"I'd ordered some NCH software and thought I hadn't received the actuation code, so I tried the Free version, found the software wouldn't meet my needs and asked for a refund. Irish's response was immediate and the refund was granted.
Later, I found the actuation code had landed in my email SPAM folder.

"Even though I have the non-commercial (free) version of the WavePad Sound Editor software, I received a response to my query within just a few hours of emailing it. The software is considerable overkill for my needs, I only use it once or twice a year to split a large file into smaller ones, but it looks like it could accomplish any audio editing task I could ever need, plus a large number of tasks that I would never have thought of."

"Have used this inexpensive but very effective software for a number of years, both in my time as an audio recording engineer, but also in retirement as I produce small projects from my home studio. Other conversion software takes its time to convert files, but SWITCH does it almost instantly and accurately. A must have piece of software.

Instead we discuss a piece using Zoom and then record our tracks separately; I have been using MixPad for this and have found it very easy to use. I started out with the free version and have upgraded to the paid version."
"PhotoPad is the only photo editor I need.
I can crop and edit the photo using fixes and touch-ups to my liking. Various pre-set filters and effects are available, and there are cool functions such as editing a batch of photo's, creating a panorama by sticking photo's together, merging of photo's into a single HDR image, card creation and creating a contact sheet from several photo's. You can draw on your photo and add text and borders.
