you kidding me? I have to tell my customer he has to wait 10 more business days to get his refund so I can purchase another laptop with the money and the cust rep said yes that was the best they can do for me... I was floored by this! Lastly, the last 10 or so hard drives we have ordered all diff manufactures at least 8 were RMA'd out of the lot... What is going on with your quality assurance, shipping, and your product support anymore? I guess we would see more issues with products since we order in volume and most of your customers prob just order a few items over a short period of time but we are so dissatisfied with your quality that we are ordering our stuff from another supplier for now on. I would say thank you after this message - but why? You have not earned it in our opinion."

"NeweggBusiness has honestly been great to work with. Flexibility in payment options, helpful customer service, and they get my order to me quick. I rarely have to deal with a human contact, but when I do they are typically friendly and professional. I appreciate that over the cold professionalism I get with some other companies, as it makes me feel like I'm getting the best they can offer. Special acknowledgement to Abbi who helped today with some fairly arduous payment change issues that were honestly the fault of my own poor planning. She was apologetic for the delays that just aren't avoidable, which made me feel less bad for having to put her through it."

"Buyer beware!!
If you just spent $2,000 on a NAS and one of the drives was DOA and then weeks later after you have returned it they told you. "Thank you for calling, yes that was all damaged so there is nothing we can do". Thank you, bye and have a nice day!
Would you
a) Say thank you the great customer service ( including not contacting me)
b) Say shucks, it was fine when I sent it back, oh, dear, can I buy another one from you?
c) Say, do the right thing and replace the faulty drive that you sent me?

If you buy from these guys you had better not need to return anything!

"I received some damaged drives from newegg and setup an RMA. After a while I got a notice that my RMA was denied because the returned drives were physically damaged. I knew from my packing methods that this was no fault of my own so I called to dispute it. Bobbi quickly had my problem resolved with her supervisor and they made an exception for my case. It's good to know that Newegg is willing to bend the rules to keep their customers happy."
